The location is the heart of the downtown and near the metro stations and Tahrir square! The road is very active till midnight and you feel safe around and you can shop around and good restaurants are around!
The room was very clean and the basic facilities were there! There is a lift in the building
The staff was professional and I was received by Mery
The hotel is located in an old building so the entrance is not really welcoming and a bit noisy in the night but I was not sensitive to noise to sleep!

I mean literally hidden gem, I am sad I did not find this place earlier
It looks like an old college dorm that is on the 7th floor of a run down building. However the inside looks great. Reception speaks perfect English and I got an upgrade for my stay.
Had an early flight to catch so I didn't have breakfast, but honestly I am surprised the nightly rate is low considering the room and professionalism

Good location to explore the city, super convenient near the center with a real vibe of central Cairo. Room to be paid upon arrival, USD accepted at official rate (1:30 in December 2023). Breakfast 100LE, nothing too fancy but way enough and we liked it. The staff is very kind and helpful.
The noise from the street is quite a nuisance (constant honking just kinder the windows, which have no isolation whatsoever), even if it gets better between midnight and 6am. The hotel itself is cozy and clean, but the building is very shabby and dirty on foreign standards.

The hotel was centrally located so we could walk to the Egyptian Museum and the Khan El Khalili market. The room was clean and had a tiny balcony and working AC and hot water! Beds were pretty good!
The room was very cramped but thatโs not surprising at the price we paid.

Very nice and extremely helpful staff! Large room (although mine was on the street side and rather noisy until midnight). Very central location. The entrance is a bit off-putting at first, the building is being renovated(?), but the hotel absolutely met my expectations. And the price-performance ratio is definitely very good.

The location is really good and surrounded by many shops and food. It is walking distance to the Egytian Museum too.
The staff are also very friendly and allow me to keep my luggage and stay at the lobby until 9pm since my flight is delayed.
The street noise could be an issue if you can't sleep with a honking sound. The noise from the street could have lasted until midnight.

Located in downtown Cairo, this hotel has everything at your doorstep. Cairo Museum is about a 12-minute walk, there's tons of restaurants and stores near/next to the hotel, and you can easily flag down a taxi at the exit. The staff was amazing, super helpful (even had help with my last minute shopping), and friendly. The room was comfortable with everything I needed for my 1 night stay. It was super quiet with no traffic noise.

I spent a couple of.nights in room 205. This room, as well as the entire hotel space from what I could see appeared to have been very recently renovated. or either it is maintained extremely well. Whatever the case may be, room 205 was spotless. I suspect the other rooms are also. Another thing I liked about this room was the silence. Other than the occasional sound of other doors on the floor opening and closing and some conversations I heard outside my door, in the hallway, it was a very quiet space. The staff was also very responsive. This is particularly important in this hotel because the main door to access all the rooms on the second floor is closed and locked between midnight and 08:00 and can only be unlocked from the outside. So, if you want to leave the floor between midnight and 08:00 to go outside, you must use a phone hanging on the wall beside the door to call someone to come and unlock the door for you from the outside. I had to leave my room a couple of times between.midnight and 08:00 and someone was there to unluck the door within a minute everytime, so this set up doesn't pose any significant inconvenience.
The one thing that I didn't like is the attempt that the staff made to sell me a Nile River boat cruise. The receptionist made a deliberate point to do this immediately after I checked in and after that the gentlemen that led me to my room did the same thing. Not that they did this in a rude way or anything like that but every visitor to Egypt already knows about Nile River cruises and that literally every hotel in Egypt can arrange these, as well as any other type of outing. No one needs to be informed of this, certainly not more than once even before they have reached their room for the first time. I suppose this hotel has a deal with someone who operates one of these cruises. Anyway, I'm interested in wasting my money on a river boat cruise, so I politely declined.

The hotel was in very good location in the downtown Cairo and the room is clean and of decent size and for a good value. What made me use this hotel twice during my trip to Egypt was the friendliness of the staff. Also the hotel is on 7th floor and 2nd floor of the building. The 7th floor's corridor to the room is guarded by the front 24x7 and 2nd floor's corridor has a key lock to the corridor that leads to room (prevents outsiders to enter room), so safety wise I feel this hotel is very safe too. They also organize tours and if you need any advice about navigating Cairo you can always ask the front, like family.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Central Cairo Hotel, the staff were all SO friendly and welcoming. The ladies at the desk and also the gentlemen at the desk in the afternoon were very interested in chatting with us, which gave the place a personal touch.
The ladies in the kitchen were very friendly and helpful and nothing was ever a problem. We thank you all SO much but we're sorry we can't remember all your names. We do remember Asmaa, so Asmaa can you please pass on our best wishes to all of the staff that were there to assist us.
Breakfast was very good, with yogurt and banana and an omelette with plenty of different kinds of breads and some orange drink.
The rooms were quiet and away from the noise in Downtown Cairo but the hotel is very handy to everything.

The room was good for 2 nights. It was clean and everything worked.
The hotel is almost impossible to find unless you know what you're looking for. There are no signs, zero indication where the hotel is. You have to go down a dark alley between 2 buildings, go up a creepy elevator (unmarked) to the 7th floor to check in, then back down to the second floor where the rooms are. I stood outside and walked around the block twice before I looked at the reviews, where someone posted turn by turn directions. If it wasn't for that, I'd still be out there. PUT UP SIGNS!

Location, price, staff. The shower was nice, and the bed was soft and comfy.
Stayed for 5 nights and got only one towel and half of the toilet paper roll. There was one wardrobe in the room, but it smelled badly, so I did not use it.
The bed was comfortable and smelled clean, but had some stains and some hairs that were not mine.
Itโs near the main road, so expect loud noises and honking long into the night.
