The stay was good... is not the Hotel maybe but I've never felt such racial tension over staying in a Hotel... and I've lived in Dallas... People were RUDE...
RACIST people... it was a shame that it is 2024 and caucasian people still believe to be above others...

The bathtub was clogged retaining water when we showered. The hotel said it had Riverwalk view, that was a stretch. It was an ugly view from our balcony. The snack bar was horrible. ( we have stayed at a Embassy in Round Rock)

The staff at this property went above and beyond to make sure our stay went well. There is a wonderful daily hot breakfast and a happy hour with drinks! The location was perfect to explore San Antonio and the riverwalk. The suite was also a perfect size for a family of four.
The facilities in general are aging (paint, plumbing, fixtures) and could use a little TLC. The pool area is small and sparse and is mostly shaded in the afternoon.

The breakfast was great and the coffee was delicious. The elevators were clean and quick. I liked how they gave information for my dog to relieve herself.
There wasn't any face soap, body soap, or conditioner in the bathroom. I could have used some make up wipes, maybe some cotton swabs, there was none. The front desk wouldn't give my husband the soaps, he had to go back to the room and wait for someone to bring it, they didn't even give face or body soap, just shampoo and conditioner.

the room could’ve been cleaner and primarily the bathroom. the toilet was NOT clean and the floor was not swept well. Sheets had hair on them. I feel all hotels need to move away from all white linens as it is absolutely no way you can keep them spotless after being used hundreds/ thousands of times.

This is an amazing hotel with an excellent location. They have a "happy hour" with 2 free alcoholic drinks and snacks from 5:30pm - 7:30pm, never seen that before and what a nice thing to have! The complimentary breakfast in the morning was excellent, delicious made-to-order omelets and red-skin potatoes along with all the other normal breakfast things. The best complimentary breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. The room was nice and quiet and excellent A/C. The pool was a little small and got busy at night but we ended up going early in the morning our 2nd time and had the pool to ourselves. The location is right on the Riverwalk with a beautiful waterfall right underneath the hotel that makes an amazing backdrop for photos. We didn't have to wait long to check in even on a Saturday at 4:30pm. The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations to local restaurants, etc. The hotel felt very safe as they kept all doors locked after a certain time of day except for the front doors. We were all impressed with this hotel and highly recommend!!!
Pool could have been bigger, have more amenities for the kids and the restaurant on-site is too fancy and not appealing to families, no kids menu or anything really for picky eaters so we had to eat elsewhere.

Good location. Steps to the Riverwalk but not a crowded area so it wasn’t noisy. Laundry machines in the hotel were a big help. Clean. Fridge and microwave were nice to have.
Our room could have used a re-fresh. The furniture was shabby looking and bathroom was clean but old looking. Living area was tight- too much furniture in a tiny area. Parking is $$ but there’s a parking garage a block or so away that was very reasonable.

The lobby is open and airy with plenty of room for foot traffic but also lots of seating. To the right it rambles off to a nice, large bar/restaurant (we didn't try it) and the back part overlooks the Riverwalk. To the left is a large breakfast area. The rooms (we had a superior king) are similarly spacious. The hallways are wide and well-lit.
I did not partake of breakfast but am told that there was a good variety and made-to-order omelets.
The location is on a a quieter portion of the Riverwalk, away from the masses, but still convenient to everything.
There were no negatives.

I didn't like that the elevator stopped working and our room was on the 5th floor and we had to take the stairs down with a baby,stroller, luggage and all as we were checking out of the hotel. I understand things happen beyond your control, but it would have been nice to get a courtesy call.

Great location, close to grocery type stores, shopping, restaurants and attractions .Daily breakfast buffet was very good quality, getting a fresh made omelet with a great selections of fillings to choose from was very nice as well. The room was nice and beds and other furniture was comfortable and clean.
The pool heater was broken so no heated pool and the elevators did not work for two of the 3 days I was there. Walking down 7 flights was not bad but waiting on the service elevator to get back up was very trying.

The room smelled like mildew every time we came back to the room it smelled. I had to keep spraying my perfume to kill the smell ... the rooms need to have plug-ins... to keep them smell fresh .... I wish the bedroom had access to the restroom from the room ... not separate.. wasn't fulfilled to what we paid for ..

Everything was fantastic. I love that we had a bathtub in our room. Jasmyne at the front desk was amazing.
We went to breakfast dressed for the water park we were fixing to go visit and a lady that apparently worked for you told us there was a dress code. It was embarrassing and upsetting. If there was a dress code we should have been told that before we ever went to breakfast. I would have given you a excellent rating on everything. Had it not been for this one lady.

Stayed here with my family for a day in the larger suites. The hotel is beautiful, customer service was great, the rooms were clean and spacious, our room was like a one bedroom apartment with two beds, a spacious bathroom, a small kitchenette area, a mini bar refrigerator, a Livingroom, little dining area and the sofa had a pull out bed. Lots of windows and lights and nice views. I would definitely recommend hotel to any families that stay on this strip. By far the best and to top it off the best full breakfast I’ve ever seen with an omelette station! We loved it here! It’s pricey but worth every penny!

The property is in the heart of everything and on the Riverwalk. You can walk to all the places within just a few blocks. Our two room suite was very nice allowing for plenty of room and comfort. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was super nice! Here’s the kicker and don’t sleep on this advice, no other property can beat the breakfast!!!!! If you’re trying to decide between places to stay, choose the Embassy if just for the breakfast!!!! Carry on and you’re welcome.
We had no issues and will stay here again without looking at other places. This is our go to property.

Property was relatively clean and staff friendly. There’s a market in the lobby for snacks/ drinks. The bar and breakfast area are open and pretty.
Location isn’t great. The area isn’t the best- not much nearby- area has become a bit sketchy with homeless folks and drug users :/ we walked down toward the college on the riverwalk and came across some folks sleeping under one of the bridges. Not the best kiddo environment. 10 min walk to anything fun to do. Property needs upgrading. TVs were basic satellite. Room service is only provided by restaurant downstairs which is overpriced and no kid friendly food. Hotel pool is highly used but no umbrellas (it’s deadly hot up there!) No hot tub even though looks like there used to be one. And looks like there is an area for a bar but it’s closed up. Could have definitely used a place to get a drink (even non alcoholic.)

We did not received the room we booked at all. Nor the description of their room meet our expectations. When We brought it to the evening lobby staff, it was brushed off as that’s what we booked. A 1 room, two beds, and leaving space with pullout couch is not what we booked for! We booked for a two separate bedroom room. Had the receipt and all. Extremely disappointed! The evening lobby staff was not helpful at all.

Paying $600+, I didn’t expect for the king suite to need some cosmetic maintenance. There was alot of paint chipping on the doors and some things seemed a bit outdated compared to other places of similar price range.
