Wish I got a better view. I got room 204 and the view was the parking lot
The "first come first serve" policy for luggage storage which is inaccurate. They claim everyone has to remove their stuff at 6pm and the next day at 11am is when the lockers are available. That was not true. People left their stuff in the lockers overnight, which didn't allow for me to check my stuff in at 11am (I waited well before 11am in the lounge and no one came to retrieve their things or put them in the locker, meaning they were there overnight)
Also, the company should invest in updating the bathrooms to match the aesthetic of the apartments

Way bigger than what I expected. A large studio apartment with all the amenities when you know you wont be spending lots of time in your room. Kasa was very quick to respond to any issues via whatsapp. Perfect for a work trip.
I had not received check in instructions for one of our rooms so make sure you have all of you pre check in forms sorted. It is very noisy as the building is on a busy road but didnโt bother us too much. There is also a guaze on the windows to keep sunlight out but made it a little dark. Parking is expensive so we had to move the car around the block to avoid spending loads on parking However, I would still stay here again.

Modern apartment in Hollywood. Has gym and also laundry, which is helpful.
They advertised a nice room with view. When we entered the apartment we were on a very low floor. It literally felt like sleeping on the street, the noise was unbearable. When contacting staff they were nice, but made very clear that they would not do anything. Amenities are good, but very stingy on kitchen and bathroom accessories. Garage price of USD 55 per night is simply too expensive and was not advertised transparently on the site. No flexibility to grant the weekly price of USD 200 for a 4 nights stay. Lack of flexibility very disappointing. There are better options for the price so would not recommend to anyone. Our worst stay during our road trip in California.

The apartment/room inside was very nice, spacious, modern and well appointment, and it was good to have the gyms and lounge facility.
The central Hollywood location is on the main Sunset Blvd strip, good location to go in different directions around LA e.g more east side, downtime, or up to Griffith Observatory, or then more West. However itโs not really an area where you would hang out or spend time in the surroundings, my driver from the airport warned me not be out late in the surrounding area.
The whole self check in side of things is good if it all works but when it doesnโt it makes things difficult, especially with delayed responses from any Kasa staff, and never able to reach anyone on the phone, only eventually on the chat but that was delayed and very frustrating when access codes werenโt working and I was trying to retrieve my luggage before heading to the airport.
I also didnโt notice until the end of my trip this Proposition 65 warning sign hiding down my the front door warning of exposure in the area to chemicals that that cause cancer and birth defects. I tried to ask on this but wasnโt able to get a response on what this specifically relates to.

Aparment was a bit noisy, the sound-proofing of the windows is not fully proper. Parking is just too expensive (55 USD/night).

Really nice large studio room apartment with kitchen lounge and separate bathroom and walk in robe. Nice extra touches - including providing coffee, oil, salt and pepper. Very clean.
The black-out film on the window made it feel slightly apocalyptic. Hard to tell what the weather was like outside and made the room a little depressing. When the wind was strong there was a high pitched whistling - although they did provide ear plugs - which is another nice touch.

Well equipped, spacious apartment with loads of amenities included. On Sunset Blvd so within walking/uber distance of all Hollywood sights, 15 minutes to the Griffith Observatory, 45 mins to DTLA & 45-60minutes from the beach.
Apartment felt safe and secure despite not having a reception or check in area.
Perfectly safe at night also, I was a solo traveller and didnโt once feel unsafe even at night
Would of been nice to have been able to select a room on a higher floor as my view was of an empty parking lot next door (3rd floor) TV had cable but all the streaming services required to be logged in and basic apps like Youtube werenโt installed so couldnโt use it without a passcode.

The view to the netflix building is very cool - if you are into it

I think the entire stay was great! Easy access with codes, felt safe and secure. Great punctuality with the Kasa Sunset hotel assistance via WhatsApp. If you ever had any questions theyโd respond very quickly. The facilities such as fitness center, lounge, concierge were all very neat. I loved the space and atmosphere of my studio apartment! The views are great especially with the LA weather, lots of work space in the apartment so I could utilise it. TV and setup with sofas were great for myself as a content creator. I felt it was really good value for what I paid.
Iโd say the only issue was during the heap of rain there was a little leak, but that wasnโt something LA is built for.

If there was a breakfast I did not realize that or partake in it. I liked that there were laundry services available. The accommodations were nice and the noise machine being available was a must due to the plane traffic.
I did not like that you could not take photographs out of the windows due to the window covering. The fact that I was not able to interact with staff in person other than the security guard was very disconcerting. I was told the thermostat was self explanatory and it definitely was not. A manual should be available or instructions posted on the wall. I did not like how long it took for the lock to engage when you were leaving. If you were in a hurry it would be easy for someone to enter after you exited and before the lock engaged. Where you were supposed to park was definitely not clear. The garage parking associated with the building should be more clear. Also there were gate problems entering and exiting the surrounding the building while I was there and you had to seek out the security guard to get out.

Coffee table in the dining room which I did not touch was found broken, for which I have to pay for, I am an exceptionally neat and value driven person, one who has travelled all over the world (from Paris, Italy, South Africa, Central Africa...just to name a few) and never once got accused or banned from any place which I have travelled to. This feels like an assault on my character and no phone call was offered to me to understand what happened, I did not touch the coffee table, moreover, i spent most of my days outside of the apartment. I am NOT happy with this and I will not rest until I get an explanation.

