Amenities are lacking. In need of a REAL restaurant and bar. The cafe seems like an afterthought or someone afraid of investing in your customers leisure. The arcade is an absolute joke. You then want $1 to play? Make a true arcade for people to come and enjoy. Not a run down creepy room off the activity room. One elevator was not working. Luggage carts are trash. Everyone has flat tires and looks like its straight from the 60s. Pay attention to the details. This property could be so much better.

The view from the pool to the ocean was beautiful. Plenty of room in our condo. There was a nice swim up bar, but the staff was rarely there. Location to the main part of town wasnt too far. Just far enough where it was peaceful by the resort. Staff helped us find some restaurants to order delivery from.

We had a two bedroom suit and the people staying in the lockout part there got some odd bites. After a few days, we discovered it was bed bugs. The Cafe was nice to grab a snack, however, they were out of just about everything. We were able to order a few grilled cheese sandwiches, but they were all raw on one side. The swim up bar was barely open. plenty of people to serve, but staff was not available.They also kept running of of supplies. The windows on the backside of the resort by the pool had massive amounts of bird doodie plastered on them and looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Wasnt mush to do near the resort or places to eat. The main part of town wasnt too far, but far enough if you just wanted to go for a quick meal. No coffee spots close at all.

We were in the signature building on the beach. Location was great and room was extremely nice and comfortable.

The common areas felt wore out and tired. Infinity pool was not as nice as pictures and a bit older. There was a swim up bar that seemed to not have been used in a while.

I wanted better/closer access to the beach. I was placed in a unit that did not have an elevator and I'm handicapped and their best accommodation was up three floors. Staff did not show up to transfer luggage up 3 flights. Also towels were not replaced during my stay.

The villa was exceptional!! We were very comfortable and we loved being so close to the beach!! The pool had a beautiful view and we enjoyed the shade and sun!

This is our favor IHG/Vacation Club property. We have stayed that this location several times. We love being on the beachside.

When we first checked in we were given a room with a view of the the utility room. This was depressing as we pick this building for beach access. We did request another room and was told the manager would not be in until the following day however when we called the second time we were able to move to another room. The second room that we were moved to had to AC units that did not work efficiently. Although maintenance came and attempted to add more Freon to the AC the bedroom, living room and kitchen were hot during the entire stay. It didnt cool down until we were checking out. Its 100 in Galveston during this weekend so opening the doors wasnt an option. The resort was booked solid so we were trapped. We were miserable. Especially at nights. It was my birthday weekend so I was disappointed. Its was also peak season so we paid triple the amount we normally would.

We liked that our room had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had utensils and pots and pans that we needed to use for cooking.

When talking with staff about any issues their reply was "Sorry, there is nothing we can do, you booked through a 3rd party". We stayed 4 nights, 2 of those nights we didn't have AC. They did bring us a small cooler fan to use in our bedroom. The location has 2 cafes, but we were told we're were not allowed to use the second one because we didn't book "the right room". The cafe we had to use was out of everything and the fryer was down. We couldn't even get a suitable breakfast. The pictures on the property show the hotel and pool on the beach along with a fitness room, but again since we didn't "book the right room" we were unable to use those areas. Very unhappy with our stay.

Size of the condo was good. Had everything we needed.

It was dirty. Floor wasn't clean and bathtub was gross. When we turned the jets on the tub you could clearly see dirt coming out and it was all over the tub when the water was drained. Location wasn't what I expected and the website was very misleading about the pools and views. The pool we were able to use was dirty and more like bath water.

The property was nice and everyone was friendly. The pictures that are shown here are from the owners of times shares of holiday inns. You do not get to stay here or swim in the infinity pool or have a beach front view if you are not an owner.

That the room and amenities that I was shown are for owners and not just the average joe taking his family on a vacation. Images driving 14 hrs and getting a room other then what you had thought you had booked.

We enjoyed the activities available for our grandchildren, the layout of the condo and the water pressure from the shower!

Be presided to drive a minimum of 20 minutes back to the pier for restaurant selections! Also note cafe closes at 7 pm. Didnt like that there was nothing to rent for the beach, umbrellas, chairs, cabanas, tents would be great to rent!

