The ibis Styles Nancy is in the heart of Nancy; a city known for its classical architecture demonstrated in World heritage buildings, such as those at Place Stanislas. Guest rooms are stylish and contemporary and offer views of a flowered garden or the hotel’s inner courtyards. All rooms come with a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower, flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi internet access.
The hotel has a cozy bar where guests can enjoy a drink, and there is also breakfast service in the dining area. After breakfast, you can enjoy a session in the sauna, for an extra fee. Nancy TGV Train Station is 165 ft away and the convention center is a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Ibis is value for money. Location is central. The lady at the reception was very helpful. Parking is extra 12 euros but it is worth it as it is secure and there are some covered spots as well. The inner courtyard is a great spot to relax on a warm summer evening. It is a very decent 3 star hotel.
There was nothing I did not like. I got what I paid for, so really happy.

We go a 3 person room with a double bed and a sofa bed for the kids. They were super happy with the sofa bed because it could be a double bunker. Our rooms were not next door but only 2 rooms away. Breakfast offered vegetarian options and had really good Chinese green tea which I didn't see at much higher end hotels. Oh and the gym was another attraction for the kids. It was not super big but all the Equipments were in good condition and clean. Very nice surprised. Park was next to the building, no walking needed. It was right at the centre of the city, 10 mins walking to the central square with all kinds of restaurants. They packed a lunch box for 5 of us on the last day. Was a nice surprise!
Nothing.

Position - the hotel is only 10-15 minutes walking distance from city centre
Breakfast was good
Overall the room was clean
Staff is nice
- the address of the car park is different from the hotel address. While I asked the day before this question, nothing was said. We arrived at the hotel and had to ask twice to get the address...
- breakfast: we were asked to choose a 30 minutes slot to have breakfast because the following day would have been too crowded. If you are on holiday with your family...it is not easy to predict the exact slot ,(and you don't want to). First time this happened to me
- Room isolation not good. In addition, the electric switcher for the bedroom is the same of bathroom. Hence, you cannot switch light of bathroom without switching on bedroom. Result? If someone goes to toilet in the night will turn on the light of bedroom.

Breakfast was okay,
Parking a nightmare. It has a private car park but it is on a different street with a different hotel entrance.. The issue is that is no drop off at the advertised hotel address and therefore you need to block half the road, (2 lanes one way) in order to queue at reception to get directions to car park.
Booked twin room but only double available - hotel not interested

Easy parking behind the hotel with direct access to the hotel; cosy courtyard with trees and tables; room with real instruments for the kids to "play" with; good variated breakfast; very nice and welcoming staff; close to the city center (10-15 mminutes to Place Stanislas)
The hotel looked a bit worn-out, and the room was slightly old fashioned.

Good secure car park for off street parking (including motorcycles). Great staff and everything was clean.
No trace of booking when I checked in. After some keyboard work we got a room. Key card didn’t work when we got back from having tea and the staff member’s card struggled, eventually got in but couldn’t shut the door when we went for breakfast as we’d have been locked out again.

Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. Nice band room and Fooseball table at the lobby.
Firstly, the pictures are either outdated or overly photoshopped. Quite shocking at first when we arrived as the hotel and the rooms look nothing like the pictures.
It was dilapidated.
Our rooms smelled like faeces and there was a very loud water noise at 4am. To some extent, the hotel itself was quite creepy. We closed the toilet door before we left the room for dinner (as the odour was unbearable). We came back to a really smelly room to find the toilet door open.
Made us feel very uneasy. Low key creeped us out.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The room itself was very good, offering a pleasant and well-maintained space. The breakfast was truly amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.
One design aspect that might be a drawback for some is the open shower concept, with no door separating it from the main room. Additionally, the toilet lacks its own sink; the sink is located near the shower.
