This was a very nice hotel without feeling pretentious or making a person feel uncomfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. Everything felt very home like. The pool was great and the roof top area had fun games to play with the family or to just hang out. This place overall was amazing.

The staff was friendly always accommodating and very helpful. The pool with the kid friendly part was the icing on the cake for my kids. They went to the pool the evening before and after breakfast the next day. The age requirement was helpful because I could leave my older son with his younger brother. Great that you're a family friendly hotel in a big city, many hotels don't offer this option.
I found the breakfast standard, the eggs did not taste like natural or normal but what all other hotels use, artificial. We found the parking price expensive but found an affordable alternative 1 block away.

Breakfast was tasty and had inclusive offerings. Light drip coffee was yummy as I indulged! Great to have complimentary water bottles, and even a sack breakfast/snack in the lobby. Enjoyed using the gym and swimming pool as well. My kids enjoyed the 8th floor deck and available games. If I ever travel back to Portland, OR, your pearl district hotel is where I’ll stay!
Arrived Thursday and checked out Saturday. No housekeeping and didn’t see any cards in the room or bathroom advising about saving towels, wash clothes, etc. for future use. Came back Thursday afternoon and room was untouched. Ended up calling the front desk for new towels and wash cloths that came quickly. Maybe its miscommunication/not understanding this process on my part, but that’s the only dislike I experienced.

I picked this hotel because of the location. The hotel as well as our room were beautiful and modern and clean. The staff was very helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast.
According to my son, the WiFi was not great. I didn’t like the parking situation. I either had to pay a meter for street parking or a lot to have my car valet parked in a garage. Since I was not really sure about how safe the neighborhood was to leave my car on the street, I decided to pay for valet. However, the next morning, I found my car parked on the street in front of the hotel and it was left unlocked. I think they had to move my car to get another car out?

I must say, the experience was made exceptional by the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome and genuine smiles from the front desk set the tone for my entire stay.
Joseph and Alex from valet parking helped us park the car. We were very grateful.
The housekeeping team kept my room immaculate and attended to every request with promptness and professionalism. The concierge was always ready with helpful tips and recommendations, ensuring I made the most of my time in the city.

The location was absolutely fantastic! The hotel was spotless. And to top it all off, the top dining spots were just a short walk away.
Shelling out cash for parking? Oh, they offer valet service, but if you're trying to pinch pennies while on the go, the absolute worst is having to fork over more money after already splurging on a hotel room.

Pool was good for kids but mostly shallow. Deepest is 4'6" and only a tiny area. Not for adults. Roof top patio is nice.
Avoid room 464 which is right next to the laundry room and has an active bug infestation. Bugs crawling over the ceiling, bathroom floor, walls, window sill and even our shopping bag. It was just gross.
The bathroom sink drains very slowly. The adjacent room's door creaks when opened and slams when closed. We couldn't sleep because the neighbor keeps opening and closing their door.
Every other day housekeeping. We received only 1 day housekeeping for a 4 nights stay.
WiFi didn't work in the room. We couldn't sign-in to WiFi from our phones.
No self-parking. Small area for curbside valet. It was inconvenient and expensive.

Location was good. Enough restaurants that were easy to walk to. Valet is $48 a night. Valet and front desk staff were great. Breakfast was OK but hey it was free so can't complain.
I stayed 3 nights and housecleaning didn't service us. We even had to take our own trash out. We had to request for them to service us and they did the bare minimum. We travel so much this was a first time for us. The pool has so much chlorine that my family who accompanied us pool side had to go it burned their eyes and they didn't get in (needs more ventilation).

Kids loved the chess tables and the pool which was nice and shallow for littles to enjoy. Rooms are oddly quiet considering it's in the city with many guests. Beds are super comfy and they give lots of pillows.
No microwave in room :( and the door to bathroom was pretty hard to open. The sink faucet was a little too high for a little kid to turn on.

This is by far one of our favorite hotels we have ever stayed in. Everything was done with the highest quality of service and excellence.
The breakfast (which was included) had a fantastic variety and had different offerings each day. There was plenty of seating, and the breakfast staff was fantastic. Hot food was constantly being replaced - egg fritatas, gravy and biscuits, bacon, chicken sausage, etc. - and tables were being cleaned almost immediately. There was also a team of employees, making sure that there was always somebody to attend to guests.
The front staff and valet folks were extremely friendly and helpful.
The pool was great and had fun little details that kids and adults could enjoy, such as the waterfall and the water bucket.
The gym had plenty of machines and space for guests to work out in their own space.
The rooms were nice and big, with lots of bathroom counter space for toiletries. The water was hot and the water pressure was great.
There were plenty of places to charge your phones and other devices. Rooms also came with a refrigerator.
The little touches in the hotel, like photos from around the city adorning each room number, added an extra touch.
The building was remarkably CLEAN! Everything, every location, was given great attention by the staff, who never seemed intrusive but who always seemed ready and willing to help.
The location was within walking distance to so many things we wanted to do, and right across the street from a fabulous market, where you could by food from around the world and enjoy a meal on the huge, beautiful rooftop patio - possibly our favorite detail.
We cannot wait to go back to Portland, and to go back specifically to this hotel!

The room was huge and great, with a comfy bed and a big bathroom. The breakfast was good as well, with variation in the days of our stay. The gym and pool was a nice extra to end up the day with different activities.
All of the cutlery and dishware in the breakfast was paper and wood. This is clearly better than plastic, but regular dishes and cups, forks and knives would be far more sustainable and satisfactory.
