The staff was friendly and helpful. I was told they were short staffed and their ice machines were not working, but they made an effort to get us ice and answer all our questions.

Not really.

Besides the room being extra nice.........handicapped....... KAREN at the from desk was exceptionally nice and helpful!

Your handicapped rooms should be on the first floor not the 4th and 5th floor. Ours was on the 4th......took forever to get hot water.

Close to my purpose for visiting Tucson

Breakfast on weekends was served too (7:00 am) late for my schedule. Should offer even limited breakfast options for early morning travelers as 7:00 isnt sufficient for many travelers. Exterior security lighting needs improvement. Location bordered a questionable are and no lighting at the side entrances. As a female traveling alone, security was not up to par. Dark at the side entrances. No exterior surveillance cameras which they should have A 99 cent bottle of water cost $4.00. Ridiculous

The overall rating would have been a 6, but Karen Shumard really moved the needle. The first room we were provided (521) had something wrong. An unpleasant smell and a sticky floor in the area that the refrigerator and microwave are housed. Karen got us moved immediately to a much better room and took note of my observations. Throughout our stay Karen was consistently courteous, responsive and pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was quite good, and the 4 Elements Restaurant made one of the best "Southwest Burger's" I've ever had. The view from the 5th floor was stunning.

Housekeeping could have been better. The issues in the first room we were provided were a real letdown. The community trash bins filled up too quickly, and someone had set a plate out in a common area on our first morning, that was still there when we checked out a day later.

Clean. Friendly staff. Great location.

No coffee in the lobby. Sign said there is coffee available from 4:00 am - 7:00 am when breakfast was served. There was no coffee available and staff dismissed my disappointment and sent me down the road to Starbucks!

Their buffet breakfasts are the BEST! Just incredible, really. You'd pay a lot for a breakfast like that and the room price is already very reasonable. The mountain view from my room was beautiful. And, I had a balcony I sat out on for coffee in the mornings and to sip wine in the evenings. I'm definitely staying there on my next trip to Tucson.

I didn't find anything I was displeased about.. which is rare at big facilities like that.

There was plenty to choose from. The omelettes that the cooks were making look very good and seemed to be popular.

The ice machine on my floor was not working. The carpet in the room appeared to be a little dirty.

Room was spacious. Bed was good. Was not a pleasure trip so not much time spent to enjoy our stay. Pool looked very inviting and the outdoor fireplaces lovely touch.

Carpet could use a good cleaning. Socks pretty dirty after walking around a little. Also, stained towel used for cleaning up coffee spill (?) Refolded and put back on shelf as clean. The ac/heating unit was really noisy and rattled a lot.

The size of the room was good. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean. It’s a bit dated, and could use some spiffing up. Next time we’ll ask for a room closer to the pool and restaurant.

The room was a bit dark, and could use some freshening up.
