We arrived before check in time. Luckily the room was free at that time and they've allowed us to check in early without additional cost which is super helpful as we were with our baby. Staff were friendly, location was amazong as it was just a few meters away from the tourist spots. 100% will go back here again

We didn't expect an elevators in a 4 story building. My wife was delighted with that. Expectation exceeded.
The terrace view is great and the seating where one can chill out.
I also want to compliment the Booking.com representative Samuel MVQ for going out of his way to send me instructions on how to get into the hotel after 10 PM. Without those we would have had a bad experience since our train was delayed.
I liked everything. One suggestion is to add scrambled eggs to the breakfast buffet instead of boiled eggs :)

The property is conveniently located right in the heart of Old Quebec! It is a great value for the price we paid! It is small but has a cute rooftop terrace with the view of Frontenac.
The only inconvenience we experienced was the fact that the shower did not have separate door. Luckily the toilet room did! But even with that, one of us was immediately woken up if another was using the sink or the bathroom. A little too close for comfort, we thought…

We stayed for 3 nights recently at this hotel. It is a great location and the rooms are well laid out but small. The rooms do have everything you need.
The location is awesome.
The entrance to the hotel has steps that are very steep. The hotel should mention this on the website and indicate what customers can do to avoid the steep steps. Is there a different entrance? It needs to be mentioned on the hotel website and also a sign by the main door. It is a huge challenge trying to enter the building with big suitcases.
They have free coffee that you can make using the coffee machine in the dining area in the basement. However, the coffee beans that are used aren’t that great because the coffee lacks flavor and tastes like hot water with a hint of flavor. The management should look into getting new variety of coffee beans that can make a robust and flavorful coffee. The coffee machine was used a lot by customers but when you enter the dining area there was no aroma of the coffee, which is kinda weird.
I would also recommend they display the name of the coffee beans that’s used and brand. If people like the coffee they might buy the coffee beans later. It will be a good marketing strategy.
Also put a sign about non-dairy milk. Are they available? How can customers get non-dairy milk if they need it. If you decide to not offer non-dairy milk that’s fine but must have a sign about it.
All the food should have labels with the name in French and English.
We enjoyed our stay but the hotel could work on things that I mentioned and it will really help in better customer service.
I teach hotel and restaurant management and handle have background in this field, thus I am providing these recommendations

It's in a good location and the beds are comfortable
1. I booked a family suite for 6. (There were 5 of us 2 adults and 3 children) Upon arrival, I was charged an extra $25 a day for each of my 3 minor children. I was shocked as I've never before heard of being charged for children staying in the room with parents, using existing beds and bedding. I was told I should have booked directly with the hotel and not through booking.com and if I had I could have avoided the charges. There was nothing we could do but pay the extra money because we had already paid for the room through booking.com and could not get a refund.
2. We stayed in room #6 (in the basement) The air conditioning was broken the entire duration of our stay, despite reporting the problem after the first night. The air conditioner leaked and flooded the whole floor. After we complained, I stopped back later in the day to check the AC status and was told to just leave it off until it could be fixed (it never was)
3. The dehumidifier also stopped working on the first night. In the humid August weather, with broken leaking air conditioning and no dehumidifier the room was very damp and uncomfortable.
4. The cappuccino machine was "out of order" every time we tried to use it.
5. The roof top terrace is a joke. We climbed to the top of 2 steep sets of stairs (no lift) only to find it locked. (Picture of steps included)
6. Others have mentioned the steep stairs and heavy door leading into the hotel. The response from the hotel was that someone would be "happy to help" but there is no bellhop or doorman, so no way to alert anyone that you need help without leaving your luggage on the sidewalk. The stairs are seriously steep, and uneven (the last step on the bottom is a doozy) The hotel should, at very least, provide a bell to ring for help, or, even better, have someone stationed at the door to help with bags or hold the door for you.

The staff were friendly and helped with traveling ideas. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a wonderful rooftop terrace with views and sitting areas, a perfect place to relax and visit. They also have a large room downstairs to gather, play games, or have a glass of wine. In addition, there is a spa, another place to relax. The location was close to everything!!
The staircase up the front door was steep, but there was another flat entrance around the back of the property, which was helpful.

Location, location, location! The staff were wonderful. The hotel was clean. Please realize you can enter through the back door (no steps)! They have an arrangement with a parking garage down the street, easy in, easy out, 1 daily fee. There is a lounge on floor 0 with a coffee maker, wine by the glass (for a fee) and comfortable chairs. There is also a rooftop deck. We will be back!

Hotel is located is walkable to historic sites and many restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and always willing to assist.
There were a couple of minor issues with my room which I brought to the attention of the staff and there was no follow-though.

The location was excellent. Just steps from the Chateau and the Terrasse. It had a wonderful rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the Chateau and the St. Lawrence.

the hotel is in a great location - the staff was very helpful - the room was great -the roof top lounge area was a nice feature
the breakfast really sucked - for the amount of money paid I wish I knew a head of time it was so bad and I would have not paid for it - the coffee machine had issues every day. sad very sad - Mc Donald's breakfast would have been better

for the money we spent the accommodations were sparse, not enough towels, breakfast was not worth eating it seemed like they were in process of upgrading rooms so they didn't have the amenities we are used to i.e basic lotion, Bed was comfy hard to leave the correct review as we were close to all we wanted and staff was fantastic but it was after staying at a Marriott and Hyatt in other cities this was a disappointment we also spent no time in the room during the time we were there so the shower and bed were great..

I listen to others that Sade the breakfest was wonderful for the price. We did not have it. No time.
The stairs to go inside. Had to have a key to go in the back door. Hard with bad legs.

The staff was very in attentive. We arrived around 2 o’clock and were told to come back at four, at 4 o’clock our rooms were still not ready. We stayed for two nights and on the second day our room was never cleaned, very disappointing because we paid over $400 a night and expected better service

The location was exceptional, and the hotel receptionists, both Edouard and Samuel, were very helpful.
For the price, I expected the better amenities and service. The towels were not the freshest. There was a toiletry set only for 1 person, although the room is for 2. No robes etc. Very standard accommodation for the price of 6 star hotel. ((

The location in the Old City was lovely. We were close to history and restaurants. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast was not included but a small breakfast was available for a charge. Coffee and tea were available at no additional charge.
