The staff and the location (within walking distance of the beach) were great!
Firstly, the fact that our door did not work properly. We had to get new keycards almost daily*. The staff promised us that we would be able to switch if we wanted. When we asked to switch rooms, they kept offering suggestions we didn’t want. Secondly, Be aware that the hotel is located inside a bar, which has loud music playing in the evening/night. Additionally, the air conditioning was surprisingly loud which made sleeping hard.

Location was great. Very close to the beach, pretty much in the middle of the strip.
The hotel is old and needs to be upgraded. The locks do not function properly. I had to swipe my key card 10-15 times to get it open. I spoke to another guest, and they had the same problem. So bad they had to switch rooms. There were a lot of flying bugs/ beetle insects. Mainly in the bathroom, but I started to see them everywhere by the end of my stay. They do not have a front desk in the building. You have to go across the street for assistance. It is no good if you have any type of health condition and are staying alone. So imagine if you are locked out of your room on the top floor. Oh, and no elevator, so pack light.

Front desk and housekeeping staff was friendly. Location is great.
We had many problems. Firstly I was charged $15 on my account by the hotel and I wasn’t sure why so I called. After multiple attempts to reach the hotel by phone I gave up. Nobody picks up and the call does get transferred. Automated message says to wait on the line and then nothing happens. So no way for me to ask what was the transaction for.
Next, last night of our stay the room next to ours had a very loud fight. I think they were drunk or something. It was between 3am-4:30 am.. They were screaming and then one of the guys was in the hall BANGING on our door, we were terrified. I know that fights between guests can happen in any hotel. But. Nobody stopped them for over an hour and most of the time on of the guys was in the hallway banging on doors. What a nightmare. Next morning I addressed it with the front desk lady as we were checking out. She was not apologetic at all, in fact completely indifferent and disinterested- she didn’t care, it was very upsetting.
We didn’t use the wet bar in the room but looked at bottles out of curiosity. Some drinks were over a year expired. The air conditioning in the room was awful, no fans at all, just AC by the window blowing air.
Ultra loud music on the first floor is blasting at night. We could hear it on the third floor in one the farthest rooms down the hallway, I can only imagine how loud it was inside the first floor rooms.
I don’t like leaving bad reviews. I tried fixing it with them, but their complete unavailability by phone, mystery transaction on my account, late night violent prolonged argument near our room, and front desk person’s complete indifference to it did it for me. One star. Will choose a different hotel next time.

The only good I can say about this hotel is location, 3 min walk from the beach
The front desk lady literally walked out of the building while she was checking me in! I was after 9 hours flight and only I wanted is to get to my room and rest!
She wanted to charge me deposit twice.
No hot water.
The most uncomfortable bed I ever sleep on.
Door cards got demagnetized if they were close to your phone. And of course I had them in one bag and had to stress out about that all the time! Because once you got to your room, find out your cards not working and you have to go to the front desk which is CROSS the street and few time I had to make it twice because cards were still not working after they programmed them.
My room door was broken and they refused to change my room, but next day they did.

The room did not have a coffee/tea Maher as you advertised on booking.com. And after I finally checked in which tool 40 minutes the bathroom ceiling was leaking and the room was not cleaned during my entire 4 night 5 day stay so I would like some compensation.

The location.
The sheets were not fully clean when I arrived. They only left 2 towels in the room, the phone in the room was not working if you needed help. You had to go across the street to check in and/or call the number there to get any form of help. The staff acted like you were Oliver Twist if you dare asked for more towels , wash cloths or any essentials. I asked for extra rolls of toilet paper because we only had one in the room and they literally gave me one roll then wrote it down that they gave it to me. There was no peep hole on the room door so you had no clue if a murderer or the housekeeper was at your door. The room key never worked and we constantly had to go across the street for them to reactivate it. The carpets smelled terrible as if they just sprayed perfumes to cover up a musty smell. The music downstairs was so loud that our walls were vibrating until 3am. There were not enough hooks in the bathroom, literally one garbage can in the entire room and not an extra chair to put your bags on.

