I was also uncomfortable being shown to another hotel to use their bar.

Perfect location, close to the train station and in the center of Strasbourg. The staff was always kind and uncomplicated when we had to switch rooms.
One of the two rooms smelled of mold, and after the first day they had to change the room because the power (as well as the two rooms next to it) went out. The second room was stinking of beer, and the rain leaked in from the closed window. The rooms in general were big and clean, but for the price one could expect a bit more cured details.

The location of the hotel is very central. The breakfast is small but good.
Parking (25€) cannot be reserved upfront. They have two EV chargers in the garage but they don't manage the access very well. Instead it gets reserved for one car for the whole stay. In addition, they were broken.
The room is worn and was not the cleanest. Especially in the bathroom there was lots of visible dust. Also, there's seemingly no ventilation and the light is not too good. Finally, whoever came up with the idea of the shower design shouldn't have.
The heating doesn't work well. It's always cold in the room.

Well-located hotel, but it needs more attention to detail
The hotel offered decent value for money and was well located — very close to the Homme de Fer tram station and within walking distance to the historic center and the city’s main attractions. However, it lacked proper upkeep and attention to detail. The bathroom had visible stains, and we found a hair on the shower wall upon arrival, which obviously wasn’t ours. The mirror had a thick layer of dust, indicating it hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. The toilet paper was also of noticeably poor quality. On the bright side, the service was a highlight: a staff member named Gerald was very kind and friendly, gave us tips, and quickly brought us extra pillows when we asked. We checked the breakfast but found it too weak for the price, so we chose not to have it — a decision that felt right. All in all, it was a fair stay considering it was a holiday and the city was packed, but the hotel definitely needs improvements in cleanliness and overall maintenance.

The room is nice and has everything you need, with a clean and nice bathroom. The location is in the heart of the city center with restaurants and shops wihin walking distance. There was a coworking space downstairs.
If you have a street side room you can hear the traffic from the street. The windows have no soundproofing glass. The number of parking spots available at the hotel itself are limited and need to be reserved in advance. The receptionist tried to charge an very high deposit that we had to negotiate downwards.

In the room, the twin beds were both clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately, the hotel in general is shabby, unclean and not a welcome retreat after a day of sight-seeing.

Low standard hotel, felt old and over used! Bathroom was small and even the shower base drain was broken. Old carpet throughout. There was only 1 lift working at Christmas, the key cards to the rooms kept failing, in 3 days we had to get 4 cards replaced. Annoying when there’s 1 lift for the whole hotel. Staff know this and are very unfriendly. No milk in rooms for coffee, cheap coffee. Terrible breakfast, no omelettes, no fresh orange juice, old cheese, just a Sad breakfast. The croissants are all squashed into a basket and the egg cup for the boiled eggs that you have to boil yourself is paper.
