Featuring two private 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf, as well as a European resort-style golf clubhouse, Flying Horse Resort & Club is located in Colorado Springs. Guests have access to swimming pools and the Athletic Club and Spa. Garden of the Gods is 25 minutes’ drive from the lodge.
Free parking is provided. Each room at Flying Horse Resort & Club offers a seating area with a 55-inch flat-screen satellite TV and an espresso/coffee maker. Guests receive 2 bottles of water per day, per stay.

Staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was too slow: left room at 7AM and came back at 5PM and the room was still not made up. Understand COVID and short staffed, but the cost was not discounted. Had to leave a day early and they still charged my $100 for the day I was not there.
Dinning - DON'T EAT THERE. I can accept outrageous prices: $19.00 for a Caesar salad. But less than ½ cup of lettuce and terrible. Easily the worse ever. BLT sandwich had 2 thin deli slices of turkey and normal bread for like $18.00. I understand the need for high cost. But the food was worse than Applebee's (and I no longer eat there).

Gorgeous and new the facility was warm and welcoming. The room and bath were classy and really felt luxurious and like my own home environment. No hall or adjacent room noise!
the only drawback was the temperature of the room over night. It wasn’t uncomfortable necessarily but just not what I am used to. What I will say looking back on it was it was refreshing to not have a heat/cool unit blaring and obtrusive in the room. I do not hold facility in a negative space regarding this, just wished it was a tad cooler.

I cannot sleep when I’m hot. I know hot is relative to some people, but they have “engineers” as they call them at the front desk, that control the limits of the thermostat. That said, at night when I would like it to be cool in the room (68 for me) it would let me turn it down to 67, but the ac would not come on. I called the front desk about it two nights of our 4 night stay - the first time they got the “engineers” to adjust the thermostat, but the second time they had all already left so I was offered a box fan. 4 star resort 0 star when it comes to allowing their guest to at least control the heating/cooling of their room to adjust to their comfort.

The food and service was excellent! We ate there 5 nights, delicious steaks, appetizers, sides. The happy hour is a great dollar value. The restaurant overlooks Pike’s Peak, just beautiful! The service was outstanding, the chef, Joe Rodriguez is amazing with some of his food combinations.
Had a Bloody Mary at the Tack Room with breakfast one morning, that was a meal unto itself.
Matt the assistant manager procured some delicious rare bourbons, a pleasant surprise, and was very helpful in selecting wine with our meals. Jess, Daniel, and Kari were exceptional servers. They all made our stay very wonderful.

The steakhouse, athletic facilities and gym are top notch, including their staff, services and food options. The actual lodge was a bit disappointing, feels like a roadside motel upon check in although staff was friendly. Location was deep into a residential community and outside of a major city, so unless you’re coming here specifically to play golf, I would opt for other accommodations.

There was absolutely no value for the price. Elevator was not working and were forced to take a handicapped room. Dated room and furnishings, dirty carpet, no reasonable restaurant close by. There was a bug on our toilet when we arrived. Room service for a fruit cocktail was $17. A $33 resort fee for this remote hotel with no facilities.
We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the hotel and the location and surrounding facilities were disappointing

The pools are great, the gym is world class. The steakhouse is wonderful and my breakfast was really really great. Didn't get to play golf during my stay, but I've played there before and it's very nice.
The adult jacuzzi was being worked on, so that was a bummer to not get a hot soak. The steakhouse was great, but very pricey, but you can't say the food isn't amazing. Obviously, the cost of the room was high, almost $400 a night is a lot, but I maxed out the benefits using the facilities.

The property was beautiful and access to the athletic club made our stay exceptional!! The staff we great, especially Cole ( blonde curly hair). Cole went out of his way to help us and check in on us during our stay.
Thought the steakhouse was. Overpriced and the food was only average. One I our guest had a seafood allergy that we told the waiter up front and they got the order mixed up and gave him shrimp !

The pricing for food was inaccurate. They don't offer dinner for Non-members they do have a high-end steak house on premises. We were shown pictures of rooms with either mountain or golf course views, which were half-truths.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with a very nice restarurant on site. Staff were exceptional - I have special contact lenses and lost a lens down the sink. The maintenance team helped me search and even removed the sink u-bend! Alas the lens was lost but I was amazed by the customer care.
