We love Embassy Suites, we have stayed there many times. Location is great and the staff are very nice. We have 4 children and this is the best place to accommodate 6 of us comfortably.
The only thing I donโt like is that they have replaced many โfreeโ pool chairs with cabana style chairs and umbrellaโs that you need to pay for. Most of the cabanaโs were empty while we were there and people were struggling to find free chairs around the pool.
They really should remove these expensive cabana chairs and just put regular pool chairs and more free umbrellas around.
It is a very family friendly hotel and I donโt think we should have to pay extra for fancy pool cabanas and umbrellaโs.

Location was great - 1 block from beach, right next to restaurants and shops, free breakfast was amazing!!, the pool was great and had lots of shaded areas and a bar, evening reception was good, staff was all very friendly, valet was great and worth the price to just walk into the hotel. I would stay here again if we returned to Oahu.
Our only issue was sticky spots on the carpet in our room. They came up promptly to clean them when I called the front desk.

Some aspects of the rooms in particular the bathrooms were run down. The shower rail in particular was way too low. At the maximum height it would be suitable for a 5yr old.

THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED FROM EACH AND EVERY STAFF MEMBER WAS OUTSTANDING, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. LOCATION WAS VERY CENTRAL FOR US. BEACH WAS SO CLOSE. SHOPS JUST OUTSIDE THE DOOR. It does look a bit tired and faded. The pool is small and it did all feel very crowded. But the staff are universally good. However, there was a tsunami warning - the highest alert - and the hotel made no contact with guests at all. I would have expected a notice on the tv screens or tannoy , given that everyoneโs mobile phone was playing alerts telling us to move to safety. We were fine being in the 16th floor but for something so serious, there should have been messages to every guest directly.

The property was clean and had two rooms, so it was very spacious. The bed was great as was the location.
The shower curtain was a bit mouldy.
The main thing we didnโt like was there was no cutlery, crockery or even a coffee mug; only disposable paper cups. We had to go and buy them. As I am gluten-free and vegan, there was very little for breakfast I could eat, hence my need for a cereal bowl and spoon.

The rooms were smaller than other Embassy Suites I have stayed at. The towels were scratchy. It is really inconvenient that you are not able to check your bill online or on the app. I like to keep track of my charges. I had to ask for a print out each day.

Location was fantastic. Close to the beach. If you book a room on the higher floors, there is a fantastic view over the beach. Easy to access beach and local shops and facilities. There is not much more positive to say.
Biggest disappointment was breakfast. the facilities felt and looked more like a cheap school cantine, rather than a Hotel facility.
Guest services provided at the hotel were simply rude and poorly informed, ie we had a simple question about the local bus sevice and were told 'I don't work for the bus company, I can't help.

Also, all the staff there were always smiling and quick to respond, making us feel very comfortable.ใI will stay at the same hotel on my next trip to Hawaii. This time we stayed in the other tower directly over the pool. It was great. This room was a bit nicer and slightly larger so we fit in better. Good breakfast. Great pool. Loved happy hour. Nothing to complain about.
Not enough light and fresh options for breakfast. The bracelet you had to wear for happy hour was very annoying and most people forgot to wear it so itโs not a very good system.
