Heater could be better, first day it couldnβt heat properly the the room, we asked for additional heater and duvet. Staff was helpful and gave both of them and it helped, second day it was better.

I was there for a very short time but I had a special request for a taxi to the airport at 4:30am that was fulfilled nicely.
I tried a light yoghurt meal and smoked my pipe in the smoking area, which was all fantastic, before going to see the Archaeological museum which they gave me directions for.
The shower, towels, and hairdryer were lovely to use.
Whilst I was sleeping, the soap dispenser fell off the wall and into the sink. It was stuck to the wall using a few sticky tabs. It didn't bother me since my stay was extremely short and everything else was great.
I notified the receptionist as I collected my breakfast before I left with the taxi.
I hope they have it fixed soon.

Continental breakfast. The buns were very good. Our room was a great studio apartment, very spacious. The heaters were on and we didn't feel cold despite the snow that fell during the night. The towels were spotlessly clean. I think it's great that the bathroom has a bathtub. We liked our room very much. The location of the hotel was also very good. 100 meters from Vitosha Boulevard. 10 minutes from the NDK metro station and 20 minutes from the Serdika station on the other side, which is the center of the city. I can easily recommend it to those who want to stay.
I think it would be better if fresh bread was served for breakfast instead of sliced ββpackaged bread, and if boiled eggs were served hot instead of cold.

we booked last minute for a one night stay on a cold 1st January. we were travelling with a wheelchair-bound old family member and the staff did everything possible to make sure we had a good stay. Very nice place. Access was through the side restaurant, and the lift was small but fitted the wheelchair. We stayed just for one night but had a nice time. Warm, very clean, modern, nice breakfast, friendly staff. near the pedestrian shopping street.
note that the surrounding streets (and the city in general) is not very wheelchair friendly, and nearby parking was not so easy. but this is not the hotels fault. they were great!

This is a cozy, unpretentious hotel with a family-run atmosphere, which suited me perfectly for this trip. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed, but never intrusive. Room was very large with a separate living room, including fridge and microwave oven. Slippers were provided. Breakfast buffet was quite satisfactory. The Greek restaurant next door was really good too and I dined there twice.
The bathroom only had a shower, but that didn't bother me on this trip. The lift is a bit small, which might be an issue if you have a lot of luggage, but wasn't a problem for me.

Very good location in the center of Sofia, decent breakfast options. The room was big, clean. There is no parking in the area but you can find some paid garages (the staff will recommend some) Another option is to use the public parking and pay with the app every 2h (free after 8PM and on sundays).

Really close to the main Vitosha street and Sofia mall, so less need for taxi. We took the metro from the airport and from the metro station was a 5 minute walk.
The third bed (in my room at least) was a retracting couch, not really that comfortable. The twin bed was excellent though.

Very nice hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was nice and warm. Great location - pretty much in the centre of Sofia. Good value for money. Breakfast had plenty of options.

The hotel has a very centric location, everything is close to walking distance. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The staff in the reception and the breakfast area was really good. Great value for money.
In case you have street view, the room can be a bit noisy.

The property is central and youβre in walking distance to the main shopping street Vitousha boulevard. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Central Sofia is small so easy to get around. If youβre getting a taxi make sure the taxi says yellow taxi on the cab itself as others can rip you off. Lots to do and see so you definitely wonβt be bored.
The room I was in which was a studio, was spacious and good hanging wardrobe for 1 or 2 people or family with small kids. The heating and aircon are controlled and I did have to ask them to turn the heating off as it was so hot. They did this and offered me another room, I declined as the temperature got better. The cleaning in my opinion wasnβt done satisfactory, the soap dispenser was never refilled and hoovering and mopping wasnβt often. But apart from those couple of things everything was fine.

2 min walk to the Vitosha Blvd and 4min to the Palace of Culture Metro station. A bit dated. However, was clean and comfortable with TV, fridge, hairdryer. Complimentary tea and coffee. One male receptionist was particularly knowledgeable and helpful and even made a bus reservation for me in Plovdiv

The best part of the hotel is its location and its staff. Dimitrof and the other black hair Bulgarian lady were amazing, kind, friendly, very helpful and very efficient. All the members of the staff were together to better serve its customers. The Ac in the room and living room worked perfectly. There was a fridge and enough storage to accommodate everything. The shower had plenty of hot water.The location of the hotel is extraordinary, just three blocks from the wonderful, lively and chic Vitosha Boulevard. Sofia is a hidden gem with very interesting and historical attractions, all of them, within walkable distances from the hotel. I had a marvelous time in Bulgaria and the hotel greatly contributed to my happy stay.
Breakfast could have more vegetarian choices.

Nice hotel in walking distance to the main pedestrian street, restaurants and a metro station. Good WiFi. The room was comfortable, and there is a Greek restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was good with eggs, fruit, cereal, toast, cheeses.
The AC unit in my room was very noisy. The room had a small balcony but there was no outdoor furniture.

Hotel Niky is a delightful place at the heart of Sofia. Major tourist spots in the city are a short walk away. The hotel staff is extremely courteous, helpful, and prompt with their replies and guidance. Breakfast is good and includes a variety of options. Overall, a very pleasant, comfortable stay and a great option while in Sofia!

The location canβt be beat, very close to Vitosha Boulevard and main attractions. The attached restaurant is great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast options were not huge however everything was very delicious.
Our room was one of the un-renovated ones, so the pictures were a bit misleading, but the room was still very comfortable and excellent. When we arrived there were bloodstains on the bed linens, but the staff member apologized and provided us clean ones immediately. Nothing else to complain about, great hotel!

I have been in Bulgaria many times, and when I look for a Hotel, Nicky Hotel is one of the first Hotels I look upon. Nice hotel, easily reached by Metro, central area.
The area is not scentic, it is in a street, so do not expect any window views.

I loved the made to order breakfast eggs and choice of quality breads for breakfast each morning. Svetan, at the front desk was charming. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
The coffee served at breakfast. Otherwise, nothing comes to mind.

Good hotel, worth for the money, great location in the center and close to pedestrian area on Vitosha street, good breakfast, good staff, even we were happy to find free space of public parking in front of the hotel with free Sunday parking but we get penalty 15 EUR in the Monday Morning at 09.00h
Parking problem, you must get up early in the morning to make payment for parking or get penalty 15 EUR + hourly payment
