The location of the property was great. Good access to subways and close to Times Square.
The toilet did not work for both nights and there was no offer for reimbursement or to move rooms. We basically had to use the bathroom in the lobby which was extremely inconvenient. Luckily we were out for most of the day.

The hotel was in a very convenient location for accessing the train or walking around the city. The room was modern looking if a bit small, but overall a fine size for two people.
The bed was very soft and the pillows fairly stiff, which ended up hurting my neck. Without a shower door, it was impossible to take a shower without getting water all over the bathroom. The staff were overall fine, but not the most friendly or helpful when we arrived. The room was a bit pricey, but that's probably just the truth of the matter in NYC.

Check in and out. Location. Quiet. The shower was very good and refreshing. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. I found an extra blanket which took care of the air conditioning problem.
I had to ask to have my room made up and wasn't given a card to hang on the door. The air conditioning cycled on and off noisily and I was unable to adjust it. I found the lobby furniture and decor unpleasant, but that's a matter of taste.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. Every detail was perfect, the staff was outstanding, the front desk managers were professional and genuinely kind, and the atmosphere was simply wonderful. I’m usually very selective when it comes to hotels, but I can’t find a single flaw here. Truly the best place to stay in New York.

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere/vibe was relaxed and accommodating. We needed to be somewhere for a few hours which overlapped during check-out time. Our luggage was held for us so we could be where we needed to be without worrying about an extra fee for a late check-out.

Absolutely no air circulation, couldn’t adjust the thermostat, the rooms weren’t in good condition and dusty. Bathrooms had no fans and water went everywhere. The staff and location were the best part of the place. Not worth the price at all….

The 24 hours a day construction site immediately opposite our room. Banging and noise all night long. The staff were understanding and moved us to another room, but why on earth New York City allow loud construction work 24 hours a day is a nise nuisance and against World Organisation noise limits at night.

Great location! Walking distance to Central Park and Brooklyn Diner. There’s a $1.50 pizza just 1/2 a block away great for late night hungers.
Rooms are small and outdated. The restrooms had a draft coming from window. The door from the restroom had water damaged. The ottoman under the TV had some discoloration as if it was old or used furniture. We had corner room there was no light by our door very dark.

The location is perfect. It is a block away from Times Square, close to restaurants and within walking distance to theaters. We also were able to walk to Central Park and several museums. There are subway stops close by to get to other attractions. Happy hour with free wine.
I wish they had a restaurant that served breakfast, but there are several places nearby within a short walking distance.

The initial room was very small, but I was moved to heating malfunction to a nice larger room.
Staff was very kind and helpful.
Hotel generally very dated and in need some investment, room heaters looked to be 30 - 40 years old, very noisy and difficult to regulate.
Shower fixings were leaking. Ironing board broken, couldn't be used. Desk chair was broken. These are small things but if you are there for 8 days like I was for business, these things are annoying.

Great location, friendly staff, easy walk to Broadway theaters. Good value and very flexible about storing luggage for us when we checked out on Sunday.
Construction noise from the street was really bad on Friday night. Saturday was better but there still seemed to be work going on at 2 a.m. Bed was really uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on a straw mattress.

The hotel is located in an ideal place, close enough to everything, easy access to bus and subway. There is coffee, tea and water in the lobby. There was free bottled water in the rooms too.
The room was small, the window did not close 100% so there was always some cold air coming in, the radiator was switching on and off constantly.

Rooms are very tiny and uncomfortable. Sheets were dirty. No restaurant at the hotel (we stayed there because of the blizzard and really needed it). We had to ask for the room to be cleaned.

There were a lot of constructions in the building, soundproofing is pretty bad, you can hear all the neighbors when they are living there rooms and talk in a hallway
