The bar tender on staff during our stay was friendly and made great cocktails. The reception staff were all friendly. The lobby was nice and the location was convenient.
The $67.50/night valet was significantly more expensive than I had expected, and the only other nearby parking garage was closed (to be fair, I could have checked the hotel’s website ahead of time). There is a $20 nightly nonrefundable “resort fee” which I found unreasonable due to the lack of a pool or spa; this can, however, be used towards food/drinks from the bar. The room was clean, but unimpressive; I’ve stayed in nicer LaQuintas. The bed was fine, but I wouldn’t call it comfortable. The TV had two vertical lines where pixels were going out and the wall art was an odd choice (a photo of a woman standing in front of a car and staring directly at the bed.)

the lobby scenery was nice and the area where the hotel was located was nice with everything at a close distance
it wasn’t clean. there were stains on the couches and i had to change my room 3 times for the couches being dirty and the curtains having stains on them. then after to getting to the final room the windows were still dirty and the fridge had mold in it. Also a cleaner walked in on me after i was telling them not to come into my room.

The location of this hotel perfect for those who want a city feel and views without being 100% in the mix of Downtown Houston. The room was large and easily fit two large suitcases, one carry on and two large backpacks. We didn't feel cramped in the space. We liked the restaurant options and bar that are on property which makes it easier to plan for breakfast, lunch, dinner or even a late night snack.
The bathroom shower curtain and a couple of the towels that were provided were stained which made us question cleanliness at the beginning but staff quickly refreshed our towels. The bathroom and carpet are outdated for the look and feel of the hotel and price but still nice overall.

Room next door had a dog they left alone for most of the day. Dog would bark and cry for hours, specially during night time. Reported it twice to front desk and best answer I got was “we’ll send someone up”. Nothing changed, until the owners returned about midnight. We had an early flight and ended up having a sleepless night.
Ordered room service twice. First time, our menu selection wan’t available. Second time, they sent me the wrong dish.
Bathroom needs to be retouched. Hardware on the shower is loose as well as the power outlet. Ceiling shows water damage.

The decor was absolutely beautiful, sleek and relaxing. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.
I was told by the kind valet attendant that I was supposed to have some sort of mini fridge in my room. The drawer we opened, if that's what was supposed to be the fridge, wasn't working. I like that it was close to downtown.
The rooms are small and my room was unclean. There was tissue stuffed into a hole above the shower. Blood stains were on my sheets, the bathroom floors, and the wall. There were holes in the sheets as well.
The breakfast included package only covers $30 per person, however they fail to mention that they add a $10 delivery fee and 15% gratuity so the value is only really about $10-12 before going over the allotted cost.
They also charge $62 a day for parking which is absurd!

The main restaurant is closed on the weekends so there’s actually no point. They charge you a separate destination fee to use a $20 “credit” and if you don’t use it they take it out of your deposit. I stayed for 3 nights and got charged an extra $100. They lie and say it’s a complimentary credit when in actuality you pare paying them to use your own money. Basically professional scammers, will never book with them again. Probably the worst version of a curio collection I’ve ever been to

Staff was very accomodating, specifically the concierge at the front desk who checked us in (I believe his name was James or Jesse). Also, the valet was very friendly, quick and accomodating as well.
The smell of whatever the maintenance crew used to clean the floors wasn't exactly pleasant to smell. I'd maybe try to use something more appealing in scent like citrus or lemon, or better yet a scentless cleaning product.

The hotel is beautiful. I utilized the gym and it was well maintained. The bed was very comfortable as well
I was very hungry once I checked in and asked about room service. The food looked great but when I was trying to call, the calls would not go through. I ended up having to call the front desk and the woman I spoke to placed me on a “brief hold” which turned into 15 minutes. It took 30 minutes to get ahold of someone and when I was able to get ahold of him, at the end of the call, I said “thank you” and he said “uh huh”. Rude. I work in hospitality and it was not polite at all. Guess how long it took for the food to come? Another 30 minutes. Also… don’t get food to your room. It’s so complicated to order and they charge $10 “delivery fee” on top of already ridiculously priced food.
I also was shocked to not find the room stocked with an iron. I was there on business and had to go to the front desk to ask for one. Very frustrating
One more thing.. they stated I had access to “free WiFi” which in fact was not true. I tried multiple times to connect and even asked for assistance and it never worked. You have to pay $15 for WiFi. Ridiculous. I travel all the time all over the US and internationally and never pay for WiFi. It’s already expensive to stay here, why would you make us pay? Just because you want us to be Hilton Honor Members?

the breakfast was ok..but rhe restaurant were nor open.
i think some body neef to check the rooms make sure everything work properly..when i get my room i notice somethings are not working properly like the minicooler in the room were not working and smelly.the outlet in the restroom was broke.good thing was the staff move me to a diferent room right away after i report it...thats is a plus.
