Room was a good size & bed was comfy. Loved that you could grab coffee every morning down stairs.

Very centrally located, with a cable car station and bus stop right nearby. Very quiet rooms (facing the courtyard). Very friendly staff. Patricia (concierge/tourist support) in particular was super friendly and helpful. I asked her where I could get a special Trader Joe’s bag. She suggested I check out several stores, since their inventory varies. She also gave me several addresses. Unfortunately, I wasn’t successful at three of the stores. The next day, Patricia surprised me. She had found a bag for my daughter and gave it to me as a gift. What a wonderful gesture. It really makes you feel extremely welcome as a guest. So, once again, many thanks to Patricia from my daughter and me. The next time I’m in San Francisco, I will definitely stay at the Marriott Vacation Club again.
As in most American hotels, the breakfast options are extremely limited. This always takes some getting used to for Europeans. In the end, it's not that bad; you can get used to it. But it would be nicer if they served breakfast.

Hotel was decent location, mostly touristy stuff so a bit hit and miss but felt safe. Its clean and people are pleasant and room was very comfortable.
Only coffee in lobby in the morning, some pastries would be nice. Breakfast options around the location exist but are rather mediocre. Parking, well, expensive like everywhere else in this town.

The free fruity waters and coffees were a great touch.

Perfect location as walkable to fisherman’s Wharf, pier 33 and 39 and other areas to visit, like Lombard street.
If you are on the urban side it can be noisy outside as traffic continues through the night and street cleaners in the early hours.

Great location, you can walk to pier and other places.
It was soooo noisy, I had the worst stay there you can hear everything from the outside, people slamming doors, people on top of us walking so hard. It was impossible to have a good night of sleep. I can understand the noisy outside but the other noise from other guests it was completely unnecessary.

Great location to explore the San Francisco waterfront!
We liked the gym and the daily activities the hotel offered, e.g. sampling of rolls from local bakery, walking tour, etc.
A nice touch was the free laundry (although I didn't realise it was only accessible from 9am-9pm, and I got locked out so my clothes got locked in the washer :-)

Great location, easy to go to get snacks and go to the pier. Liked that there was activities daily from the hotel.
Courtyard is loud and the sound proofing between floors and rooms is poor. They give you earplugs in advance, so probably some thing that the hotels are aware of, but it did disturb our sleep for a few nights.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Highly recommend. We were on a world trip and we travel a lot but this was one of our best surprises ever when it comes to an acommodation. It really is managed with attention to detail from storage in the bathroom, outlets by the bed, starbucks (!!) coffee in the room, enough towels, daily housekeeping…. Just everything is convenient!
