Bed was comfortable.
Chaotic check in, one person on check in and he was very slow, queuing for ages. Didn't get the standard of room specified on my booking. The last photo is the standard of room I booked a King handicapped with sofa bed. What I got was standard King double which is a cheaper room category and had no disabled friendly facilities. We had travelled 17 hours in total and didn't have the energy to attempt a complaint at the time.

The property and room were excellent . The rooms were very nice .
1) they sprung a 100.00 deposit on us when we showed up to get our keys. We had no notice that it would be due. We had paid in advance. 2) No smoking on the property. Had to leave the property to smoke. I can understand the room or buildings but the whole property. They had a very large property where they could have had a designated smoking area. The area we had to go smoked was outside a gate that had to be opened by the front desk. It was next to a very busy and active bar. It was an unsafe location .

The property was beautiful.
The property had no hot water. When I stayed in June 2024, there was no cold water! The room had NO plugs. Screaming all hours of the night. The only place to plug in coffee machine was in the bathroom and the cup overflowed! I was woken up at 5 am from another guest calling the room yelling at me about no hot water. When I told the front desk, they didn’t know how my room was called. Prior to our trip the phone wouldn’t work. And booking.com had a problem getting through to front desk as well! I’ve stayed at this property multiple times since and during Covid. We’ve had problems but this was out of control! I will never stay here again!

I wish I could have stayed longer. I now you can't control the rain. lol. I felt safe with the gated entrance. I didn't like my view facing another hotel.

The location, service and breakfast was wonderful. It was gated so it was safe. It was a non-smoking property which I loved. Check-in was easy and very friendly. The breakfast was very tasty and a very nice dining room. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We liked the rainhead shower in the bathroom and the double sinks.
The hardwood floors in the room are very dirty. They turned our feet black. There was a couple dirty spots on our bath towels. They smelled clean, but it just looks like it was a stain that they could not get out so we ended up using the hand towels to dry off with.

It was a last minute business booking that is close to where I needed to be the next day. Checked in and my room looked 10 times cleaner newer and better online than in person. The couch was dirty color with stains on it. The room did not smell fresh. Bathroom was very clean.
The bed looked like it was made, but not until I open the covers after dinner and sheets were wrinkled and there many long Black strands of hair. It did not smelled fresh. I called downstairs and no one picked up. It was about 9pm, I caught a nice staff member told him I needed house keeping help. He said they left for the day, so he gave me sheets and comforter that I made myself. I did not sleep well and was tired from work and I checked out peacefully the next day no drama as I did not want to waste my valuable time to complain and tell staff.
Breakfast included is a nice touch, breakfast room is nice but felt like a loud hectic cafeteria. The little hammocks, the pool and deck by water looks great, just did not have time to enjoy. Would I return again? Most likely not since it seems more family friendly than business friendly and am now afraid to get a dirty room again lol

The positive side is that the breakfast was good and the room was clean.
Important tip: when you arrive, ask how to enter because the signage is confusing. You have to enter through a gate by ringing a bell, and it is not well marked.
The Palazzo Lakeside hotel has some good points, but also things that need improvement.
In room #230, the air conditioner was very noisy, which was annoying, and the TV had no available channels to watch.

Minor (very minor) breakfast is a bit limited, what's there is good but need to make the waffle station (there are 3 machines), more efficient, its always a back up. Also the toasters are really slow. Theres also no orange juice...
Again minor points, what they have is good, but a couple of small tweaks would make it really good.

Complimentary breakfast was good but it so crowded wherein we ended eating standing up on the side where we can’t bother other people, but the main thing where able to have breakfast before we lived since it’s too cold outside.
Our room was quite noisy maybe because where at the end and we heard banging on the wall or roof considering it’s too windy outside and also the aircon has after noise when the fan was off everytime adter running the heat.

Location is very close to the Magic Kingdom, so many restaurants and gift shop around the hotel. Very comfortable bed, clean room and nice selection of breakfast. We really like that they close the gate at night, safe place.
