- Very nice staff - I sent a parcel post and the receptionist received it without problems, calling me upon receipt. Very professional - One of the hotel employees speaks Italian very well (as well as English of course) and she is very kind, ready to help guests at any time, making them feel at home - Position is very good: hotel are close to the Egyptian Museum (5 minutes walking) and in any case with taxis (Uber in particular) from that area of the city you can move very well. The airport is half an hour away and with Uber you spend about 3,50 euros.

- The credit card machine didn't work when we arrived. However, it is a situation that can also be found elsewhere. We paid cash without problems

Located centrally and a stone's throw from the museum it is quite convenient.

There is far too much noise from people talking to the staff at all hours of the night to the noise of the bathroom being used in the adjacent room. They need to soundproof the room doors as that is where the noise enters the room. My sleep was interrupted each night. The price of excursions to the Pyramids is far above their competitors which is why I booked with the hotel next door, The Cairo Inn. To see Giza, Sakkara and Mephis I was quoted 100 USD vs the Cairo Inn's 75 USD.

the hotel is located in a good area close to the Egyptian museum and 10 min drive to khan el khalili good to stay her if you plan on exploring cairo and not staying at the hotel

the room looked nothing like the pictures very small room i had stains on my bed sheets the bathroom ceiling looks like its gonna fall on you i would say stay here if you need a place to rest for few hours or to keep ur luggage but not a good place for a long stay in my opinion

REVIEW FOR MIRAMAR DOWNTOWN - close to downtown - friendly and accomodating staff - helped with transfers and bags - allowed us to check out early and refunded us as we changed our plans - comfy beds

- confusion around checkin when we arrived - no one let us know we needed to check in at the sister hotel downtown. This was not a pleasant experience rocking up at 4:30am in the morning and the driver telling us to get out at the wrong hotel and going around in circles to work out what was happening. (We ended up staying in the downtown location because we couldnt be bothered changing location) - EFTPOS machine wasnt working

The only things I liked were the bed, which was quite comfortable, and the shower, as the temperature of the water was steady most of the time. When I was leaving, I was forgetting my phone charger, and one of the help staff noticed and informed me.

Pretty much everything. The advertisement on the website describes the room with tons of commodities, and in reality, there are almost no commodities, not even a hairdryer was available. I upgraded to a room with a city view, and the view I had was the front building and some strange machinery (images attached). The room wasn't soundproof, as described as well, I could hear all the cars honking outside, day and night, as well as people talking in the reception! The air conditioning was so windy even with no fan selected, and the only remote control was on the wall. The Wi-Fi was very unstable and was always disconnecting, impossible to have any calls in WhatsApp or watch anything on YouTube. I met 2 receptionists and neither was nice to me, not even a smile. Also, I had my friend meet me outside the hotel, and they started asking intrusive questions to my friend about his intentions (which is none of their business), and they wouldn't let my friend inside, not even in the reception. Even the breakfast was so disappointing (images attached). Basically, nothing met the description as advertised. Utterly disappointing. Definitely won't stay there again, and won't recommend the hotel.

We had a great time at the hotel. It is a bit hidden in weird a building but once you arrive at the second floor the hotel is pretty normal. It is in a great location. The employees are nice. The room was great for a really cheap price. I recommend this place.

The only thing I can complain on is that they ask tourists to pay cash in dollars or euros but they dont always have enough change in the currency that you paid in.

Not very clean, bedbugs as we both came out in spots after the first night and also when they made up the room they put dirty duvet on as they had stains. When putting AC on it smelt like gas so that wasnt good. Staff were really nice though. Breakfast was basic

Really low value for the money.. the room (which is called superior double room) is very tiny and the bathroom is so small and really hard to move at that it gives you anxiety (I am a small person, not sure how taller/heavier people may use this space). The bathroom was broken as well and the least they can do is to check the facilites beforehand.
