The location was great as we could walk outside and go directly to see the walk of the stars and other attractions.
We absolutely hated the small room and although the beds were comfortable, we kept stubbing our toes on the corners of the bed and it hurt our toes several times and pissed us off. We eventually had to put our backpacks in front of each of the 2 center end corners of the bed to save our toes. Ridiculous!!!!!

Location was excellent. Staff very attentive and helpful. Bed and pillows were among the best I have tried in a long time!
Ambiance at the pool was also very nice, specially for breakfast.
Food at restaurant 25 degrees wasn’t the best. No many alternatives to choose there.
The corridors that lead to the rooms were to dark for me.

Absolutely loved the location! You are right in the center of all the action! There were lots of events happening at the hotel and even people coming to hang out at the different bars available at the hotel. Awesome place!
The room size was small, just enough space to walk around the bed. There was no dresser to organize your clothes so we just lived out of our suitcases for the week. Also, the lighting throughout the hotel was very dim and only one elevator was working.

This stay the elevators were not working so we were forced to share with the staff access elevator. Check in took 30 minutes and room was smallest we have experienced at this hotel, even though it was a queen superior.

We were only in town for one night and wanted to go to Musso & Frank which is just a few blocks down the street, so the location was perfect. My previous visits to the Roosevelt were as a restaurant/bar patron, and I liked its quiet sophistication amid all the Hollywood Boulevard clamor. Staff kindly greeted us and were very gracious getting us settled.
Unfortunately for us the hotel was engaged for a large, loud party that compromised our experience. The party goers were having a great time, though! We could barely hear each other talking— shouting over our after dinner drinks. Also, this was our first time actually staying at the hotel, and were surprised how small our “premium queen” room was. This bed is a double at best.

The staff was amazing and super helpful! The lobby is stunning and the pool had a fantastic vintage Hollywood feel!
We had a couple of drinks by the pool and the avacado and the bill was $74. The issue was the food was super spicy (I could not finish mine) which was not indicated on the menu. There was also a $13 service fee. After that and tip it was over $100. Our room was small yet comfortable but decorated in modern farmhouse which felt odd.

Bell boy was nice on day 1.
Lobby closed first day for an event, pool closed last day early without prior warning for an event. Seem to value the customers for events more than the people staying there.
Lift broke down at least three 3 times in our 4 days there.
Dirty room and floors of bathroom disgusting.
Staff mostly don't seem to care and have a chip on their shoulder.

The Roosevelt is a historic hotel with respectful renovations that honor its original architecture. Checkin, valet, room service, and housekeeping were all outstanding. The pool is beautiful and warm.
Checkout did not go well, which was surprising after everything else had exceeded expectations. The room faced Hollywood Blvd, which is exciting for the views, but loud due to audio from electronic billboards - not the hotel's fault, but still a bit annoying. The room also seemed to have an exceptionally loud cooling system. Due to the hectic schedule of the visit, we were not able to chase the issue down with maintenance, and bought earplugs to manage it.

We had informed the hotel that we were coming with our 8 year old daughter as the third guest in the room but neither her bed sheets nor any towels were there for the third guest when we arrived. Would expect these to be sorted before we got the keys to our room at this price level.

Check in was great. The lobby and restaurants were beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the cleaning staff were expert.
The design of the room was not good. The bed had four large posts that nearly touched the ceiling, one of which obscured the flatscreen tv on the wall. It was not possible to view the tv from any angle in the room without the obstruction. A normal bed with no posts would solve the issue. The air conditioning worked well, and cooled the room when needed but the noise from the air conditioning was too loud and rattled. In the bathroom, the tiny, child sized toilet was not adequate for a grown adult.

I loved the pool area and spent most my time there. I thought the location was great. Having the parking lot across the street was great to save on valet. Valet too expensive for people staying there. The room was nice.. really no complaints. Very cool Old Hollywood vibe. Check in was great...lobby bar was great...The Pool is definitely the highlight. The bar food and drinks at pool area great and the Rose cafe for breakfast.
Would have been nice to have an early- 6-8 am coffee service in the lobby. I did not like the feel of the dinner in front... did not feel clean like the cafe by the pool. The cafe by the pool did not serve free coffee till 8 am.

We liked the pool area, the history of the hotel, and the byredo products in the room.
We didn’t like that the elevators were broken and took us 20 minutes every time we needed to go to our room on the 3rd floor. No stairs available so we were forced to wait. Extremely frustrating. The Latin Film Festival was taking place and the lobby was so packed we had to walk through a mob to get to the elevator and then had to wait 20 minutes to take the elevator. Woke up multiple times in the night to loud noises outside the room. Washroom floor in the room was dirty. Room was much smaller than expected from online photos. Very crowded.
