The furniture in the rooms were old, the parking at $45 per night was outrageous and the nightly rate for the average room quality was out of balance. The rooms furniture was old and clunky, there was a tear in the carpet, only 5 hangars were provided, the glassware in our bathroom was dirty and only two bath towels were provided for the 3 of us.

The staff was great. The energy in the bar was probably the most fun we've had.And about five years. There was a great lounge singer and everybody in the bar was singing along and dancing.It felt like we were around people that we've known forever and we knew no one there.

The house keeper kept knocking on the door at 8:45am all the way up to 11:30am. Where check-out is 12pm. Will not be back. The mini bar was locked, the bed was uncomfortable. For $240/night PLUS an $80 incidental fee. Not worth it.

We loved our stay at the Warwick. The hotel’s aesthetic felt effortlessly elegant—beautiful, clean, and just the right amount of fancy. Every space had a polished, welcoming vibe that made the whole experience feel special.
Even though the hospitality and service were truly outstanding, the breakfast was a disappointment. Paying over $70 for a meal we didn’t enjoy took away from the experience. The batter used for both the pancakes and waffles just didn’t land for my daughter, and the American breakfast platter included an unexpected ingredient in the hash browns—cream cheese—which was a big miss for me. Overall, the breakfast options could definitely be improved.

Love the super kind and helpful staff there! The valet was very prompt. The front desk staff person took my bags so they could be placed in my room (I was going to a luncheon and then returning to check in). The Library Bar staff gave me two clean wine glasses and my chaucuterie tray to take to my room with a small gathering.
Oh my goodness--terrible road noise at night. That is SUCH a busy corner in Dallas. I had to wear earplugs to sleep, even though the hotel was so very quiet inside! I think the suites are worse because they have big beautiful windows on the corner. Sad to say, I really need sleep when I travel, so not sure I can return!

Love the new pool and spa is a nice amenity
We actually chose the hotel over others because of pool and spa. And via email we were told we could check in early so that we could enjoy the pool before treatments. The front receptionist was the rudest person - and we have stayed at the Melrose for years. She told me “no early check in” to which I then said we had an email confirming our request. While I was pulling it up , she said “we never send emails to guests”
I knew this to be untrue because for years at various times the manager has contacted me via email when we were hosting different things.
I showed her the email and she never apologized but she let us check in!
We explained we wanted early check to use the pool for a couple of hours. “The pool is closing in 15 minutes for a private party”
I was flabbergasted. As the hotel advertises that even day spa guests can use the pool!
As it turned out, we were able to sit by the pool along with several other guests for over two hours and no private party occurred.
All other staff were wonderful and accommodating- when room service took our order to deliver poolside, some item wasn’t available and she came out to the pool to work out a new order. It was disappointing not to have poolside bar service but room service served.
Spa receptionist also fabulous and welcoming.
Bar has changed. We use to love the quiet ambience with piano music and great cocktails. Now it’s quite a lively scene with several people dancing in the lobby because so crowded and loud. This was not what we were expecting because we always loved it as a place to unwind and chat. Couldn’t hear yourself or an other person with you but obviously it’s drawing a crowd and everyone in the place seemed to really be having fun. So just a matter of personal taste and maybe an unusual night?
