We were on the first floor didn’t like the balcony being there on the first floor the river walk sidewalk is too close, and we didn’t have cell phone service and no WiFi

The room was ok. It was clean and modern. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

It had construction, so it didn’t look anything like the pictures posted. The beautiful pool was abstracted. The location of the hotel is not in the main river walk area, so don’t expect just walk down to where the stores, restaurants and activities are. You will need to drive up where all the action is. Make sure you request a balcony room facing the river or you will not have it.

The property was by the Riverwalk, from the pool it had a nice scenery, the food was very decent (in love withe million air oats), staff very friendly, and was one of the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed.

The elevators need a lot of ATTENTION and hotel needs a bigger parking lot if charging guess $20 per night.

Location has always been great

The fact that their website still shows the old restaurant as being open when is not. There is some Greek restaurant. I loved the old new Orleans cuisine restaurant and that was the only reason I booked my stay. And when I got there and saw the construction and asked about the restaurant they said it's still open just on the other side but that was a lie because is a completely different restaurant.

The property was clean, and the location was not bad either. It not in the middle of everything but there is definitely places nearby to go to

There is a good amount of homeless people on this side of the river walk. Also the hotel was under construction , so we didn’t get the full experience but I’m sure once construction is completed it will be very nice.

Hotel was under renovation. Sign said Sol, so was confused and misdirected. Went in circles around area until decided to call and was told that the Wyndham sign had just been taken down that day. Room did not have microwave.

Loved the upper deck balcony as well as the heated pool and spa. The Cafe located inside the hotel has excellent coffee and breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was clean and updated. Will definitely return!

Located right on the Riverwalk and north of where all reaction is but a pleasant walk along the River Walk to downtown. We had a beautifully renovated king balcony room overlooking the river. Parking was easy to access and right across the street. Lots of restaurants and brewpubs in walking distance.

Pool was a bit small and the patio seating area was not very well equipped. Ownership is in the middle of a changeover to Marriott..

The HVAC in the room is too noise.

The HVAC unit noise and the valet is too expensive when is not a centric hotel. Self parking must be available as it was in the past. Pool could be heated.

I thoroughly enjoyed the room, it was well designed and tasteful. The bedding was comfortable and my spouse loved the shower. Very clean and the view over the riverwalk was decent. I do hope that the city of San Antonio will continue renovating and building within this area of downtown SA. It was not too far of an uber or scooter ride to the River Center and I spent my afternoon shopping and eating away, hitched a ride back to the hotel room via uber and got ready for a 90luxurious date with my handsome spouse during the late hours of the evening.

I did not like the pasta at the restaurant, I should have listened to the staff when they mentioned how the seafood and steaks were much better in comparison. The Espresso Martini was not to my liking, as it was far too sweet and tasted like I was drinking a sweet perfume. Liquor 43 or Mr.Black is always an elite choice in concocting the perfect espresso martini in comparison to whatever else was being used. I enjoy a classic espresso martini, shaken and strained to where the top of the glass has a thin layer of foam. The German chocolate cake martini was however, delicious and the Filet Mignon melted in our mouths, my poor spouse was sharing his meal with me haha, because it was that good! Bread service was also good, however, I would like to recommend a slight increase to the portion size of the olive oil dip. It was delicious, but by the time I wanted to ask for more, the main course was already served and we were chowing down like it was our last meal. Overall, an extremely peaceful, romantic experience and a hotel that I would love to visit again in the near future.

Great regular housekeeping. Quiet location. Friendly helpful staff.

Forgot to refill the shower gel dispenser. The valet is needlessly expensive. Its not like its an inner city high rise situation, its a lot adjacent to the hotel, a few feet from the front door.. $50+/day plus tips is a exorbiant. The hotel is not quite luxury enough for the nightly rate its charging. Countessa is less per night and a more impressive hotel all around.
