Our stay was to our satisfaction and the accomodation was good as it also had a little fridge, water cooker etc. which was very useful! Shower was perfect as was the size of the room and the airconditioning. Breakfast was perfect!
The mattress of the 2-person bed was very soft at the sides and made you have the feeling that you could roll out of the bed. I think that one was ready for replacement. The toilet has a strange nasty smell which we sprayed away with deodorant.

The hotel was located adjacent to the canal a short walk from Stanislas Place. Reception was friendly and polite and we got access to our room before the 3:00pm check-in time.
There was secure parking below the hotel which was convenient but expensive.
This is not a Novotel standard hotel. It is an Ibis Budget at best. The room was large and equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. But the entire bathroom, toilet and kitchenette was modular made from fibreglass/ plastic and looked cheap and nasty. Not a tile anywhere to be seen. There was a nasty odour in the toilet which persisted.
Btw, I’m from Australia, not HongKong.

The breakfast, is unbelievable! You have to try it. Fresh fruits (no pre bought cubes in juice), fresh oranges to make your own juice, delicious buffet of bread and jams… this is a gorgeous and high standard breakfast for this kind of hotel. Bravo!
Maybe the parking space is a bit small, and could use an update for electric cars. Would be a plus

Very easy to find and had secure underground parking. Check in very easy and friendly. The room was large and well specified. Everything was clean and comfortable and worked well. Plenty of towels, all nice and fluffy. It looked like quite a large property but we didn't hear any noise during the night at all.
Nothing. Everything about the hotel was as advertised and very good.

The location was convenient and the breakfast was well conceptualized, my daughter enjoyed it. the rooms were large and was adequate for us.
The underground parking was annoying to keep indicating to the reception we had reserved for parking every outing and opening the parking gates took significant amount of time. Also, the hotel gave us expired packaged cakes!!

12 years ago my husband and I stayed in this Novotel. I was impressed with the improvement that had been made. Both of our rooms were just remodel, they were spacious quiet and give each one of us privacy. The breakfast buffet was amazing and tasteful with food that was fresh and for every taste. it is walking distance from Place Stanislas, train station restaurant and shops. Will recommend to friends.
After a 24 hours journey plus from the US when we went in our room the sofa bed were not open, I had to ask for linen and do our own bed. The clerk on duty did not know the couch was a sleeping sofa, we had to figured it out by ourself.

The breakfast was the best breakfast we had on a very long trip to many locations. We could have sat and dined for longer than we had on foods that speak to France's delicious flavors. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
There was someone smoking in a nearby room (not the fault of the hotel).

Good location, comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff
the room was classed as a twin room, but the second bed was a fold out sofa affair, which was difficult to access, which had never been used before and still covered in polythene, without bedding! The on duty staff were helpful in providing bedding, but removing the polythene from the mattress, was too big a task to be tackled at night which led to rather noisy sleep!

This is a super hotel! Lucine is an exceptional host for whom nothing is too much trouble. We had a wonderful room on the fifth floor which was huge with both bath and shower and lots of light. Opposite the hotel there are many dining choices and to on side, a pretty marina with walkways. Nancy is a fantastic and beautiful city and this hotel is the perfect location.

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Parking facilities.
Relative proximity to city centre ( but you need to be fit on foot).
Our room (111) was clean, right sized for 3 visitors for a night and the second bed was comfortably large.
Choice of food and beverage at breakfast was large enough to satisfy all family members.
Small things only !
Cups at breakfast not all squeaky clean.
Coffee machines could use a bit of cleaning (dripping pan)
The breakfast facilities will apparently be undergoing a renovation in a few days ... which is likely to improve the above.

We've been stopping here often on the way South, always a nice stop, at walking distance from the historical city center. The parking garage under the hotel is very practical when having a packed car, but needs to be reserved. EV charging is available in the garage as well using the Qovoltis app.
