The location is excellent. The parking lot is just a few minutes walk from the hotel and, at $25 a day is very inexpensive by Chicago standards. The staff was very pleasant and help as were the parking valets in the garage.

The baseball theme was cute. The popcorn was excellent and the coffee in the am was a pleasant surprise. However, in terms of staffing I'd say that the first attendent was pretty inattentive and disinterested in us as customers. The night attendant too was inanimate. However, there were two day front desk attendants that really attempted to recognize we were paying customers and within his scope of duties did much to make the stay more pleasant. They were most helpful and capable.
There were a bunch of little things that didn't work properly. We had indicated that we needed a room fresh up and new towels the day after our initial first day. It never happened. The toaster in the coffee area wasn't plugged in and was full of burnt crumbs. This could be a haven for insects. There were a few other things like fresh hand soap daily but that is quite minor.

This property is located walking distance to the redline which takes you directly to the Chicago Center/Touristy areas. We loved how close it was to Gay Bars and clubs and the amount of local dinning options. Truly recommend this place for anyone looking to quiet time while at the same time being really close to so many night party options and easy access to train that takes you to the center of the city.

We loved our stay at Majestic. I was drawn to it because of the architecture and that it was a historical building. Given these facts I understood the rooms were not going to be as large or the elevator huge. We didn't care these are things we love about not staying in a corporate hotel. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our stay couldn't have been better. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood in the evening and talking with the people who lived there. Everyone was so welcoming.

The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet. We enjoyed the couch area in our room that faced the street.
The parking was not very convenient but it was affordable.

I thought the hotel was great for a night stay! Hotel room had the basics you need and the fridge was filled with drinks you can purchase along with some snacks you can purchase as well. The hotel rooms are good for 2 people. I wouldn't say any more due to size. They gave a cute room out front with coffee and popcorn and it's cozy with the fireplace. The bed was not the most comfortable, but sleepable. My only complaint was not having a coffee maker in the room, but they do have the coffee in the front room area. Staff were very friendly!

the front desk woman was very friendly, clean room, comfy bed, great water pressure in shower, snacks and drinks in the room were priced fairly.
stayed in the windsor room. very loud clanging noise coming from what seemed to be the radiator the entire stay. it would stop for maybe 5 minutes at a time but it made sleeping soundly very difficult, i woke up multiple times throughout the night even though im usually a very deep sleeper. even covering my ears with hands/ pillow did not drown out the noise.

The room was a great size. The bed was comfortable. All the staff was amazing and friendly. There was an issue with parking. But the manager took the time to call around and help us get parking. Roxana was more than amazing. Never meet a manager who cares as much as she did. She went above and beyond to make sure the issue was fix and that we had a great stay.

Only because temperatures in Chicago were subzero, the room's Cadet heater needed a little boost - but the FOH staff provided me with a space heater and then all was well. The place is really old - and keeping wooden frames and old shower tiles clean is a real challenge - I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the building, my room, the shower. The bed was really comfy too.
Nothing. Truthfully. I look forward to returning to the Majestic this spring and summer.
