The location was superb, right in the heart of Colmar. The room was a really good size and so was the bathroom with a separate toilet. Fantastic shower. Only downside was the room was very warm and not an easy aircon to work out how to make it a bit cooler.
A good choice for breakfast although the breakfast serving area is quite small and can only have 2-3 people at once.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The spiral staircase was really nice. The theming was great and lots of nice furniture throughout. Right in the middle of Little Venice which is exactly where we wanted to be and only a short walk to the centre of town. The car park was an added bonus and although a little pricey and awkward to find, it was secure and I felt better knowing the car was away somewhere.
There was a small step from the room to the hallway which caught us out every time.
You could hear the street outside but it didn’t really affect our visit.

Location, location and location! The staff is welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We took advantage of a Booking offer and for $15 upgraded to a suite which gave us plenty of room. Another perk in the list of offers was 2 glasses of wine. We parked our car on the street outside the hotel’s front door and used the EasyPark APP to take care of the reasonable fee.

We were greeted by Isolde and Charly, who were wonderful. They got us checked in, and then Charly took our bags and showed us to our room. The hotel is just beautiful and has very nice sitting and gathering areas. Our room was very clean and our bed was really comfortable. The hotel is in the perfect location, with Little Venice being right down the street and the old city right there, too. Marion was very helpful, she gave us a map and showed us where everything was located. Everything is walkable.

This gorgeous hotel is right in the heart of old Colmar. I was upgraded to a suite, two fights of stairs up, and with various sloped ceilings, definitely not for anyone with mobility issues so my advice would be to spell out any such concerns before you arrive. I was delighted with my upgrade, with its little views onto a quiet canal. The breakfast was really good. Gorgeous pain au chocolat and nice coffee. From the hotel you go on foot to explore this beautiful city. Side note: if you’re into wine, try Les Cercle des Aromes. Fabulous wine bar that does a great cheese and charcuterie platter.

Great location for exploring Little Petite Venice on foot. We requested a room in the main building and it was very nice and roomy. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
This was our second time staying here and in a different room from the first time. The beds are very uncomfortable as I am a side sleeper. Not sure that I would stay again for more than one night unfortunately because of how hard the beds are. They provide a hairdryer but it is a small travel sized hair dryer that requires you to depress and hold the button while in use. Not very easy to do when drying long hair.

Breakfast wasn't what online comments make it out to be. The choice was fine, the coffee good and the croissants excellent. But the cooked breakfast had very overcooked scrambled eggs and the bacon was soggy bathing in liquid and very salty. Surprisingly enough the baguette was soft as was the pain au chocolat.
The room was too hot though1we kept the window open at night.

Second time we stayed at this hotel and last time it was better. Maybe because it was the Easter weekend and the hotel was nearly fully booked this time. Wifi connection was poor and slow. The towels in the bathroom were so thin that some had holes in them. Had to tell reception twice in 4 days that our bathroom ran out of shower gel (we had 3 rooms) because housekeeping forgot to refill it. The buffet area is very small, so it gets very crowded at breakfast when the hotel is fully booked. Little details, but when they add up, it is not in line with what you expect from a hotel in this price category

In a perfect location in "Little Venice" in Colmar, the hotel is very comfortably appointed and the staff were great. The breakfast was the best of our three-country trip, with many options, even including some bubbly!
Our main concern was with the bathtub/shower, with the bathtub being set high enough that even for me at 5'11" I had to be very careful stepping in and out. More so for my wife, who is somewhat shorter. I think it would be a possibly insurmountable challenge for someone with limited mobility or other physical issues, so I suggest confirming with the hotel as to the type bathtub/shower arrangement you're reserving (they did say there are other types of arrangements available, so check first). The only other thing that we weren't expecting was that we upgraded to a suite, but the second "room" was in fact a long hallway with some bunk beds. Maybe our fault, but we had expected an actual room where we might relax.

What truly deserves more than five stars is the staff. They were amazing – helpful, respectful, very sweet, and kind. It was a real pleasure to meet them, and they honestly made our stay 100% better.
The location is excellent, just a short walking distance to the lovely town center. It’s a beautiful and quiet little town where you can enjoy walking around, and you can also easily visit nearby cities such as Strasbourg, Basel in Switzerland, or Eguisheim.
I had requested connecting rooms, but they were not available. However, the hotel kindly upgraded us to better rooms and ensured we were next to each other since we were traveling as a family – a very thoughtful gesture. They also included breakfast even though it wasn’t part of my booking, which was extremely kind.
Breakfast itself was excellent – fresh, delicious, with a good variety of essentials. Everything was well prepared and always restocked, which we really appreciated.
We also booked a parking space at the hotel garage for our car, which felt very safe as it was monitored by CCTV. Street parking in front of the hotel was often full, so the garage was the best option. The only thing to note is that the parking spaces and street to the garage are a little tight, especially if you have a large SUV, so you need to be a confident driver. Still, it was very close to the hotel and convenient.
In short: the rooms were good, the location was excellent, and the staff were beyond amazing. A truly memorable stay that I would highly recommend. When I return to Colmar, I will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent, with many choices and excellent cappuccino . Staff was very efficient and pleasant.
Very nice location in a quiet area but, very close to most of the old town.
I think when booking, if the room requires walking up many steps with suitcases,
it should be explained before booking. That is the only small problem.

The hotel was clean, comfortable in a central, safe location, walking distance to the train station (be wary of walking with heavy suitcases over cobblestone streets though), walking distance to numerous Colmar city center sites, cafes, restaurants and shops. I love that the hotel staff is super friendly. Other hotel perks are that it has a small but practical fitness center, sauna and great breakfast.

We requested a first floor. Well they have an inside court yard that you can use. One night our room smelled like cigars. I would imagine during the summer months it’s pretty loud too.
