We stayed during Thanksgiving week and new years the second time both times they kept $150 from my deposit the second time we stayed I asked the lady what would be the reasons for me not getting my deposit and she said it was totally refundable well I made sure I left everything clean and in it's place so I could get my deposit back and for NO reason they kept $150, the first time they kept over $150 the only thing we missed was taking swimming towels back that was about it so you pay $35 each day fee plus cleaning fee plus $150 extra for no reason that's why I didn't stay there for spring break

I have been staying at this hotel for 3 years and this last one was the worst experience I have ever had. I paid for a room with a sea view and the only thing I could see was a parking lot and restaurants. The sea was a very small area, I was on the second floor. The apartment was VERY DIRTY. I complained at the reception and they sent a team to clean it, which didn't do much good because it was really dirty and smelled of mold. I never want to stay at this hotel again. I went out because I had lots 2 see & do. Museums , Specific shops, crystal store, & a t shirt place who just happened 2 be a couple blocks from hotel. Then shower get ready to go out for coconut shrimp on the water. That bathroom was a dream come true! Soaker tub & rain shower.

Loved DJ played some my requests. Pool needed to be bigger. Or maybe have kids away from bar, have their own pool. (with chairs) Lot of guests standing. No where 2 sit unless at the bar. Families selfish with towels laying on chairs we could have sat on. Kids were in pool the whole time.

Spacious room, decoration, and quiet place. Very comfortable to access to the beach.

I found 3 main issues, 2 of them unacceptable. One was the quality of the mattresses, absurdly soft, I left with strong paint in my back. The other one was there is not a sofa minimally comfortable to watch TV. I watched TV sitting in a chair or laying down in the ground. These 2 issues are unforgivable in my opinion because make uncomfortable the whole experience. But to me, the worst part was the attitude of the hotel to try to help with them. They didn't do anything. They showed completely no interest in finding a solution. The third issue was the washing machine didn't work and I had to use a shared washing machine on another floor(because the one on my floor didn't work too), and of course I paid it apart. Again, I reported it but the hotel didn't do anything. Everything else was very good but these issues made my instance uncomfortable and I won't be back here. More important than every potential issue is the attitude to try to fix it and the interest of the hotel in this case was inexistent. I can't trust in a place with this attitude to help to solve any potential issue.

The location is excellent for access to the Hollywood Boardwalk and the rooftop bar made for a fun evening, though closing at 9 pm seemed a bit early! The registration staff person was lovely and helpful to direct us to an internal bridge to an adjoining building that did not require going back outside and dealing with stairs...again!

For starters...some external signage about WHERE to turn into the property to access Valet Parking...especially surrounded by one-way streets! I knew there was a fee for parking but NOT that it was ONLY valet. The Valet was not clear about providing directions to the lobby for check-in either due to attitude/and or language barrier and after a week on our trip...items were scattered throughout the car causing even more chaos! There are STAIRS up to the Lobby with only a hidden "medical lift" for handicap access, but certainly NOT what you would request to use for luggage convenience. Without clearer signage, I initially entered through other set of stairs on the opposite side of the driveway only to discover it was perhaps a "condo sales" side of the property??!? Back down the stairs to go up the other set of stairs..a VERY frustrating start to our one-night stay. While the $40 Resort fee was well defined, as a one-night stay, it was impossible to take advantage of most amenities so it would be nice if there was some sort of tiered fee option.
