The Boxer is well located within easy walking distance of most attractions in Boston. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the coffee in the foyer and bottled water from reception.

The bed was comfortable, and view from 9th floor good. Location was good for me, as needed North Station and subway. A quiet and functional hotel.
Very disappointed that for a hotel of its caliber, the breakfast options weren't great, nor the quality (plus, the dining area was cold). I went somewhere else a couple times. The room was quite small. Overall, even despite location, the hotel seemed overpriced given all this.

Amazing location if you are going to the Garden.
The windows are incredibly dirty, our nightstand was broken on check in and the bathroom could use some repairs.

Good location, very centric and it was okay. Breakfast in the hotel was very good.
The room was so small it could only fit a king bed and it took all the space, couldn't even walk inside the room. Way too small. Receptionist took way too long to attend all customers, they had two computers but only one was working.

I absolutely loved staying here! Staff was so friendly, the room was incredibly clean, shower was really hot. This will now be my go-to hotel when visiting the city. Highly recommend!

Air conditioner stopped working while we were sleeping. Woke up sweating and the room was so stuffy. After repeatedly, turning the air conditioner off and on and pressing every possible button, and eventually turned on after a few hours, and we were able to get back to sleep.
Bed was kind of lumpy but ok.
A big hair was on the shower wall

We were able to walk most places in Boston. Accessing further areas was also simple since we were within a 10 min walk to several train stations.
Not very good noise insulation -- noises from the rooms are easily heard from the hallways. I could hear people snoring in their rooms walking down the hallways. Just be mindful that your conversations (or other activities >.<) could be easily heard from the hallway.

The bed was wicked uncomfortable, it felt like i was sleeping on a hill. Parking is $50 and you have to park yourself- no valet- and its at least a block away. The bar at the hotel is also no longer open.

Across the street from a mental institution with random patients wandering around in diapers. No parking close by- and you had to pay 50 dollars per night. Rooms were hot and small. Hotel staff was unfriendly. No breakfast or snacks included. Far walk from everything.

I liked its charm and location - they quickly brought up a plunger when my toilet got clogged
The receptionist read my room number and floor out loud for everyone to hear I was with a child and as a woman traveling alone you don’t do that, the coffee maker still had coffee in it and was dirty, the bottom of the shower floor was dirty

The location was great for many restaurants within a short walk. It had the ambience of a small hotel, not a crowded corporate hotel.
The restaurant doesn’t serve dinner, but that forces you to get out and make your own decisions.
