What a delightful find! Looks like there has been recent investment along with dropping the Best Western association. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was a great bonus.
Love the central location. Next to the main pedestrian street and short walk to the centre.

We were upgraded to a bigger room upon arrival which was great. Room had two separate sleeping areas and the bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was really good and had a lot of choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was ideal as it was only a short walk to the main street which had loads of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from.
Several of the electric sockets did not work in one of the bedrooms which was not a major problem as the other room had others that did work.

The breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very polite and helpful. The room was also spacious.
The hotel was good value for money, and the location was excellent, being very close to a variety of shops, restaurants and transport links.
The room did not look like the one advertised on the website when the booking was made, despite it being spacious and comfortable overall.
The bath would leak when taking a shower, so each morning our group would have to put towels down to soak up some of the excess water which would accumulate on the bathroom floor.
The air conditioning didn't seem to work properly, and the room was very warm. We had to keep windows and doors open every time we were in the room to allow fresh air to come in and help cool the place down.
The building work which was taking place during our stay was a little disruptive. It would have been nice to have been warned of this beforehand.

The hotel was in a very good location within easy walk of the centre of the town and a great selection of restaurants and bars. The breakfast was excellent - we had two vegetarians in our party and they were well catered for.
The hotel was going through some renovations but the staff were very apologetic and helpful.

Breakfast was nice and had nice options for food, bread, spreads and fruits. The room size was amazing and we had two very big and comfortable beds. The hotel is located in an extremely central area, and couldn't be better in this regard.
Personal wasn't very friendly (we checked-in and the guy had a croissant in his mouth while talking to us). The lift was unfortunately not working during our stay (3 nights). The water is leaking from the bathtub in the bathroom, so the bathroom ends up a little wet after taking a shower - nothing too dramatic, but annoying to step on a wet carpet everytime you come out of the shower.

Amazing location. Great buffet breakfast. Super helpful guy on reception when we arrived on Friday 17th who went out of his way to explain the location and subway system.
The room was very dated but I think they are renovating so this should be fixed. Rude chap on reception when we left on Saturday 18th. Barely looked at us as he scrolled through his social media. By the far the rudest person we met in all our Bulgaria travels.

Shower was a little dirty. There was a constant ticking noise in our room we couldnโt quite place but we assume was related to the elevator moving up and down as we were next to it. Superb location, one street from Vitosha street. There is always someone at the reception. The bed is comfortable. Great for a weekend stay.
Not squeaky clean but not dirty. The rooms could use a deep clean or a renovation and the old guy at the eating room could be nicer. The breakfast is served from 7, at 8 the eggs were gummy and the bread with chesse and banitza were dry from standing in the air. I think you are better off buying pastry at some bakery, there is a lot of them and they work weekends, too!

Art Plaza Hotel was good value for money and Iโm very satisfied with my stay. I ended up in a room that was a little sad by comparison to the others, but it was very nice and comfortable nonetheless. Breakfast was abundant, varied and delicious.
My only criticism is about the shower door, which didnโt seal correctly and made a big puddle of cold water on the floor.

Great value for money. Clean rooms and great location in the city center, near bars, shops and restaurants. The hotel feels very comfortable and has all the basics you need.
The ventilation in the rooms was not really working and was loud. It got quite warm in the room so we had to keep the window open all the time. The coffee in the breakfast wasnโt the best, but otherwise breakfast is okay.

Upon check in air condition was very noisy in the room so we should change the room.
Telephone in the rooms are not connected with the reception so if you need anything you should go down to the reception each time !!!!!!!!!
We spend a full night in the hot weather of July without aircondition.
Reception respond after many contacts was very bad and said we can't do anything till tomorrow, second day gabi from reception tried to help and informed the management .
I tried to meet the manager 4 times for two days but was not possible as he is always not there
I send 2 e- mails to the hotel and they finally offered me a discount on my next stay in the hotel which will never happen as I am not sure if i will go to Sofia again and if I will go sure I will not stay in this hotel again

The location of the hotel is great. It is a 1 minute walk from Vitosha blvd, which is really convenient.
The staff was kind, trying to help with the requests. However, it would be better if they were more proactive to provide some hints regarding the public transport and local tour companies when they have a price list on their desk which I have noticed after 3 days staying at the hotel, etc.
The room smells damp, it was old repaired, and the furniture and doors were worn and torn. It was obvious that the owners are not investing in the hotel as even the outdoor sign's lights were working on some letters only.
The towels were not of good quality, and on some days they were not being changed.
Breakfast could be better. E.g. the plain yogurts with chia seeds were sweetened, the cappuccino from the machines was sweetened, like you have no choice.
Also, there was a small incident at my checkout - the staff told me that I have used mineral water from the mini bar, when I haven't used anything. The receptionist handled it somehow, but it was unpleasant situation.

Although the hotel is a little outdated, it was extremely clean in all areas, including public spaces. Our room was very clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. Location was perfect for 1 night stay, right in the middle of the city center, walking distance from plenty dining options. Wide selection of breakfast items very tasty. Great value for money. The hotel could use some renovation, as it feels a bit dated (early 2000s), but it is very well maintained and clean, so this did not bother us.

The price-quality of the room is solid: for 89 euros, I my partner and I gained a room with breakfast included in a good location. Furthermore, the staff is quite helpful, as we had issues with our taxi driver and they helped us out by providing solutions.
The room is not entirely soundproof from the hallway, which - if you are an early sleeper - can be sometimes disturbing, as you can hear people in the hallway.