Location- round the corner from Lincoln road. Very pretty road, full of restaurants. Lovely atmosphere.
Extremely expensive for what we got.
When we booked, we didn't find anything cheaper for the location we were looking for, but for the price we paid, we expected 'better'.
The room wasn't bad as such, but the paint....... omg.
Whoever painted that room should have done a more professional job for the money it's worth.
They just served cold water and hot coffee (nothing special) at the lobby for bfast.

Cute lobby/bar area. My room was clean and a good size for 1 person. It’s in the middle of the south beach area so easy walk to the beaches and other venues.
The carpeting in the lobby and hallways is quite old and doesn’t appear clean (due to stains , I saw them clean it every day). I think the overall feeling of cleanliness and vibe of the hotel would much improve if that was made to hardwood or carpeting was replaced. I also did not like that I could not contact the front desk by phone , as they didn’t pick up when I tried to call.

There was no correspondence about my late arrival with the property, despite reaching out several times.
When I got there, my door would not open and they told me someone would handle it in the morning.
Every time I needed to leave the room and come back in I had to get somebody to let me in which was the maintenance staff that was never on site so they always had to come back and I always had to wait.
They decided to check me out Saturday so all day Sunday they were knocking on the door telling me that I was checked out when I had paid through Sunday.

I read reviews online and they weren't great so I was a little nervous but I'm glad we ended up staying. Our room was BEAUTIFUL, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
It was hard to get in contact with staff on the phone,all the phone numbers I called went to like an old fax extention or just didn't connect. I finally got a hold of someone through email. They did take care of what I needed so no problems.

There is no elevator. The room is so narrow that the door hits the bed when it opens. The rooms are not designed for 4 people. There is no space to turn around! The first room was much larger than the second, although we took the same rooms with 2 standard beds. There was no closet in our room, no place to put a suitcase! Although there was a closet in the other room. Very interesting.

Hotel location is superb- one block away from Ocean Drive. Took less than 5 mins to be on the beach. Hotel exterior is lovely and the hotel is clean and tidy. The room booked had 2 double beds and space was tight but expected. The bathroom was a good size as was the wardrobe. Good mini fridge with reasonable drinks prices, but 7/11 and other convenience stores / markets were less than a few minutes walk away. Staff were incredibly helpful and overall had a great stay.
The hotel is stunning and has made good use of original features such as marble in the bathrooms- but it means there is no extractor fan in the room- this made the room very humid after showering and when we came home at night the bedding felt a little damp.

There was no breakfast. I stayed there before had a bathroom window break and cut my foot. The management promised to offer a suite since they would not refund me which is insane. They eventually reneged of their offer and dis not accommodate all while being adamant about what they promised was truly disgusting.
Staff, lack of accountability, the staff, having to change my hotel key everytime i entered after getting all the way to my room. Was mis charged for a lini bar that wasn't used only to find the mistake and be refunded after money was held on my card huge inconvenience completely horrible stay

The atmosphere when u enter has a nice vibe and bar. The room is small but it was clean, smelled good, and the decor was nice. The desk clerk Ayme was very pleasant and helpful. The location is great.

I liked that it was close to the beach, and next to shopping centers so last minute stuff I needed for my trip was close by.
I didn’t like that I couldn’t control the thermostat in my room cause it was hot at times. I had to get with the manager at the front desk cause there was mini bar but some items were already missing so I had to make sure they knew that because I didn’t want to get charged. The only reason I knew stuff was missing was due to the fact that my family asked if I had the same things in my room and that’s how I figured out it was missing. The halls do have a smell down some areas. Some parts of my sheets did have stains on them as well.

Closer to the beach
No elevator. My dog has a lot of trouble going up 3 flights of stairs and there is zero mention of no elevators on the site. Only place there is air conditioning is in your room.
