Very well situated location - close to Vitosha Boulevard and NDK! The comfort of the room and bed was okay.

The toilet flush didn't stop trickling continuously after using it the first time due to a stuck flushing button. During my stay for one night, a match of the European Football Championship took place late and was watched in the reception area with other hotel guests. Unfortunately for me, that broadcast was very loud as well as the individual commentators in the reception's foyer since my room was next to the reception.

Nice older style hotel with lovely spacious room with plenty of bench space, seating area and a big comfortable bed. Our room has a large openable window with a pleasant leafy outlook. The room decor has a retro 70s feel which we didn't mind as everything seem well maintained. The hotel is located in a nice safe area of Sofia and within walking distance to major attractions. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The bathroom is a bit dated but it is clean.

They didn't clean the room during our stay. Was told by reception to tell them if you needed the room cleaned. So I did as my child has allergies and eczema, but the room wasn't cleaned again during our stay. For clean towels, we had to go down to reception to collect fresh towels. We paid city tax at check-in. Asked for a receipt, but was told no need as they have noted it down that the bill is settled.Then, when we checked out, the staff tried claiming we needed to pay city tax again. But I refused. Left with the feeling, they are dishonest and try scamming you if they can.

Large and modern designed room Support and help of Hotel staff in case you have an issue (I got a car park issue with the local authority and Hotel staff solved the issue) and it was very important for us.

At least we could have found some crackers or cookies in the morning. If the visit is by car, autopark opportunities should be checked before arrival.

We stayed only for one night, the first night of our trip, to get our bearings. The staff was friendly, the amenities sufficient, the room clean. The place didn't have breakfast, but it's in an excellent central location, and finding our own breakfast wasn't a problem. It's not a luxury place, but we knew that going in. Considering the low price we paid for this one night, it was a great value for money.

The location is nice (easy access via metro and supermarkets around) and quiet. For a business stay the good thing is that some rooms have a proper table and chair to sit on and work. Thus for a business stay I can recommend it too. But also for a tourist stay it is a good option as the main pedestrian zone and the big park is in direct neighborhood. Also the staff was communicative and could provide many helpful info.

The hotel is in a very central place in Sofia where you have everything in walking distance. It is old-fashioned but large rooms and comfortable beds. The staff was nice and supportive. A paid parking is just around the corner which is important as it is in Sofia blue zone.

The main thing I searched for was a place with parking. It says that there is parking, but it's not mentioned that it's paid (25 BGN for a night). The bed wasn't comfortable at all. The sheets didn't feel clean. Adjusting the hot water in the shower is a fight, that I lost. Also, there are other places for that price, that look better and have free parking. The place would be great after some renovations.

I got a last minute deal, so the price/quality ratio was appropriate. The room was quiet, which was great and supported a good night's sleep. Tea coffee and water were available in the lobby. Cleanliness could be improved a little, but nothing major. Not criticism, just something to be aware of: Prior to the stay I received some messages by scammers who pretended to be acting on behalf of the hotel. From the messages it was quite obvious that they were a scam. The hotel quickly notified me about the attempted scams.

+Good room size for three. +Good location for sights and restaurants. +Receptionist. +Pretty much unbeatable price for a stay like this in the city.

-The toilet paper is the kind that rips all over the place and definitely not cleanly at all. You end up wasting some abstract shapes that cannot be "utilized". -Not a drop of soap in the dispenser inside the shower box, so it was necessary to jump out to get it from the hand washing/sink area which was a minor inconvenience. -Cigarette stench came in the room through a certain part of the night. Either through the bathroom ventilation or the corridor. ::A lesson to other travelers (not directly related to the hotel, but this might be helpful when you visit). Taxi from the airport to this hotel is the most convenient way to arrive. I, generally speaking, recommend it. However, it can go well or ... not so well. The first time I visited the place, I took the Yellow! taxi (company name) and the ride cost around 15-20levas(half that in euros) from the airport to this very hotel. This time... I had to try the yellow taxi (color of the car, not company). There was a guy right in front of the line of Yellow! taxis (company) and seemed like one of those guys, who just points to your taxi. He, however, was the driver of a yellow taxi (color of the car) that belongs to a company called "OK supertrans" (OK as here, the rest in Cyrillic). Now, I knew this was not recommended, but I was curious and away we went. The drive went without an incident, nothing to complain. Then came the time to pay. The driver demanded nearly 80levas! Obviously I would not have it knowing how much it should cost. I challenged the driver so hard he forgot he spoke English and with the help of phone translation, he folded and I was not majorly ripped off. If you were wondering what the difference between the officially promoted taxi company and the scammy competition is, it's four times the charge. Hopefully this story is helpful to you all.

Very spacious room, I know the staff, very kind 24hours open reception, very big flat Tv, there is air-conditioning and central heat radiator, centre top location, quiet place! Nice price!

It was an affordable hotel in a place near a lot of interesting sites. We felt the staff were helpful and nice. They had free coffee and water in the lobby. The rooms were a decent size. The bathroom was good as well.

This hotel would be a million times better if it did not smell very strongly of cigarette smoke. This is probably my only complaint, but unfortunately it is a big one. The room they put us in was heavily coated in years of cigarettes. Our clothes smelled like it for days afterwards.
