The location of the property is ideal, right in the centre, short walking distance from all the attractions, shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast had a big variety and it was delicious. Out of all the hotels weโve been in Bulgaria this was our favourite, mostly because of the kindness and attention to details from the staff. We highly recommend!

Great location. We went for the weekend and it was my boyfriendโs birthday and they had a nice gesture with him and gave us a sweet gift.
The pictures of the bedrooms are not the reality at least for the one we got. Bathroom really old. Towels were clean but old. Half of the lights from the bedroom were not working. Needs a lot of maintenance or renovation.

The hotel is in a very good location, 100 meter from Vitosha boulevard. Metro station is in 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Breakfast was brillant - fresh, diverse and tasty.
The staff on reception is affable, helpful and meet you with smile.
We was unlucky with the room. There was a water leak from heating element. The problem was resolved by puting a bucket under the element till end of our stay. There was also bad smell from the toilet. After my complaint the last problem was resolved.

I absolutely loved everyone in this Hotel! They were extremely lovely :) They were so helpful and kind. We checked out around 6 am. Since we cannot make it to breakfast, they prepared us sandwiches and put in a bag with bunch of fruits and snacks. I was about the cry :)) And the ambiance of the hotel is so cute, specially breakfast area. I loved the drawings on the walls. Also there is happy hour between 6-8pm and free drinks. I was very satisfied with my stay overall thanks for everything!
The sheets and the toilets were clean but the closet shelves were a bit dusty. That might be the only thing ro improve.

Great location and the staff were excellent especially Pam at the reception . My last night there they sent me a sweet dessert with compliments and the gentleman at the terrace bar allowed us to drink our own wine which we bought from the wineries without charging any corkage . He even threw in complimentary bruschetta and rakias on the house .
Ok the staircase has ironing boards and other stuff stored there which is not very pleasant to look at . Clean those up and it will be much better .

Happy Hour from 6-8pm every night with open bar, beer, wine and a fantastic array of appetizers both hot and cold buffet style very artfully presented and with live music serenading you. Wonderful breakfast with more hot and cold options that I've ever had. Hard to describe. My room had a balcony overlooking the courtyard. It felt like a family home. Lots of staff but were in a low key, almost Bohemian mode. Very genuine. We were hugging on my way out and I only stayed 3-4 nights.
Absolutely everything was wonderful. One of my best stays in Eastern Europe. It is a chain and I will definitely look for another Art 'Otel in cities I travel to from now on.

The receptionist is the face of a hotel, and Plamena truly exceeded expectations. She was incredibly friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome, turning our stay into an exceptional experience. The breakfast offered a good selection of meals and drinks. Additionally, coffee and tea were available 24/7, which was a thoughtful touch. If I ever need accommodations in this region again, I will definitely choose this hotel.
There were a few minor facility issues that we addressed. However, since our stay was just for one night, I trust they will resolve them promptly.

We chose this place due to good price for a central location and knew itโs a small hotel. The room was spacious with a small balcony and had all the facilities needed. Location a minute walk from Vitosha boulevard. The staff was very kind and helpful with information. At the end of the trip they even prepared breakfast earlier than their usual time so we could eat before leaving for the airport. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a great location. You walk less than 5 minutes and are directly in the large pedestrian zone of the city center. There are all kinds of restaurants and stores.
The room size and sleeping comfort were just right. The minibar was as full as I have ever seen it.
There was also a daily happy hour where you could get drinks and snacks for free.
Unfortunately, there were also things that were not so good. At breakfast, for example. Everything was there. Fried eggs, sausages, small meatballs, scrambled eggs etc. but unfortunately everything was completely cold. A small carafe of watery orange juice was quickly empty and wasn't refilled. Rather not recommended.

Great location to explore Sofia. Very comfortable bedding and clean room. Fantastic breakfast with lots of local specialties ( delicious fresh banitsa everyday) . Fun and charming dining room and a terrace for drinks in the evening . And adorable helpful staff( particularly Sylvia who speaks excellent French and English)

The staff were amazing prior to our visit and during our visit and could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was every conceivable food you might like to eat at breakfast - they really try to satisfy all needs. The location could not be better and was perfect for a 3 night stay.
We had upgraded through our booking agent to a mountain view room. In fact, although we could just see the mountain top over the rooftops, the higher up rooms are smaller. Our travelling companions had a lower grade room i.e. not mountain view, but it was lower down and much larger.

We spent three nights at the Art โOtel in Sofia (May 18-21) and were very impressed with the service and the facilities. Everything is super clean and comfortable, and the room was very spacious. Emil, the owner did his utmost to make our stay in the city pleasant and enjoyable. Their breakfast is second to none. Absolutely incredible variety of foods on offer both sweet and savory. Adding our three breakfasts there we could not try everything they had to offer, even eating just morsels of each plate. They had 13 varieties of cheeses, 5 or 6 natural yogurts, 5 different types of eggs cooked, beaten, mixed, fried or otherwise, cold cuts, sausages, meatballs, local savory pastries, tartes, baklavas, pies, and on and on. It goes on forever. The Hotel offers a free happy hour in the evening with quality spirits, wines and beers plus accompanying snacks. Again: FREE. The location is fantastic right in the center of town and has its own parking space, albeit tight. We couldnโt have picked a better place to stay in our first visit to Sofia.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel in Sofia! The location is absolutely perfect โ right in the center, close to everything: cafes, shops, historical sites, and public transport. It made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable.
The staff were outstanding โ warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. They really made us feel welcome and taken care of.
And the breakfastโฆ wow! One of the best weโve had. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and so varied that it was honestly hard to choose what not to eat.
You hear the water from the neighbor's upstairs toilet and shower.

We (a group of three friends) were only staying the night due to an early morning flight home. On our arrival we were greeted by our very hospitable host Dani who immediately welcomed us and offered complimentary drinks (Prosecco, wine, cold soda, rakija) and light snacks (delicious cheese with tomatoes and olives,and sandwiches). We sat on the veranda to unwind. It was a great centrally located hotel.
Our 3 bed room was upgraded to a single and twin room. The rooms were spacious with refrigerator, TV, coffee maker with coffee!, A/C, and a plate of fresh fruit:) The bed was comfy and I slept well.
Dani arranged our early morning 04:30 taxi to airport (and paid for it!) and packed us breakfast sandwiches with the freshest bread, bananas, and other snacks. Outstanding customer service!! Highly recommend!

We liked everything. Located in quiet street but very close to Vitosha boulevard. Breakfast was great, nice choice of cheese, sweets, vegetables and fruits, and also pleasant enterior. They even had fresh cherries for breakfast. There is also evening happy hour with free drinks. Also, we were pleasantly surprised by getting a nice pastry on the house directly in our room. We would choose this hotel again when back in Sofia.

We spent two weeks in Eastern Europe visiting five countries. Art 'Otel was our favorite hotel. The room was spacious, we had a balcony off the room where we could have coffee, the staff was very friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
On occasion, the shower was hard to turn on. It worked but we had to try a few times.

We reserved and prepaid for suite that turned out not to be available upon arrival . We were placed in a triple room with had very weak to nonexistent AC (we were there during heatwave). Staff were very apologetic and even gave us a piece of a lovely cake .

Very friendly staff, surprised me with a cake in the afternoon, great location, upgraded me to a double room, comfortable bed with a lot of pillows. Location is great.
The room was old, the toilet was leaking (needed to press the right way to stop it), the shower was mouldy and the doors were loose. Air conditioning didn't work so I felt really hot in the night, the window could not close properly. Desperate need of renovation and deep cleaning.
