Most of the hotel is undergoing renovations so three out of the restaurants and bars were not open. The pool was also not open due to construction. This was despite paying a $150 resort fee for the use of that.

Rooms are extremely small. First room was buy the elevator so heard the “ding” from it all night long. No hot water in this room either. Moved to another room that was better. Still too small but very quiet. Also under under construction which limited us

I think they could’ve made a bigger effort to accommodate and be a little bit nicer. A waitress walked by us 2 times and never bother to stop and ask us if we wanted anything from the bar. But she went right next to us because there was a group of men drinking so she would have gotten a good tip. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and rainy so we had to spend time in the hotel I realize they are fixing up the hotel. But unfortunately it did not help with our stay.

The bellmen were excellent! Very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was excellent too.

The room was not quiet. I could practically hear every word of the conversations next door. The doors slam when they shut. The check in process was semi-friendly and the check out process was indifferent. Did not have the option to check out thru the tv. I made a reservation for a room with a courtyard view and got a room facing Royal. I have stayed here before and it was excellent. This stay was very disappointing.

Hotel in the process of being revamped, building mess in the corridors. Rooms are dated. Roof top pool closed, over charged in the bar. Had we been advised of the above we wouldnt have booked. I would rated this as 3 star hotel in its current state

We came for one night to go to the Sugar Bowl and did not get to check in until 5:15pm, due to our room not being ready until 5:15pm. In my opinion, this was totally unacceptable since check in is at 4pm. We did not get compensated for the inconvenience or anything!

Location was perfect as we had a wedding at the Pharmacy Museum. Valets were extremely helpful as we had to unload and load wedding supplies and they were extremely accommodating!

Entrance from garage to hotel needs upgraded; had a smell probably from the old carpet.

It is a very beautiful hotel. Old, but well maintained. One complaint I have is dirty carpet in the room. I understand it’s NOLA but for the price and the image you are trying to sell, clean those carpets!

Breakfast. Very limited, only 4-5 items on the menu, all expensive. We waited forever for it and even then a very simple adjustment was not followed. We asked for a sauce on a side and cook poured it over, ruined the whole dish. Breakfast is bad, go somewhere else.
