Hotel De Buci's location is perfect. In the St. Germain area of Paris the hotel is surrounded by cafes, fine dinning, bakeries and gelato shops. Even a grocery store across the street. All a walk of one or two blocks. The hotel is good for families. They have several large rooms that can accommodate 4 people, not easy to find in Paris. Beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. My husband and I will be back!

Location in St Germaine was excellent and this boutique hotel was near the Metro, cafes, and restaurants. We had the buffet breakfast and the service was excellent. They provide sparkling water by the elevator entrance on the ground floor which was an excellent feature.
Our room size was 150 square feet and while ideal for one person we are more comfortable with a room size minimum 200 square feet and next time would reserve a larger room
I know it’s a boutique hotel, but the room is way too small. It’s not a cheap hotel, so you would expect a bit larger room for that price. When booking it should be made clear the room is not comfortable for two people. It should be single occupancy.

The room was comfortable and very quiet -there was no outside noise. The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. there was coffee and tea facilities in the room, although we didn't use them. There was a safe. The lobby was airconditioned. and there was water available. Great location near to the metro and many cafes and restaurants.
It would have been nice to have a bar in the hotel, but there were plenty of options in the street nearby. The room was quite hot -although there was airconditioning, it wasn't very affective.

Very nice location in a picturesque little street with lots of fantastic restaurants. Didn’t feel touristy. Extremely friendly and helpful staff making us feel like at home. . Spacious rooms, nicely decorated. Very close to the métro. Clean rooms with high standard of decoration and fittings including bathrooms.
Spa couldn’t be used as it was under maintenance. Rooms facing the road very loud throughout the night .

Great service from the moment we arrived. Once we got to the door a staff member grabbed our bags while we checked in then delivered them to our room. While checking in they offered us coffee and chocolates. They delivered 2 hand written letters to our room welcoming us and congratulating my wife and I on recently getting married. It’s a nice hotels with exceptional service.
If I had to complain about anything it would be the firmness of the bed mattress. My wife and I had trouble sleeping the 2 nights we were there.

This beautiful boutique hotel is perfectly located in a vibrant part of Paris. The concierge, Sanjay, could not have been nicer or more professional -- he personalized the guests' experiences and found us just what we hoped for.
The only possible downside is that the rooms, though luxurious, are small. We don't mind, but certainly some could find it disappointing.

The interior design was great, breakfasts were also nice, the location is top notch (15 minutes walk to Louvre and Notre-dame de Paris), the general vibe of the area was great (lots of cafes/restaurants around, historic area, authentic experience)
The room had a fatal flaw: sewage stink in the bathroom. It seems like the "water lock" of the shower was dried out and allowed the sewage smell into the room. If you use the shower and fill it again the smell stops, but after an hour it comes back. We let the staff know, they promised to fix it, but the problem persisted. Paying 350+ EUR a night and suffering from the awful stink is not something that I expected.
Also, beware that the traffic in that part of the city is brutal, expect car rides taking a lot of time (I almost missed my Versailles tour even though I called a taxi 1 hour in advance).
Lastly the room is truly tiny (the whole building is small because of historic area).

Location, location, location.
We had a suite in the top floor. It was clean and comfortable, but something seemed missing.
Staff was incredible, especially Sanjay. He is what a a concierge is supposed to be. He made our stay that extra bit more.
This will sound dumb, but the door to the suite didn’t open all the way. Banged on the wall every time. Understandable though. Space is limited.
