Great location near Central Park. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Availability of breakfast and evening snack in sister property (Westhouse) which we were moved into was a nice perk.

We were β€œupgraded” to a room in their sister hotel the Westhouse. It is hard to know if this was an upgrade as the room was not in the best shape. There were some stains in the carpet and the walls. The chairs in the breakfast room were also heavily stained. Furthermore the bathroom in the room was very small and difficult to move around in. Nothing made it a β€œbad” stay, but it didn’t feel like a boutique high end hotel which is what the employees pitched it as. For reference I have not stayed in the actual Park Central itself so don’t have an exact comparison.

The hotel was very nice they had a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop that sold other convenience items although we did not visit them

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property itself. We did notice the first night all of the shower amenities (shampoo, shower gel) were very low, if not empty. I brought it to the front desks attention in the morning before we headed out for the day and I was told they will get it taken care of, but they didn’t. And we even ran out of toilet paper that evening. They did not supply a back up roll, which typically you would find under the counter. Other than room supplies, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean. And you can’t beat the location for the price.

Location was absolutely perfect. We wanted to spend some time on the town and Central park and they were both within walking distance. Lovely restaurants and entertainment all around the hotel.

I pay extra for a city view and the room had the shades broken didn't go up I complain and left without getting them fix. There were some exceptional employees such as the man in the front that directed us to the taxis. He was beyond amazing. He helped us find our missing stroller, and had a chasamatic personality. He was kind to me, my husband and kids. The bell keep was also very nice. The location was fantastic

The huge hotel had 1 working elevator that lead to very long waits. The first night we checked in the lady was super rude and made me feel very uncomfortable and that we were bothersome for asking simple questions such as where do we park since it was in the booking description that there was one close, and where the elevators were. We paid for breakfast and she made it seem we were unconvincing her by asking where we get the breakfast (in which we never figured out). She failed to mention needed information such as there was a slip that needed to be provided to the Cafe for the prepaid breakfast and to make the elevator work you needed to use your key. Then the room the bathroom mirror was broke there were huge broken off areas in the trim of the walls. The finishes were done poorly. Pieces of the window trim coming off. And most of all it was a warm outside. The room was extraordinarly hot and humid. We had no control of the temperature and it made a miserable time, especially at night.

We loved the location!! The door man was amazing.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Park Central Hotel. I paid for an early check-in but it was not honored. I spent 45 minutes waiting in line to check my bag and over an hour trying to check in, only to be turned away despite planning around the early check-in for my meetings. After finally accessing my room, my party attempted to get ice, only to find the ice machine down the hall covered in black mold. Additionally, the elevator was unreliable, rarely reaching level 11, and the hotel bar was never open during our stay. I am very unhappy with these issues and would like to speak directly with management to address them. I hope the hotel can take steps to improve these serious concerns.

Extremely disappointing and stressful experience. I had a very negative experience with this hotel and would strongly advise other travelers to be cautious. I booked and fully paid for my room in advance through Booking.com. However, when I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist informed me that the room I had reserved was not available and I was moved to a different room (1516). This already started the stay on the wrong foot.
 Things became much worse during check-in. I was told that $100 would be held as a refundable security deposit in case of damages. Instead of placing a temporary hold, the hotel charged my card again, even though the room had already been fully paid for through the booking platform. On top of that, I later discovered that I was also charged an additional $500 with no clear explanation. To make matters worse, the hotel attempted to apply a smoking-related charge, even though I am NOT a smoker and never smoked in the room. So in summary: * The room I booked was not available upon arrival * I was charged again for a stay that was already prepaid * A $100 β€œdeposit” was processed as a real charge instead of a hold * An extra $500 charge appeared without justification * I was wrongly accused of smoking This situation has caused unnecessary stress and financial inconvenience. I have formally disputed these charges and requested an immediate correction. Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Transparency, proper billing practices, and respect for guests are basic expectations that were clearly not met here.

The woman working the fromt desk when we got in friday morning was AMAZING. she let us check in 2 hours early and I couldn't have been happier with interaction.

10 mins after we got to the room a gentleman knocked on our door telling us he was here to fix the bathroom. I told him we didnt call. He wouldnt take no for an answer. I had to get stern with him and tell him he couldnt come in before he finally let. 20 mins after that we got a phone call saying they were sending someone up to remove our mini fridge since we didnt want it. Again we never called and submitted that request. Our room was perfect and had no issues. It seemed a little uncomfortable and odd how much these people wanted to get into our room. I didnt feel the best about leaving and valuables in there while we went out on the town... one odd experience I would have over looked and assumed room numbers got mixed up. But two back to back experiences was abnormally unnerving.

This hotel has a great location in New York however, cleanliness is horrible.

We had stains on our sheet protector and we asked them to change the whole entire bed and give us a new mattress protector and I had to complain about it four times the last time, talking to a manager for someone to change it. They only took the mattress protector off, which is gross. The bathroom needs to be reconstructed. There are cracks in the sink cracks on the toilet.

The location was perfect. Right between Times square and Central park. Minutes walking from Broadway and 5th Ave. The rooms are a decent size for a big city. I am 6'4" and the beds were comfortably big enough.

Apart from the reception the hotel is very old and in need of a renovation. Wear and tear are obvious. The check-in staff seemed uninterested. The cleaners and concierge were very friendly. The elevators were very slow. There is always a long waiting time.

Check-in was scheduled for 4 PM, but when we arrived around 6 PM, our room was still not ready and we were told we might have to wait until 9 PM. We have stayed at this hotel before and never experienced this issue, which made this situation even more disappointing. We are a family of four traveling with two minors, and we were initially offered two separate king rooms, which would have required splitting our family. After waiting, we were given a suite with one king bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, and despite being a suite, it did not provide the level of comfort we had paid for in advance. Overall, the experience was disorganized and far from what we expected.
