The location is nice, it was nice to have mini Christmas food markets inside the hotel. The boucle materials used in the rooms are of high quality and a feel-good choice.

I tried to choose a room with a view and as big as possible, but I guess I didn't get an upgrade. The rooms are a little small, but that's not a complaint. A nice hotel, a pleasant stay experience

1. They didn’t tell us until after we booked about having to walk from the edge of the city to the hotel-my husband is disabled. 2. AFTER our check in they finally got back to me to say if when we came, there was someone “otherwise not busy”, to call when we were at the edge of the city and they could pick us up-we had checked in many hours before their response. 3. They got my name wrong in the messages. 4. There was a fire downstairs. They later told us they couldn’t find the actual cause but we were “safe”. 5. They came to the room and disturbed our evening to bring us a little sample size body lotion for an apology for the fire disruption. 6. Prior to coming I let them know my husband was disabled. Instead of considering that, they put us in a room on the farthest end from the elevator so he had a very long walk every single time we left the room. 7. The carpet in our room with FiLTHY, stained and totally worn. 8. When we arrived the room was extremely hot. All for over 400 per night. It was a nightmare.

Room amenities could be improved. Had to ask for standard black tea bags since it was not provided in the room. Although stated in the room amenities, there was no toothbrush. A little more attention to the details would have been good.

Excellent breakfast with large variety of mostly healthy food, prompt and friendly service. Helpful concierge who suggested a very nice brasserie for dinner nearby. Excellent location and quiet rooms (at least those facing the inner yard).

We had to wait until 15:20 to check if our room would be ready, although the day before we got a message that the room would be available at 15:00 and possibly already at 14:00. Once we got access, we found that the room didn't correspond to the pictures published for the category "luxury". There were no bathrobes nor slippers available, and the window couldn't be closed properly with an outside temperature around 0 Celsius. When I asked the reception, I got a slightly larger room, but I was charged 15€ in excess of the price paid via booking.com. This room though had a large king-size bed instead of the twin beds we were asking for. We had to wait until dinner time for the beds to be made in twin mode. And generally, the rooms did not provide the feeling one expects from an upper class hotel: old stylish, partly worn out, poor amenities in the bathroom. Certainly not worth the price paid.

The hotel os extremely well located, nearby all the main points of interest of the city, and also nearby the best restaurants in town. The hotel restaurant itself (La Brasserie) is a strong option to eat. The silence, the clean and the breakfast is also remarkable. Staff team is always ready to help you.

Not a thing that trouble the sleep, but the pillow top in the bed could be better. Ours was a little to soft.

The room became small when the sofa bed was open, it was then difficult to walk around the room and there was no place to accomodate our 23kg suitcase. There was no playground for children.

The design of the bathroom and shower is terrible. Water leaks around the shower screen so that the floor gets wet and slippery every time. They came to fix this but nothing changed. The bar fridge stopped working during my last 2 days there. The furnishings are old and worn and need rejuvenating.
