The Hotel is just a few minutes walk from Gare SNCF. Staff are friendly. The bed is comfortable. Room size is adequate.
Storage space in the room is adequate but limited. You now have to pay to leave luggage. Biggest gripe is that the WiFi is very slow and you have to keep logging in.

Lovely, welcoming staff. When we first arrived, room not available, so we stored our luggage at hotel, then walked the area and had lunch. Room ready when we returned.
Wify not the greatest. For instance, in 2 twin beds, I would have connectivity while my girl friend on other bed, did not.

The hotel was 5 minutes walk from where I was working, so it was perfect. If I had had more time for leisure, I could have crossed the road and walked along the canal path. On Sunday morning, I had a couple of free hours and was within easy reach of the old town centre by foot. The welcome at this hotel was particularly friendly; they also went out of their way to receive a parcel for me prior to my arrival. They could not have been lovlier. Breakfast is pre-ordered, so you just sit down and there it is. The room was large and everything was spotless. I had a bath with a shower inside, so used both. Their walls are soundproofed, so you don't hear a chirp at night. Other guests were likewise spared my terrible snoring. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The hotel has a charming old-fashioned feel about it; nothing is stressful. I will definitely come back next year.
Better coffee and a toaster would make breakfast even better.

Hotel Orsay has the perfect location for those arriving in Toulouse straight from the airport, and planning to spend the night, before taking the train to Lourdes, or another part of France. The hotel is right opposite the train station, and the airport shuttle stops exactly opposite too. There is a supermarket, cafes, and restaurants around the corner.
After spending the night in Toulouse and Lourdes as well, I have to say that, the French hotels have very comfortable beds, and very helpful staff.
Hotel Orsay is a near perfect place, if you’re spending the night, before traveling again.
It’s worth mentioning that considering the location and convenience for later travel, the price is a bargain.
To be honest, nothing. The price and location makes it a very good place to stay the night. If, however, you’re looking for accommodation for a few nights, you may find the rooms a bit small and dated, but please remember that the price and proximity are excellent.

Very convenient location arriving at train station and leaving next day on bus to airport. Excellent reception. Lift. Comfy room. Good shower and bath. Good value and prompt breakfast.
Hotel is clad in scaffolding - it would be best to let customers know ahead of trip. Keep curtains closed in Working hours. Bathroom doors very numerous!

Location is extremely handy for train travelers and not overly far from downtown and the Capitole. Breakfast was very good! Staff is friendly and conversing in English was no problem. Room was not huge, but was certainly adequate for our needs.
No significant downsides - a bit of a walk to restaurants, but that works out well for some exercise after the meal.

Location for railway station
The exterior of the hotel was being painted and covered in scaffolding and shrouds. That wasn't really an issue for me. However, my room had a very strong smell of fresh paint and was quite unpleasant. I had to leave the windows open and aircon for a few hrs to clear the smell.

My room was very quiet which I really enjoyed. It was big enough to store my two suitcases and everything was clean. The location of the hotel is quite convenient if you need to take transportation from the central station Matabiau. It was easy to walk to the city center.
The selection of breakfast items was very limited. They only had one kind of cheese and one kind of meat - no vegetarian/vegan spread or any alternative.
The staff we encountered in the beginning of our stay was exceptionally nice and welcoming. One staff member was a bit rude but that’s not the fault of the hotel.

The room was clean and tidy. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough to please you. The breakfast was excellent. I had a late flight home, so they let me keep my luggage there on the day of my departure so I could explore the city unencumbered.
I wanted a bath, but there was a problem with the plug as it was letting water out. A staff member came up with a satisfactory temporary solution, and I am confident that they will have fixed the problem properly by now.

Excellent location directly opposite Matabiau SNCF. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Pretty good breakfast, good coffee. The room was cosy, that is to say quite small, but comfortable enough and quiet as it faced the garden behind the hotel.
The bathroom really needs to be updated. The shower was over the bath with no screen or shower curtain, as a result water ended up all over the floor and adjacent sink. There was only one hook to hang towels on and no space to put washbags, etc.

Very conveniently close to train and underground stations and airport shuttle bus station. Nice and clean room. Good breakfast and helpful staff especially, the receptionist Hanan.
The bath had a shower but had no curtain or guard so we had to manoeuvre the shower very carefully so as not to splash all over the bathroom.

Near the train station so worked for our late train arrival, the hotel staff that checked us in was very nice, good bike parking in a garage (for 4 euros), decent linens on the bed, the room had a tub. These are all thing we like and look for. Breakfast was actually pretty decent for a budget place, we cleared out at check in time but they offered to let us keep the room longer since our train was late.
Hotel was decent but old, beat-up and the carpet in our room made us wish we had flip-flops, room was very small, and the tile in the bathroom was bright yellow. We paid 95 euros including breakfast and it felt like that was a fair value for what we got.

It was really close to the train station, but it was quiet, and especially so because they were nice enough to give me a room in the back also since I have trouble sleeping.
The only thing I wish they would've had is a mini fridge, not a necessity, but is always nice in any hotel. And a plug in the bathroom would be nice for doing your hair.
