The location was very good. Itโs easy to locate and the Dublin Express buses stop there. The City Link buses are also right there. So that is the biggest plus. The room was Ok, nothing special. A bit of an overkill in price for what you get if you are traveling solo or as a pair.
Price to value ratio is not really good. Itโs loud. But then again itโs a hostel. You have lots of kids visiting so you just have to keep that in mind and you are good.

Couldn't say, as they wouldn't accept my form of identification. So had to get a refund, which took about a week. Staff seemed ok but there was nothing they could do.
Couldn't stay because of my id. Refund was a bit slow and I had to pay more at another hostel so was pretty broke going to the gig I came to Dublin to see

Location was probably the best part, all of my points of interest were within walking distance. The room wss nice, the fact that kitchen and luggage room were available after check out while i was waiting for my flight was also great. I loved the feeling of the place - big cozy travelling community. There was free milk, tea and coffee available every day witch i appreciated a lot. The staff was very friendly and they helped me accomodate with my wheelchair. Not the best place for a wheelchair user but if you're ambulatory like me then it works.
When i was booking i was told that lower bunks availability is not garanteed but when we got to our room turned out they reserved lower bunks both for me and my companion witch i appreciate greatly
Seemed odd to me to have to pay for towels separately.
Except for the elevator the grounds are not wheelchair accecible so if you're a full time wheelchair user this is not a good choice. (Big step at the entrance, heavy doors, narrow hallways/doorframes, bathroom not accesible)

You get exactly what you pay for. And once you keep that in mind, you should be very happy with this hostel. I stayed in a 6-bed dorm. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom too. Staff friendly. Tea and coffee available in common room. No frills, no fuss. Good value for money in Dublin. Recommended if you're on a budget.

Great location, only came to sleep so it was good. Great feature that they have luggage storage for free the day you check in AND out. They also provide free tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc and cutlery and stuff.
Below the beds was veeery dusty and thats where your lockers are so not great. And also the ensuit bathroom was very dirty despite saying that they clean it every day (but I did have a nightmare roommate so maybe it was her messing it up every day)

The shared kitchen is a joy! Very well equipped and absolutely spotless. It is also large enough to accommodate several people. Alongside the very reasonable price for a night's stay, this made my trip so much more affordable. Also in a great central location for journeys on foot and access to Luas and bus services.
It didn't worry me, but be aware that there are not curtains on the bunks. In addition, toilets are in the room, which can make you feel concerned about disrupting others with noise, however I wasn't woken up by others at any point. It can be noisy outside, but this is Aston Quay, so to be expected.

Best shower of my 3 wk trip! Hot, untimed with good pressure. We had a 4 person rm & it overlooked tge river = amazing! Walking distances to everything good - 1 street away from Fleet etc. Laundrette practically next door. Resturants so close.
Room & ensuite was spotlessly clean. Really happy with our stay... slept really well.
Lift was out of order while we were there.. Not a problem for us with backpacks on the second floor, but couldn't challenge others (saw people from 3rd floor lugging massive suitcases downbthe stairs)

Check in and check out was easy, facilities were clean, facilities were ample including luggage lockers, kitchen, and prepared activities.
Was very noisy for two of the three nights there, this was outdoor noise, not within the hotel. The sound of the bathroom facilities from all the rooms on our floor were easily heard. Thank goodness for noise canceling headphones! The toilet seats was not firmly attached to floor and jiggled when we sat on it.

I liked the position in temple bar. I like the kitchen to cook and the common area
Each dorm had a single shower and a single toilet room inside the sleeping room. I was in a 8 bed room with 1 toilet. There was nothing dividing the toilet from the room, so you could really hear everything from inside the toilet and, moreover, the fan was not working, no air vented and all the smell coming into the room after each use.
In the common area there were only 2 additional toilets.
I think this is a really too low number for all the building.
Another thing is that the room was really small and there was no space to put on things, nor a table, nor any plane. The same into the shower and toilet rooms. It was difficult to bring clothes in.
