The cookies were amazing at check in.

No coffee in lobby so thought I would make coffee for my cookies in the room and it was decaffeinated. So no coffee in the morning either. When we arrived we were in the basement garage and there is a buzzer there to ring the front desk but they can't open the door so its not convenient for you to haul your luggage up the ramp and around the front of the building when it is cold and blowing. The front desk has heard this many times but nothing changes. It wouldn't do good anyway because we didn't have a room key yet and can't use the elevator. Every time we were in the elevator we helped get kids back to their floor because they had no key.

My room smelt of cigarettes the entire time. I went down and spoke with the front desk and was told “That happens” when it is a nonsmoking building. I asked if there was anything they could do and was told no.

The location was perfect for us and the staff was helpful and delightful.

Stuff was wearing out. The hall temperature was 90+ - the room HVAC was so loud that we turned it off to sleep - the cold water faucet was extremely difficult to turn on and off - the shower curtain and liner pooled on the floor and in the tub - lampshades were damaged and needed replacement. In the lobby, we saw a sign for cookies - but cookies were never available.

The location was great, the hotel itself was beautiful.

The room was dirty and had garbage on the floor next to the bed. The ice machine was broken. Our room was not ready until over 2 hours after check in time. Staff was not very friendly or helpful.

The location and proximity to the convention center. The ice and water station.

It’s outdated, old, needs renovations. The bathroom sink does not get hot and then we were told they have to choose between air and heat and they chose heat. Yes it was March and that’s cold for Minneapolis. However, the temp was 58 one day, 77 the next, and 32 our last day. It was miserably hot seeing as how only the last day was an actual cold day. We opened windows but the cool air did not come in until the night it got to 32 degrees. So the other 2 nights we were sweating. They gave us 2 old school boxed fans. Then they have the audacity to charge 100.00 per night for incidentals in a hotel that is not up to par. Carpets very old and dusty. No one at the front desk is friendly except one staff female who was on schedule - during daytime check out on 3/22/26. She was the nicest out of 4 I encountered during our 3 day stay. They don’t answer their phones. The lobby ceiling makes it very uninviting upon entrance as it needs repair and had buckets on the floor to catch the water. I would not stay here again.

The workers were great, the guy at the front Desk(Diego) was very helpful and polite with good manner and Charismatic. The F&B manager was also very nice, offering help and options for us if needed. They both deserved a raise.

We asked for more sheets and blankets, they were all good except one blanket has some spots crusted together, like not washed properly or should have just been thrown away or something

The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.

While we were there, they had construction going on and there was no water Monday night and Tuesday morning. When we checked in, we were told that there was no air conditioning but when we got to our room it was working. The only thing we got was a voucher for breakfast for Tuesday and we didn't use it for Wednesday because no water.

Parking would have been convenient but the handi-cap parking was full of bath tubs. We had to ask to have them moved to park

I had reservations for 2 rooms. One had no air conditioning and no water, one had cold water and air conditioning that didnt go above low speed. They had no other rooms to swap for us. We wound up in one room. Early in the morning we found bugs in the bathroom that resembled cockroaches and we went to the desk to report this; the young lady at the desk said "and?" To our concerns. So we packed up and left.
