The only thing that I didn't like is that the old Central Rail Station that you had to pass through, had homeless people, beggars, and drug users lurking around. Be careful if you are going through this area in the dark.

The smoking was really bad on the floor I was staying on. The smell was coming into my room. When I mentioned this when I checked out, I was brushed off by the receptionist as this is normal. If the hotel rooms are no smoking, then why is there smell of cigarettes smoke in my room and in the corridor.

We had a nice welcome to the hotel and excellent inputs from the person at the reception. The excellent Hadjidraganov's Houses Restaurant is just 700m away. The bus stand is just around 5 min away and was very convenient for us as we used the bus from the airport and took the buses to Plovdiv and Skopje from here. All the attractions were within a 30 min walking distance. We got to see the most wonderful sunrise from our room which was on the 5th floor facing the bus stand.
It is not in the centre of town and we had to walk a bit, but we were ok as the location near the bus station made it convenient for us travel to Plovdiv and Skopje.

The room was very comfortable and well-maintained. Bed, chairs, toilet facilities all seem new. The location, even though not in the city center, is directly next to metro, tram and bus stations so you can get to the center in 10 mins. The neighborhood is very calm outside the busy part of sofia which is a very big plus for me.
The staff is very friendly, helpful and always smiling.
Breakfast is also very generous.
The only thing that can be improved is the cleaning service which comes during the day. Their cleaning was not very good. Mostly what they did was just replace the towels and fix the bed.

The hotel is located directly opposite of the Central Station in Sofia. Which is convenient if you want to use a means of transport. There is parking, which is small, but it exactly next to the hotel and convenient. Fortunately, we found space to park all 3 days we were there. Since they do not hold positions. The girl who welcomed us to the front desk and the boy who was on the night shift, were both polite. I don't think it's a four-star hotel, even if they correct what they should, it's a business hotel.
In contrast to the specific ones from the reception, at breakfast there were two women, one spoke many languages and was polite and smiling. The other was constantly talking through her mouth and resented that our child was walking in the restaurant, obviously she was not in a good mood at all. The dress code was not for hotel staff, let alone for a 4-star hotel as they say. There was also a young boy on this shift, who seemed to be working there for the first time. Breakfast is uncomplete. And the delicatessen, cheeses, cucumbers were not fresh. The coffee was not good. It is not possible to clean the tables and at the same time put things on the buffet without gloves and a hat. The room was dirty, the curtain was cracked, and the coffee cups were also dirty. The girl who called the manager had an ironic tone. At check out, I talked to the manager of the hotel and informed him about all this. He told me that he will try to correct the situation and do whatever it takes to prevent it from happening to someone else. I wish so, because what angered me the most was the behavior towards my child. And in the end, that the people who have paid to be there, are not worth seeing the staff unhappy because they have sat down for breakfast! I hope that if we choose it again things will have been corrected, and everything will be as it should be for a hotel in the capital of the country with the prices that exist!

The room looked old badly decorated, not clean enough. We found the torn rug in the bathroom - a bit strange in the Best Western chain hotel which we know from other places in Europe. The location is not nice and the access to the restaurants and attractions is about 20-25 minutes walking. The value doesnโt match the comfort at all.

All in all, very good hotel stay - convenient location across the main street from the bus station and also right opposite the trams. Room was spacious, comfortable and airy. I was grateful to get my room available at 7.30 AM (after my overnight bus arrived from Bucharest) instead of the standard check in time of 2 PM. I did have to pay an extra 20 Euros for it however which seems a little unnecessary and steep since the room was clean and available but I guess it was a very early check in? IDK but I was was ultimately very grateful for the sleep I got that morning - so its all good..

I like this small hotel, I really do. The front desk staff is always welcoming and friendly. The location is very convenient: 1 minute to trams, 5 minutes to subway and trains, 15-20 minutes walk to the city centre, the supermarket nearby etc. The room was spacious and clean (although the bathroom needs a check, but it is a detail). AC in room is huge plus as well as the spacious laptop safe. Breakfast is reasonably rich, replenished frequently and everyone should be able to find appropriate meal per her/his likes. All in all - a very nice hotel for reasonable price. Thanks to the staff!
The bathroom and sink outlets were not draining properly.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Conveniently located 5 minutes walk to the bus station and itโs on the blue metro line. They have a parking lot on the side. Good WiFi. The room was small but all we needed. The staff were very helpful. The manager arranged for breakfast boxes as we had an early morning bus to catch. He also recommended a traditional Bulgarian restaurant about 10 minutes walk which was really nice.

Staff were extremely helpful. The lady who runs the breakfast room gets 10 gold stars. She works harder than any person in charge of breakfast rooms that I have seen - and I have seen a great many. The breakfast itself was excellent. The location is convenient to trains and buses.
There was mold growing around the shower enclosure and it leaked. This seems to be a trend but I hate the wall mounted bottles that one must squeeze hard to get soap. I am old with arthritis in my hands so I had a terrible time trying to get a couple drops of soap. I didnโt like the pillows. There were no restaurants nearby. I had to walk 15 minutes in each direction

It's clean, with very friendly and helpful staff. Regarding location, if you need an hotel near the train station this is as near as you can get and there are trams and the metro nearby to visit other parts of the city.
Overall, it's excellent value for what they charge.

The hotel is located in a very wonderful location, especially for those arriving by bus or train. Bus stations, subway stations, tram stations, everything is very close. The city center can be reached on foot in 20-30 minutes, enjoying the beautiful views. The hotel is modern, the breakfasts are delicious with a wide selection, there is a TV and, most importantly for me, an electric kettle in the room!
1. Many areas were very dusty, especially those that are not usually used (where the safe, extra pillows, lower shoe racks, etc. are located).
2. I asked for a room with a city view, but they gave me a mansard room.

Nice hotel next to central train station and metro. Parking just outside, clean, comfy and quiet. Big shower and varied breakfast. Restaurant right next door. Staff really friendly and helpful, they checked the opening hours of some attractions for us.
The bathroom vent was making a loud noise when it was on. The breakfast restaurant seemed a bit crowded at some points.

Two minutes from the bus station. Clean, modern and spacious place. Thank you Alex for accommodating me twice... checked out early in the morning, lost my bus, returned to the hotel and I was welcomed for another one hour until I find an alternative transport.
All good. The price relatively higher than expected but balanced with the convenience of the proximity to the station.
