1) I asked that the Shower Gel be refilled in the shower. They did change it, but then the pump didn't work on the new bottle. Not to be bothered with making another request, we just used our personal shower gels that we brought. 2) Also, on one of the days, I requested that our room be cleaned. They did clean out the bathroom and change the towels, but our beds were unmade. I mean, if they're already in the room, might as well make the beds too right? (Even if the sheets weren't changed)

The hotel accommodation is refurbished. Beds are comfortable and the room size is quite good.
Unfortunately we found at least 4 bugs / cockroachs within our room. Three inside the room and 1 at the bathroom area.

Came to the city for an event in the convention center. My review is based on comparing this hotel to another hotel (of a different brand) nearby, which we stayed in the past, and the Hampton Inn exceeded expectations. Included breakfast was pretty good and worth part of the value of the room. Front Desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was clean upon arrival. Lobby is nice and modern. Elevators in good working order. Very convenient for those who are going to the convention.
Many hotels are reducing frequency of cleaning staff, so I get that. There was a note in the room saying they would only service our room every other day. However, when they did service it, all they did was empty the trash.

They are not organized and the hotel is not managed properly.. I was in a tour when I received a call on the middle of the day from the manager to re-do the check in. i asked to check again and she told me if I could not go to the hotel right away, additional costs would be applied. Long story short, I interrupted my tour with my 4 year old son, when I arrived to the hotel they just checked my ID again and nobody refund me the additional costs. Everything happened nov 9th, 2025 at 14:00

The bathtub in our room needs to be replaced (it appears stained). The conditioner in the shower was empty. The breakfast could use more fresh fruit than just apples and bananas.

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. We were able to check in a little early
First we could not unload our bags because there were what looked like Ubers taking up all of the spots so we had to go to a parking lot then cart our luggage to the hotel while it was raining. Then in the middle of the night the ceiling starting pouring water into the bathroom from the room above. We messaged the front desk but they didn't respond so we had to follow up with a call They told us maintenance wouldn't be in until 6am and they couldn't do anything about it until then. They sent a security person to check on it. He saw the problem but said he couldn't do anything about it. He smelled strongly of marijuana and once he left our room then smelled of it which added to our frustration of not being able to use the bathroom. They eventually asked if we wanted to switch rooms but at that point we were getting ready to check out and declined.

Itโs not bad hotel, it has some strategic location of one needs to be close to Chinatown and closer places.
That area doesnโt have parking, so despite hotel offering Valet which is great, parking is really chaotic.

It was very close to our venue. The staff were very polite and helpful.
The products in the bathroom were not filled up. I didnโt realize the hair conditioner was fully empty until I was actually in the shower and I had already washed my hair.
The pillows were too fluffy.

Room was clean, the bartender with the red/black hair was amazing, we got to check in early, the complimentary breakfast was very good.
Location didn't offer pub food as was advertised (it was only a bar), receptionists were not friendly, we were not informed that it was valet parking and that it was extra, pillows were terrible (had no comfort), staff seemed annoyed when we asked questions, location did not have any signs outside (very difficult to find).

The location is amazing in Chinatown and near the Convention Center. The staff are all very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay a great experience.
The hotel needs to improve in two ways.
First, the food/drinking experience should improve with
(i) more healthy options for breakfast, for example when it comes to cereals, and
(ii) reduced waste and increased recyclability at breakfast (no styrofoam and plastic lined cups and plates and plastic forks/spoons please). Similarly, the water available in the lobby should not come with plastic cups, paper cups do the work and will not make us absorb microplastics and stay in the environment for ever.
Second, the loud sound of banging doors can be an issue at night (perhaps they can be fixed so that the sound is less when guests are not careful).

A used washcloth was in the bathroom of our room. Also, when I paid to have an item that I left at the hotel mailed to me, it took 3 failed attempts of a courier coming and the item not being ready to give to the courier, and it took multiple phone calls to get hotel staff to finally have the time ready to give the courier, resulting in a week's delay in getting my item.

The staff upon arrival was not friendly and gave out false information. One member of the party flight was delayed so we asked if we could add the other adult to the reservation. They refused to be of help and said because it was booked third party nothing could be done but in fact something could. We just had log back into booking.com and add the name. They gave the impression nothing could be done snd seemed to not care that the other member would have to wait 4 hours in the lobby which would have been until 11 pm. The manager was very unhelpful. It almost felt as if she enjoyed seeing him sit in the lobby. Luckily we resolved the issue on our own. Then they gave us a room right by the elevator on purpose.
The staff and their lies. The fact that they had me on the phone giving my permission for my son to use my ID because my flight was delayed. We asked to add him to the reservation they refused to help. We had to use our own heads to get it figured out. Go thing we didnt listen to them.

Great and helpful staff. Location is perfect, free coffee โค๏ธ. Breakfast is very simple I would recommend to go to the reading market (around the corner) and have some soft pretzel there.
The gym need some love, some kettle and dumb bells would make is much better and versatile with low cost

Breakfast was good; plenty of choices, food was hot and area was clean. Room was comfortable but the bathroom was not the cleanest mainly the tub. My television kept freezing but the engineer Jose was delightful and had a great attitude.
Pay more attention to cleaning detail in the bathroom. That's an area where guests want to feel comfortable the most.
