Additionally, a couple of times we noticed that, after the room had already been made up, the entrance, living and bedroom area carpets still had some debris, wine and water glasses in the kitchenette still had fingerprints and chapstick marks on them, the soaking tub wasn’t fully scrubbed after being used, and there was still some hair on the bathroom floor in spots.

Beautiful decor in the lobby. Staff were lovely. The 2nd floor restaurant and lounge was nice. The drinks were really good. Bakery on the first floor was good. Long lines in the middle of the day on a weekend so you know it's good. Hotel room was clean and comfortable.

This is the second time we've stayed here because we like the location of the hotel, the rooms are spacious, the views are great (corner room always!), they are clean and trendy, really nothing we don't like about this place.

We stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed it. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great — easy walking distance to a lot of the main tourist spots and there were plenty of shops around too. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, with lots of good options to choose from.
The staff were helpful as well — they held our luggage for us before check-in and after we checked out, which made things a lot easier. There’s also a bakery and a really good restaurant right inside the building, which was super convenient. Overall, we had a really good stay.
Not really a criticism, but if I had to mention something, the in-room dining menu could have been a bit more comprehensive, especially considering how many great choices the hotel restaurant had. After a long day out, it would have been nice to have a few more options available to enjoy in the room. That being said, this definitely isn’t a complaint or anything that ruined the stay — just a small thing that would have made an already great experience even better.

I am a Marriot Bonvoy member. While the Valet service and staff were professional and excellent, the rest of the staff were not. The Front Desk staff were underwhelming to hostile and the dining options insufficient for our needs. Impossible to get meals at off times, the restaurant closed at 10 on a Friday evening--is this a destination or not? And when we tried to get a late night drink before 12 noon, they claimed to be closed while people were drinking inside. I have stayed at other Autographs in the US where the service met or exceeded expectations. Unfortunately the Humaniti Montreal operates more like a 3 star, even though the property is beautiful and central. For that reason it is overpriced. I would rather pay slightly more for Hotel Birks or Fairmont-QE where the service is excellent at all times and in all areas of the hotel.
Front Desk staff is rude and unhelpful.

Waits for elevator. Only two available which might have been enough for guests, but with non guests going to the outside facilities on the 9th floor there often were delays. Not one drawer in room so had to store most clothes in suitcases, but there was a closet to hang some items.

Beautiful contemporary design nicely appointed with well chosen art…the room had a great shower, Nespresso coffee machine…very comfortable bed, etc!
Plus there was a nice… but shallow outside, heated pool on a terrace on the 9th floor…

This place look pleasing but far from it, only good thing was it was close to places in the city
Our stay raised multiple service and operational concerns that management should address.
Wr arrived early to check-in, we waited over five hours for our room fair enough we were early. Later We were told it was ready, after i had to ask even though we were in the lobby right in front of them, then informed it had not been inspected, resulting in further delays. This reflects poor coordination and guest-service management.
Staff interactions were consistently cold and dismissive. As international guests who do not speak French, we felt unwelcome. During check-in, a staff member rolled her eyes while I retrieved my ID behaviour that is unprofessional and unacceptable in any hospitality setting. Considering the fact that international guests keep your hotel busy and making revenue.
We were explicitly told the pool was closed from November to May. On our final day, a caretaker advised us it had been open the entire time, operating daily from 10am. This contradictory information resulted in us missing an amenity we were entitled to and highlights internal communication failures.
Housekeeping was also inconsistent. After a full day in snow and slush, our room had not been serviced. It was only cleaned after we raised the issue and left again, returning around 7pm.
We paid for a suite, yet the view was of buildings on both sides, great view - NOT.
Finally, at checkout we were being advised that we were going to be charged again for a room that had already been paid in full an error that should never occur.
Overall, the lack of warmth, accountability, and service consistency fell well below the standard expected for a hotel of this calibre. Management should review staff training, communication, and guest-experience processes, particularly when hosting international visitors.

The main station of Montreal is in walking distance to the Hotel, which is great if you travel by public transport. The room was very clean and comfortable, the hotel itself looks very modern and new and of course clean as well. I'm already looking forward to my next stay in a few months. There's also a bakery in the building and a supermarket just over the street.
