This is a historic old home graced with charm by genuinely good people. Liked: Breakfast was delicious. Conversations with the hosts and other guests were delightful. I do not want to leave. Disliked: Having to leave!

Exceptional Liked: The hosts were wonderful and helpful in recommending some local restaurants/ wineries. Breakfast was excellent and of good quality with some of the items from local farms. We loved the fruit salad. We will definitely return when visiting Norfolk County again.

I'd stay again if in the area. Liked: Breakfast was excellent, and they moved the time to accommodate my need for early departure. Disliked: There is no railing on the front steps, but once again they quickly accommodated me, by pointing out the rear entrance that was completely accessible.

Lovely place in a lovely place. Liked: Period property in lovely area. Port Dover is just down the road and worth a visit. It sits on the shores of lake Eerie. The property was excellent, and the rooms charming. Disliked: Nothing.

Great place in a great location. Liked: The Culverdene is a beautiful old house in a garden setting. The hosts were very friendly. An excellent variety of choices for breakfast and ours was delicious. The house is close to Port Dover and the town of Simcoe. We would absolutely return.

Liked: I liked that I could relax and take time to breathe, I don't get that very often with what I do for work. The food was incredible, and I honestly felt like a princess in the way that they served me. It was exactly what I needed.
