About Château de Challanges

Château de Challanges is a renovated 19th century country house set in 7 hectares of forest. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, just 2 minutes from the A6 leading to the south of France. The guest rooms and suites at Château de Challanges are elegant in style and offer high ceilings.

Some have a private balcony and some are decorated in an original style according to their historical name. Breakfast is served in the bright breakfast room or on the terrace overlooking the grounds. Guests may have a drink in the bar.

The chateau was very clean and room was nice. The bed was comfy. Breakfast for 16 euros was enjoyable and had bread and protein choices with fresh fruit and expresso maker. The pool was heated and clean. We enjoyed our stay. Staff was helpful making dinner reservations.

Absolutely beautiful property set in the picturesque French Countryside. The Chateau itself was like something out of a postcard - stunning entrance, lounge and interiors. Loved all of it! We stayed in the Suite and it was beautiful and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful organising taxis and buses as we didn't have a car. Great restaurants in next village.

Very nice hotel. We were in the newly build rotunde rooms which were great for a family of 5 as the room where together in a separate building. Parking facilities were very good and spacious as well even for a large SUV. Staff was super nice, helped us with dinner reservations and recommendations.

The owners of the chateau (who took over about a year or two ago), are very pleasant and welcoming. They are doing renovations in phases, and the chateau can only get more comfortable over time.
