I loved the space of the rooms. I was on the highway side of the hotel but didn’t hear any road noise at all! Which was amazing! The bar and bartenders were amazing as well. Clean and very quiet hotel. Really loved the valet service that was offered.
Only thing I can say I didn’t like, was the shower head and water pressure. Everything else was truly amazing.

It's a cute hotel, with nice touches and artistic pieces every where. It's reasonably clean and comfortable. Breakfast is order style and was good. Overall it's a good place to stay but we had issues with AC in the room which made sleeping difficult.
The first room, the bathtub leaked. We told them about it, and came back to still finding it leaking. Someone took a shower and couldn't get the water to be a good temperature, it was either scalding hot or cold. We called and they switched our room. This was at 10 at night. The other room it turned out the AC in the room didn't work. We went to bed right away so didn't have a chance to test it before the night and all woke up several times due to the heat. The next morning when we told them, all they said was oh sorry.

The room I got was big.
They did not clean the rooms every day. I stayed 3 days without my room being cleaned. They never picked up the phone when I needed something. Only the breakfast is working and not the restaurant.

The suite was large and beautiful. The hotel itself is gorgeous.
Valet is too expensive. Rooms need some upgrading especially the Wrangler suite. The deposit of $100 per day is ridiculous. Higher end hotel chains don’t even charge that. They do $50-$75 for the entire stay. So your locking up someone’s extra money they need to enjoy the town.

I liked the proximity of the hotel to Galleria Mall and to other parts of the city.
The carpet of the entire floor smelled like marijuana. The bathroom was absolutely filthy. With hair on the shower walls from previous hotel guests and a dirty rim in the toilet and tub. The shower leaked all night and the reception did nothing about it.

Nothing stood out to me on went well. Looks like Hotel is close to closing. No staff around. No cleaners.
Room cleanliness was very poor. I stayed 4 days and not once did they clean my room. After i complained they then told me i have to call reception each day if i want room cleaned! Really!

The location is the only thing this hotel has going that is positive. The only helpful person was the valet, he was great and polite.
This isnt the Derek I remember,property in decline, staff dont care,housekeeping is only available upon request and when they do come,they just leave towels and toilet paper.Beds were only made on once,ridiculous amenity fee for what?Never again!!!!!!

FILTHY! It looked nothing like the photos. All of the trendy furniture is gone. There are stains on all of the furniture and carpet that remains. Mold growing on the ceiling of the bathroom. No working elevator. Hotel stated photos of were 12 years old.

I came in on Saturday and it was quite bustling with the Houston livestock show and rodeo going on...
The hotel is horribly loud, slamming of doors from 2 am til I left around 8 am...My next door neighbors came in around 4 am was really loud, laughing and partying...I was highly disappointed especially as expensive it was...$30/night overnight parking...

An individual and quirky hotel very conveniently placed for my visit to Houston. Reception staff were excellent, bar staff did a great job and the lady in charge of breakfast started my mornings with a good coffee and great plate of All American breakfast... Delighted to find the place completely by chance.

The Wifi was strong and the staff was friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and checkout. Check out is 11am but check in is not til 4pm. No vending machines to get a bottle of water or juice if you want one late at night. Only 2 small bottles of water provided for a 4 day stay. TV was wonky. The bed and pillows were as hard as a rock! No comforter--just thin blankets. Very disappointing.
Read the fine print before reserving. Hotel offers free breakfast but then charges you $20/fee daily as a management fee. Scam! Also this property is in desperate need of renovations. Everything is old and cracked.The towels and shower were absolutely terrible. The restaurant food was tolerable with limited offerings. This is not even one star above Hampton Inn. I was really surprised and disappointed.

The common areas of the hotel were nice, staff was friendly, and food was great.
This is not a 4 star hotel. The sheets are dingy, towels are threadbare, and the room was outdated. I am disappointed that I believed the rating and booked the hotel thinking I would have nice accommodations. Holiday Inn Express would be a better option.

The staff from the valet to check in was superb! Everyone met you with a smile and was willing to assist! Our view was nice. We saw a beautiful skyline. Our bed was soft.
The location is prime in regard to being close to everything BUT the traffic you have to face to get to the hotel THEN the people that blatantly REFUSE to left you cross the lane to enter the property, it’s stressful! The bathroom had a rusted/peeling drain in the tub. The water can’t be running in the sink while you’re in the shower or your shower will be cold. The bathroom vent was DUSTY. There was discoloration on the wallpaper in the bathroom. The elevators were rickety and the interior could have been updated as it too is peeling in some. I called and asked for an extra pillow and blanket, overnight staff informed me housekeeping would bring it up and they NEVER did. I waited for an hour.

I did not stay at this property due to the bathrooms. I was assigned three different rooms with disgusting tubs. They were unclean and when asked for assistance i was given an even dirtier bathroom. I checked out within the hour because i had a function to attend and i needed to shower.

The location was good nothing was far at all
The $100 price deposit per night instead of overall, I even asked on the phone before driving hours to come stay. The toilet you had to flush 3-5 times before it flushed completely, it also had trash inside the bowl. The shower head water pressure was very weak and the sink faucet had overly hot temp water coming out. No microwaves in the room or available in the facility for usage. The ice machines on the 3rd, 6th & 9th floor didn’t work the entire duration of our stay. None of this hotel was worth 1.1k for a stay inside the rooms paint was chipped and looked very cheaply painted over instead of actually fixed and repaired.

Room was sup par, paint peeling and chipped thought out room, the bathtub looked dingy with stains, ceiling paint was horrible in bathroom, only 1 plug next to night stand, and I couldn’t figure out how to close the automatic blinds. There was no button, remote or anything anywhere! I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it. The rooms need to be completely renovated. I called ahead to see if there were mini fridges in all rooms before booking and was told yes they r available in all rooms and upon checkin was informed there were only fridges in certain rooms so I was lied to. Fortunately, the hotel reception was kind enough to store my items in the fridge in the back so I was thankful however staff needs to give accurate information before guest make reservations when asked about amenities.

When we got our rooms. There was one of them occupied and no one knew. So we got the key and there was other guests inside our room... And In 4 days there.. Both of our rooms were never cleaned even after asking every day!
