The property was super clean, there was always cleaners everywhere. The location is amazing, is on the street corner so if you stay at the same street you have the metro red line civil centre and if you go down the street you have the metro yellow line. The metro takes you everywhere and the fair is cheap $1.75 per trip. The hotel is very near central market, that was good for breakfast. And there's a cafe next to the hotel, it was good too. I didn't feel unsaved on that street at all. All homeless people are on the way walking to the fashion district, i think st pedro street. Overall i did enjoy my stay. Thank you Kawada

The hotel is central to downtown LA, close to the Metro (Historic Broadway) and close to the Grand Central Food Hall
It was a great base for our trips to Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Hollywood - all super easy to access by the Metro

Good location near several metro stations. Also proximity to little Tokyo was nice with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The room itself was clean and the beds were fine. Bathroom was a little run-down, but okay.
Value for money was kind of low, you can find better prices on the hotel website. Do not use the valet parking as you can get cheaper parking ($10 per 8 hours) right next door.
Staff entered and cleaned the room despite the "do not disturb" sign being up.
The worst part was on our second night the bar on the floor below was playing loud party music until about 1am! The bass was literally shaking our beds. We called the lobby but they said they couldn't do anything about it.

The location is the real bonus of this hotel. Walking distance to MOCA, the Broad, LA Phil and right by two subway stations.
It is really just a 2 star hotel rather than a boutique hotel. Rooms were really small but actually nicely refurbished. Hotel really has no facilities just a rather boring lobby. Actually overpriced for what it offers.

The service was really great, staff provided great recommendations for food as we were new to LA.
The room was poorly sound proofed, we could hear the street traffic and noise all night making it hard to sleep. The shower also took 10 minute to heat up.

Not the hotel’s fault, but the bar/restaurant on the corner directly under our room was rented out for a couple of hours by a group of college students, who turned it into a loud night club. All over by midnight but there’s no way we could have slept if we turned in early.

The location is perfect for moving around LA. Located so close to Metro D and B line is very convenient. The room is very nice and cozy. I love the fridge and microwave combo provided. The hotel staff are so helpful and friendly. Love the hotel a lot.

The location was good and it was quite quiet. It's great to have a microwave and a fridge in the room.
The entrance looks renovated but the room and the hallway look a bit shabby. We couldn't even open the window so it felt pretty stuffy in the room. Most of the drinks including water in the vending machine was sold out. There was no store around to get a bottle of water nearby so it was inconvenient.

Overall, the hotel is well kept and clean, the rooms are on the small side but super cozy, with all the comforts and products you’ll need during your stay, it’s a cosmopolitan feeling in there. The location is next to Grand Central Market with so many dining venues to choose from. On the same block you have late night bars and clubs to go to. Within a mile you will find theaters that feature many nightly shows. Metro Train Station across the street.
Hoping their restaurant would stay open past 7 pm and open seven days a week.

We wanted to take the stairs up to our room but it seemed impossible. It was annoying to have to wait for the elevator all the time. The bathrooms were a bit outdated, and we found a cockroach.
