Great central location close to all amenities - walking distance to tourist sites, bars & restaurants. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Nice rooms. Common areas nicely furnished and welcoming. Breakfast optional, but a nice continental selection. The hotel has a small bar and prices reasonable. I would definitely stay there again.
Nothing significant. Rooms not that big, but perfectly adequate for a short break. The hotel has no parking of its own, which was made clear in the hotel description prior to booking There is a multi storey underground parking adjacent to hotel at a cost of 22 euros a day, although hotel does offer a modest discount on this.

Excellent location and value, very clean and the breakfast more than adequate. Staff were helpful and clear with their instructions.
Recommend porridge and other options during the colder months. Would suggest a more flexible shower head adjustment control. The three of us sharing room 207 were of the opinion that an adjustable rail would be more effective.

The staff was great too. . They were very helpful and always a smile on their faces.
The breakfast could be better. Overall our stay in this hotel was enjoyable. Will recommend to friends.
Breakfast could have been better.
The room could have been a little bit bigger than we had. But not really a deal breaker if you’re staying only for a day or two.

Great location in the middle of the town. Rooms are comfortable and provide sufficient space. Staff are friendly.
At night the entrance is closed and the reception has to be called via phone - a simple card reader or doorbell would really help. Breakfast was standard good but slow in restocking.

The staff were pleasant and professional. They have to be nice…The hotel is very convenient to centre of town, shops, restaurants. BUT UNFORTUNATELY this hotel has a massive noise problem which wipes away all the good.
The mental stress of EXCESSIVE NOISE of 100s of drunk students outside the hotel. EVERY THURSDAY - SUNDAY. This is no ordinary noise, it is a massive, rising, echoing screams, fighting, singing, vomiting till 04.30 am. Then the delivery trucks and garbage and cleaning trucks. So, you stay awake all night. There is no sound proofing, so if your room has the lively views of the park. The hotel staff apologize and offer you ear plugs! Seriously. They claim to call police and complain to the mayor. But they refuse to install double glazing which would solve the issue or at least reduce the noise. It’s because their competition across doesn’t have it so why should they. But they will take your money, blame you for choosing a city centre hotel and shrug sadly. The rooms have thin walls, you can hear people breath, the doors slam, the rooms shake, so to add insult to injury. Infuriating. Don’t stay here, it is a tourist trap and scam to rip off poor u suspecting guests, I use that term loosely as you are certainly not treated as such. Shame on this hotel and its management. They charged €154 for Thursday night and I walked out ill, tired and shaking from having travelled for hours amd not slept all night.

Great location, clean room, hot power shower, comfortable bed. Probably the best hotel we stayed in during our time exploring Normandy.
The restaurant downstairs does a great three course menu for 25 euros and serves food until about 9.30pm.
Don’t miss the Farmers Market round the corner for breakfast bits if you’re in Caen on a Sunday.
Parking is at a public car park opposite. It’s 22 euros overnight BUT to get the modest 3 euro hotel discount you have to go to hotel reception BEFORE you drive in to the carpark.

The location in town was within walking distance to historic sites, shops, and restaurants. Public parking is conveniently located across the street from the hotel.
The upgraded rooms in the front of the hotel are very nice and overlook a park. Unfortunately there is a lot of activity in the park at night so keeping the windows open isnt feasible (and the rooms get hot in the afternoon and evening with the sun.)

Location is great, room so so - bed large but not of very good quality. Service is good.
A bit pricey becasue you can get the same class of lodging in the area for 25% less. However, Best Western is a good brand.
A little noisy on the square. Bed not really great. Room a bit cramped, and bathroom just ho hum.
Would have been better with a smaller bed, we had a king, and more room in the remaining space, like for a nice table to eat on, work on. There was a table, but just under the TV and cramped.

Great location on old town square. Easy walk and great public transport nearby.
No bartender on duty at the time. Bar was run by check in staff so could not easily get a drink when check in is busy. Plenty of other places to go nearby but hotel lost out on additional revenue by not having bartender on duty.
