The hotel was BEAUTIFUL! Was greeted by valet upon arrival and the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The bar tender Brian was great. If you want some good drinks and GREAT conversation go see him. He gave great suggestions on places to eat. The hotel is in a great location very walkable. Bourbon St. French Quarters was all within 15-20!!!! Loved it there would definitely stay again.
The only problem we had was with housekeeping. Upon arrival there were sunflower seeds on the floor and when I went to take a shower later in the day I noticed a hair pin on the shower floor that I left there to see if it would be gone the next day sadly it wasn't. The 1st day we left the room and can't back housekeeping hadn't been there so I had to call the front desk and he sent someone up immediately. They came on the 2nd day but sadly the FREAKING HAIR PIN was still in the shower. Didn't come at all on day 3 but since we were leaving the next morning I didn't make a big deal of it. But they really need to work on housekeeping.
The lighting in the room is not good, there is a full length mirror in the room but because of the lighting you can't use it to take pics in it. Otherwise the room was ok.

The atmosphere when entering is very inviting and the size of the room (2 queen beds with a sleeper sofa) was bigger than we expected. The staff was helpful and engaging! Overall a nice stay.
When we arrived, a small jazz trio was playing (LOUDLY!!!!) but I didn't mind because we weren't staying in the lobby for long. Little did I know that the room I had picked (though on the 5th floor) was directly above the open-air lobby area where the band was playing. Yes, it was "only" for two hours, but it was a loud, headache-inducing concert.
Apparently they play on Fridays and Saturdays - the two nights we stayed.
Also, the mattress was very soft - not bad - just not what I'm used to.

The location was excellent, just off Canal Street and only a 15-minute walk to the French Quarter. The rooms and lobby were beautifully decorated, the barman was friendly, and the free drink tokens on arrival were a nice touch. When we asked to change from our first noisy room, the staff moved us quickly and without any fuss, which we really appreciated.
Our first room (134) was a real dud – it was right next to the lift so we heard people coming and going all night, and in the morning the bin lorry was so loud. Room 134 should not be a room guests pay for, it is awful. In general the reception team weren’t particularly friendly, which was disappointing given the price of the hotel and especially compared to the amazing service we had everywhere else in New Orleans. The shower was another let-down, with the rainfall head having almost no pressure and the handheld one having decent pressure but refusing to stay up properly. The rooms were also far too dark – I understand the aesthetic but it was impractical without at least one bright overhead dimmable light. On top of that, there was only one tiny bin, the ironing board was rusty, and to make things worse the lifts broke down during our last two days. Being on the 5th floor meant having to walk down stairs that only went as far as the 2nd floor, then find another lift to reach the ground – it was a complete faff. The biggest frustration, though, was with payment. We were told on check-in that we could pay with a different card at checkout, so we put the deposit on our UK credit card, but when we checked out the hotel had already charged that card, leaving us with a £30 foreign transaction fee. We’d wanted to use our international card, so it left a sour note at the end of the stay.

Converted from fire historic buildings in the Quarter. Owners kept a lot of the original details which was lovely. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Beds were too soft for me but I like a much firmer mattress. They should probably be replaced soon though.

Loved staying at The Eliza Jane. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is super convenient to the CBD, Lower Garden District, and French Quarter. The public spaces were beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating lounge options. My room was very spacious and quiet even though it faced the outside, and the bed was so comfortable.

The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. I just dealt with it, but the smoke lingered on my clothes and luggage well afterwards. The hotel also double charged me.

They did not have the room we booked and paid for… they gave us a room that only had 1 bed and we had booked a room with 2 beds. The outside courtyard had some kind of water leak and it was raining in the courtyard so that was strange.
