some breakfast offering would be nice (fruit, breakfast bars, etc.). can be simple something to grab and go. check in staff was very unsure about street parking - she was convinced that I was not allowed to park on the street, even though signs were clear that parking is allowed over night on streets. I felt the staff should know very well about parking and not jsut push hard to have us use the garage.

The staff were wonderful… The location amazing

The room and the halls did not feel clean. When I walked in the blinds, head been drawn, and the curtains closed and it felt like a coffin. Mixed with that dusty carpet smell. It was very stale in the room. Also, there’s no coffee makers in the room and the CTA theme of the place was confusing.

My son and I were in town for a cubs game and wanted to stay close to Wrigley. We parked our car in the parking ramp around the corner from the hotel (fairly convent). It would be a short walk maybe 10-15 min to Wrigley but we bought a day pass for the train (which the station is literally next door) and when we boarded the train just over a min later we got off right next the the field (it was the first stop). The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. If you are in town for a cubs game this is the place for a reasonable price. I will be staying here if we ever get back for another game.

The parking available situation was a shock, it should have been explained on the website more clearly. Being from out of town we had no idea of the extent of finding a spot, especially one anywhere close to the hotel.

I loved the easy parking around the corner and the excellent location near a bus stop and the Belmont train station. The room was very nice and clean.

The hallways smelled a bit like weed (which really doesn't bother me much but it might others) but the room was odor free. The radiator heat, even with the wall space heater, didn't quite get the room as warm as I wanted. It was below zero degrees, however, and it wasn't that bad - just a few degrees off.

Proximity to public transit was extremely helpful. I couldn't hear much outside noise from my room above the entrance.

It was a bit drafty. There's enough heating to compensate. It's why I'm not stoked about the hotel. I know it's an older building. It's fine.

location was good, the room and the bathroom were clean, beds comfortable and great to have the suite with the extyra fridge. Nice to have the coffee available.

well I paid for the room when checked in, and then when i checked out, later that day they tried to charge me again on a different card, I don't know how they even got my card info. Also, there was another charge attempt on that same 'other' card for what I assume was incidentals. ($17 and change) but I didn't use anything from the snack area or bar/fridge.

the water pressure in the shower wasnt terrible like some comments say but i will say the sink water did have a smell but not the shower

I like that it was quite at nigh (both inside the room and outside, so good to sleep). Friendly staff (helped me to arrange something additional). Full day/night enter/output possible without problems (and checkin looks like before 10pm by default). The only minus is that had to pay additionally for parking of my car about 28 USD, but it was expected (since no free or included to hotel price parking in Chicago). The location of Hotel is good enough (I was with my son and we left out truck car at the parking suggested by hotel and used subway to travel to the center). There is subway station near the hotel (can use both Red or Brown line for traveling to the center in the evening).

No breakfast included, but anyway we had unlimited free coffee and hot tea.
