Staff, bar.
Surrounding location seemed sketch but didn't feel unsafe. Pillows are too big on the beds.

The area is sketchy. The hotel room wasnt very clean. There was old dried pee on the bottom of the toilet.

I like the modern design. The room with 2 queen bed is a bit tight but just enough for a family of 3-4. The disposable coffee cup and lid in a sealed plastic is a great option for travellers on-the-go. Hotel staff is helpful and friendly.
The location might be a bit challenging for commuters. We took a cab going to the city centre and went back by train to Marlborough station then a cab to take us to the hotel. Car is a better option in this area.

This property is located at a busy section of Calgary with quick access to downtown, highway to Banff, airport, and top attractions. Rooms were plentiful and had a nice balcony to get fresh air and a view of the Saddledome.
The cost was high and compared to the 6 other hotels I've stayed at on this trip, it was not worth it. There were not a lot of good places to eat or shop at around the area, so expect significant driving. Fire station is just around the corner and makes for a loud night. Pool and gym were basic. Sad that breakfast was not included, nor was there even complimentary coffee or water in the lobby. Not sure what the gimmick is for giving guests cookies upon arrival but it an unnecessary expense that could be put into better things.

I LOVED the interior design, the overall aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful and it felt elevated, refreshing and classy. The complementary cookies offered at check in were to die for. We did have a slight hiccup in the lounge but the staff remedied the situation effortlessly and we ended up with a private sitting in the restaurant. Ended up being an exceptional experience.
Only feedback would be that I wasnt able to purchase cookies when leaving as they didnt have any available Otherwise the lounge could stand to have a bigger dedicated space as it felt a tad small and exposed to the hotel lobby, otherwise the hotel is wonderful.

The help an consideration from staff. After an unfortunate incident we got the help needed to the best of the staff as possible.
The price considering the location and no hot tub facilities wasn't very accommodating.

The location- we were going to the Stampede so it was close ; the atmosphere- the hotel lobby was decorated for the Stampede and the staff were very friendly.
We would have liked it if breakfast was included in the price to stay at the hotel- it seemed some people had breakfast included and others didn't.

Cleanliness, linens, mattress, parking all OK.
We were in room 106, in which continuous loud mechanical noise, present unrelentingly from check-in to check-out, made it well-nigh impossible to sleep. I speculate that it was HVAC noise, and that the HVAC system is located under 106. The room would have been fine if we were stone deaf. Hilton should stop renting room 106 at the Calgary 16th Avenue DoubleTree unless the noise can be eliminated.

Centrally located. Amenities were exceptional.
There wasnt a meeting room or conference room to have personal meetings via zoom. Further, then breakfast buffet options was below par for a hotel chain like Hilton

Staff is very nice and listens to the customer.
I was woken up at 3am by a mouse eating the welcome cookies the staff had given me. It was living in the AC unit and had pooped inside. I breathed that poopy air all night...
The staff on site was great and changed my room right away. It's not their fault but mice in the suites have me question how they check for cleanliness.
So no i didn't have a good stay