For travelers who cook, a kitchen is an essential option. The kitchen facilities provided by Kasa are excellent, but the biggest drawback is the lack of a range hood. Additionally, the smoke detector is located directly above the kitchen, which is quite dangerous. It is recommended to install a range hood to prevent accidentally triggering the fire alarm.

The size of the apartment is great. They provide a full kitchen with coffee, tea, salt and pepper, and cooking oil. That was a nice bonus!
I wish there were apartments with two bedrooms, or multiple beds. The sofa bed is not great.

Loved the apartment we stayed in overall! The facilities were clean and the staff worked with me to make sure we got our place cleaned up before the end of the trip. Very responsive staff for questions throughout your stay! Security was present overnight which was comforting. Felt very homey! The only thing that was disappointing was that our windows were covered by some sort of tint/film. Iโm not sure what it was from but that wasnโt how the windows were advertised. I wish our view was better, but again, that was all which isnโt too bad! Good stay!

It was clean and spacious, thoughtful touches like earphones and cookies on arrival.
The neighbourhood felt very unsafe. There were strong smoking smells on our level and we felt unsafe with our young daughter. The air con did not work properly and the pull out sofa was very uncomfortable. It was obviously an old warehouse or factory that has been converted to residences. This property may be good for a single or couple, but DO NOT recommend for a stay with young children!!

The packets of ear plugs at the side of the bed was a bad indicator, if you used to sleeping in what sounded like an air craft hanger you'll be fine. Very very noisey during the night, air conditioning though out the building so loud & if your next to elevators sounds like aircraft going above your heads, will not be back here in a hurry!!

Great location the universal studio! We luckily got a room on high level, so the view is great. Everything in good condition and clean. Kitchen is very well equipped.
Facilities are a bit old. The parking garageโs door was broken during our stay.

Considering it is a virtual front desk, there are some limitations such as access to staff and delay in getting a response. My main challenges was luggage storage after check out. All the lockers were occupied early in the morning, even before storage hours.

The property felt secure and was in reasonable walking distance to stores and restaurants. My room was spacious and clean and I appreciated the free access to the washer and dryer in the building and the staffโs responsiveness.
The lighting in the room was a bit dim for me and the thermostat didnโt seem to work.

The views from this apartment were stunning. Bed was super comfortable. Lots of towels. Loved having a full-size kitchen.
Why would you have an oven and no oven mitts? To me this is a safety issue. I had to use dish towels to get stuff out of the oven. Frustrating to lose hot water two different days.

Itโs essentially an airbnb-esque apartment with a full kitchen, stay was mostly comfortable in that regard.
Parking was *expensive* at $55/night, and I didnโt discover this until *after* I booked the room and was on my way there. It increased the nightly rate by 1.5x, so what I thought was a reasonable deal turned out to be more ritzy. Thatโs ok, maybe itโs a high quality hotel and itโs worth it.
But then you go into the room and find that THE WINDOWS ARE COVERED BY AN AD ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING. Not only does this block the view, but it also blocks natural light from getting into the unit, and you have to keep the lights on during the day.
Lastly, there was a ton of noise from the streets and nearby highway, and also some construction job that went on past midnight. Which maybe could be fine since youโre on Sunset in Hollywood after all EXCEPT YOU CANโT EVEN SEE OUT THE WINDOW BECAUSE THEREโS AN AD ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
Maybe ads are acceptable because it makes your stay more affordable, but this plus combined with the surprise parking expense just felt sleazy.

I like how easy was to check in, the hotel is super cute and overall nice. Our room floor was a bit dirty but not a big deal. The location was awesome, we attended a concert at La Fonda Theater and it was 13 min walking distance which was pretty convenient, also tons of options to eat. The room is pretty spacious and overall the place is in really good conditions. I would recommend.
The staff that received us was a bit condescending to me and my daughter but the security staff were really nice and more helpful than the other staff there. The instructions for parking arenโt clear, thankfully we ran into a guest that was kind enough to help us get into the parking lot. Other than that I have no complaints.

The building is in a good location- the walk to the Metro station was about 10-15min! Our room was awesome with a comfy bed, good AC, and a TV and Kitchen to enjoy. The kitchen was awesome as we could make our own breakfast before going out for the day. The only upgrade we would have enjoyed would be to have a coffee machine in the room so you could make Coffee with Breakfast. There is a Target 10min walk away for any simple needs which was very convenient! The room was quiet at night and the Gym facilities were a bonus!!

The place is very well located, the building is new, and the staff is truly very attentive. It is close to large stores such as Target, as well as gas stations and restaurants.
The only point to be aware of is the parking, as the daily rate is quite expensive.

Very noisy! It was billed as a quiet hotel, but it's on the corner of a very busy intersection and was very loud.
Also, the "seamless" virtual aspects were very cumbersome and a huge headache. Very hard to find someone to help.

Location is at a crossing which is very loud in the morning. Cars are honking all the time.
Also the air conditioning is way to noisy during the night. On top, you canโt full darken the apartment one window remains without shades which is uncomfortable in the morning.