Christian and Kimberly made our trip awesome!!! They felt like family and treated us like so!! The crew here absolutely made our trip memorable!!They helped keep the kids busy and kept us entertained. Knew where all the local good food was and tips to make our trip memorable! The perfect concierge!! The rooms were clean and beautiful view was perfect!! Friendly staff and they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just a short hop to the beach, the perfect view on a beautiful balcony. Covered parking was great. I felt safe the whole trip which was a huge plus. The pool is spectacular and the hot tub is amazing!! The beach is so clean and not over crowded!! Convenient elevator, wash station and drive! This is the hotel you want to stay at. Just book it, vip side, ocean view, go to the club house and ask for Christian, ask him for a drunken mermaid he'll smile and make you the best drink ever!! We WILL BE BACK!! The view, the service, and the rooms are 10/10 perfect!!

I liked that it was a little off the beaten path so everything wasnt crowded like it was in town.

I didnt like that the Signature pool, which was supposed to only be for signature guests, was open to everyone. No one was monitoring who was coming in and out. Same with the parking.

Hotel prepaid the stay which was not stated on website should have paid when you arrive, seaside pool was green and disgusting. Staff gave us arm bands for the hotel door to scan and not all of them worked. Charged me a 700 deposit up front for some reason and never release it until i called a day later. Employees at the seaside cafe were silly and unprofessional. Seaside pool was filled with people not from the hotel.

We liked everything about the property. We booked the signature villas (definitely worth it to be along the ocean instead of across the street). It was close to the ocean, with easy ramp access across a boardwalk. It had a wonderful pool, with an infinity section facing the ocean which was especially amazing in the evening. The staff in the coffee bar area were very helpful and friendly. We were given wrist band RFID key cards which were so much easier to keep track of while swimming! The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We had booked 3 rooms for our family of 16 (8 adults, 8 children). We hung out mainly in one room, the other 2 were for napping and/or getting away from the family noise.worked perfectly. 1 room was large enough for us all to mingle, play games, watch shows, eat, etc. The Putt-putt course was fun and clean, and interesting. Best Galveston family vacation yet, this was our 4th year to do this.

Only thing that I didnt like was, checkin was cumbersome, and there was a soft sell to listen to a presentation for more freebies, like a timeshare thing. I said no, and there was no further pressure, so only a little negative. This will not stop us from coming here again next year.

I loved the room, it was so quiet and peaceful. The staff at check in was super helpful. We checked in early and no problem whatsoever. Our room was so beautiful. If you want an ocean view the signature rooms are it. Even had robes and houseshoes for us. Top notch.

Only issue we had...and it is so petty I hate to mention it but want others to know if you spend money in the arcade..which my husband did...you may not get your prize that you win. He had put in over 20 bucks to win a nice set of earbids and did...but they wouldn't come down the shoot. The lady at Cafe said she could give us a buck refund..I would just loved for the owner of the machine to mail them to us...but she wouldn't take our address.

Beauty away from the crowds. Quite and peaceful mini golf was so fun!

Restaurant food was not very good. Bird poop on the glass, and the pool needed a bit of repair.

I liked the size of the apartment - and I liked the balcony and the beds were comfortable.

Musty smell immediately. No staff available after 11. We didnt have bedding for the pull out couch at all. No one answered at the front desk - just the security. We were not informed when we checked in at 10:30 that no one would be available. The main office was not well marked and we wasted time finding it. Everything was oddly set up. Shower head and controls was at far end of shower stall meaning you couldnt avoid getting wet when turning on shower. Shower head and kitchen sink faucet were not secure and moved into the wall/counter top and we were scared wed break them. The hotel is a 25 min drive to pleasure pier. Its well off the beaten path.

Property is clean and up to date.

The property is far from town. The property screwed the windows shut. One of our favorite things from a previous stay was having the windows open and listening to the ocean. We were very disappointed to see that the windows had been screwed shut

This resort has location as its most outstanding feature. The great view and spacious villa met all our familys needs. The living area and bedrooms were comfortable. Walk in showers helpful. The kitchen provided everything we needed to prepare meals.

I did not appreciate the pressure we experienced at check-in to schedule a tour of the facilities. The attitude change of the hostess after we refused to participate was unprofessional. After a 4+ hour car ride, the 30 minute check-in was ridiculous.

Very clean everyone was nice was a great experience. When we walk in the room we was blown away how spacious and nice everything was. Me in my family really enjoyed the stay. WILL BE BACK SOON!

Likes our room with kitchenette . Sitting area big bathroom

They charged us a 11 dollar fee that we did not know ahead of time. Think we payed a good price for the room that this was unexpected . Feel like this is not straightforward practice. They only mentioned it when checking out and not when we checked in
