We stayed a week at Sonder; we enjoyed the neighbourhoods surrounding the hotel. Up north you had the Dundas West neighbourhood, down south was just Queen St W. Both these sections of Toronto had great places to eat! We frequented the ROOMS Coffee around the corner and cannot recommend this place enough. The gym was fully equipped and very well-kept.

Mostly clean and spacious room. Very spacious apartment. Cordial and helpful hosts and front desk associates. Spotless and spacious loo. Plenty of towels and pillows. Immaculate and comfy bed. Close to bus stops. Free laundry within the apartment. Good heating system.
No loo in the lobby. I found a dead mosquito in my room and it is slightly far from downtown. It took a while for the front desk associate to arrive to help with luggage storage and collection but never mind.

This place for amazing! Everything was super clean, staff was friendly, everything for prepared perfectly with a simple way to check-in and out, including leaving the suitcases behind for a bit, everything for very ok price. The hosts even ok with me extending the stay for one more day when I made a mistake when booking it. I was always happy about my stay :)
The last night there was a slight hum audible outside of my bedroom, but it wasn't loud and was ok.

My accommodation had literally every single thing I could possibly need. Heating system was easy to use and worked great, location made getting around super easy (I walked everywhere).
If you arrive late it can be a little difficult to get something to eat in the surrounding area.

The taxi from the airport was much appreciated, especially as it started snowing when we landed, driver was very helpful and friendly. It was easy to get into the building and the studio, friendly staff at the reception. Walking distance to tram/streetcars that got me to Kensington Market, the Harbour, Ontario Gallery etc with no issue, bus stop right in front of building.
The area is going through a regeneration, lots of what looked like new empty buildings, and roadworks. Didn’t like the view overlooking a warehouse or some sort of works yard. Communal areas, not including the reception area, need more regularly cleaning. This is second time booking with Sonder and everything is just ok for the price, the in person staff are great but the online/APP staff - maybe AI, I don’t know, but they aren’t helpful, particularly when things don’t go to plan.

The staff were outstanding in their friendliness and helpfulness. When I requested a change, they immediately reacted and were able to accommodate my wishes. The room was clean, modern, well stocked and very comfortable.
The advertising for the room when I booked it had different pictures of the room than I had wanted. (Some rooms face a wall of windows from another building and I always reject those when booking my accommodations. But this booking showed a clear view - my number one priority - which it definitely didn't have. However, the staff were able to move me to a room with a much better view which I very much appreciate!)

Restaurants were just short uber rides away.
Had to text hotel staff/management for everything I needed anything or had a question regarding the room.
I found it challenging to set the temperature just right for us.
Would have been great to have a small coffee shop on site as we were there in the middle of winter.
Bedrooms were small although the common areas were fine.

Everything, very comfortable and stylish apartment, nice location, super good support and helpful staff, they solve problems in no time. The bed has top quality mattress and pillows, you can really relax there. I can also admit that they pay attention to every details, even all the beauty products are from Davines which is super cool.

Nice location with paid garage parking. Has good washer and dryer. Small apartment ideal for single stay, but for couple it’s too tight and nowhere to seat together for breakfast.
the ventilation hole on ceiling is pointing towards the bed and blowing right into you head. So if you heating or cooling the apartment it will blow into your head while you sleep. Really bed architecture decision.

Location was great. Easy to walk to restaurants and had an excellent dinner at Antler and breakfast at the Federal in little Portugal. Apartment was awesome, didn’t stay long enough to use most of the amenities though. It was nice to be able to check in, park and get straight to our room easily. Also felt very secure and private.

The location relative to Queen Street was fantastic. The apartment was very clean and updated. It was extremely easy to get in and out of the building, which felt very safe and comfortable.
