What a delightful little boutique hotel. The location was perfect for us - close to the downtown and easy access to the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum. The safety gates at night were a bonus.
It would have been nice if the new roof wasn't being installed when we were there, but maintenance is always necessary.

The hotel advertised the pool and hot tub and did not let us know that they would be out of service during our stay. We chose the hotel based on the cool looking pool area and had planned to use it.
On arrival we were not only told the pool was out of service but that there was no cable. The staffs attitude about these issues was basically "oh Well". We will have to be in in Tuscon for work over the next year and had hoped to find a hotel to use as our base.. .. this hotel is NOT it.

Great Pool access and staff was good at the bar/restaurant. Access to the bicycle trails (the Loop) was our main purpose of staying there as it allowed us to get right on the Loop with a little maneuvering.
When we arrived, there was no water in the pool and we couldn't swim in it until the third day we were at the the Hotel. We checked in on Wednesday, March 19th and had expected to stay until March 28th, but left early as they were repairing the roof of the hotel, had no tv until right before the start of NCAA tournament on Thursday the 20th, but we had already changed our reservation to leave early.

We had a great stay! The rooms are small, but thoughtfully laid out and very clean. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful, there was great 24 hour free coffee, and the room came with complimentary cold water! I don't know if this part of town is the best, but there is a fence which surrounds the whole property that is locked after 9 pm (guests can go in and out with their room key), and I felt safe and had a great rest.

Location was fine, it was nice that the property is gated at night. We have stayed at voco hotels in the past with great pleasure, but this one was masquerading as a IHG property. It does still feel like a motel six with makeup on. Additionally, the first room that was assigned to us did not have working lights, and the second room had an a/c unit that was so intensely loud that we had to sleep without it all night. Maybe this place has potential, but someone needs to throw some more passion and cash in its direction.
As I wrote above. Motel 6 with some makeup on. Staff wasn't thrilled to be working there. The breakfast was lacking real structure. Also the hotel staff was also extremely knowledgeable about Tuscon.. and they didn't have maps of the city either.

The lock was broke on the suite we had booked so we switched rooms for a night even though they called maintenance in that night to fix it. This an old interstate property that has been impeccably renovated yet still retaining a very cool route 66 vibe. The rooms were sparkling clean, the pool area was very cool and the small indoor restaurant was great. Overall, this property was outstanding, fun, had a great vibe too is and it was easily accessible to many thing in Tucson.
Nothing really though its deceptively located directly along the interstate highway. But don't be fooled as that never comes into play with the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the food served or the service provided by staff members.

The Booking.com description of the pool area was accurate.
The Booking.com description of the “Premium Room” is COMPLETELY inaccurate. All of this motel, NOT hotel, rooms have loud, obtrusive IN- Wall air conditioning units which constantly cycle on and off during the entire night on Eco-Mode’ (according to the motel’s management). These awful units are NOT PICTURED AT ALL on the Booking.com descriptions of these particular rooms, or any of the other rooms listed on their website. Please see attached photos of the air conditioning unit and large 3 inch gap underneath the exterior door. The gap under the door permits constant dirt, noise, and dust to enter the room. We had to place a bath towel underneath because it was that bad. As a Booking.com Genius Level 3 member, I’d highly recommend that you stay far away from this place, unless you’re not intending to sleep there during the night.

Loved the boutiquie feel. The bar and food was exceptional for such a small property.

It was totally worth it to pre purchase the breakfast online. Upon check in we received our breakfast coupons to use each morning. So worth it! They also gave us some drink coupons to use at the bar. The hotel was gorgeous and staff was wonderful. Also the gate made us feel safer.
The bathroom has a barn door which sucks for privacy while you’re trying to poop.
