The apartment was very clean and comfortable and Jerome was so helpful.
The breakfast was just a croissant and a hot drink, so was not very substantial compared to other apartments/hotels in Italy.
There were no tea spoons in the room to make tea and coffee.
Check-in begins at 14:30 and check-out can be done until 10:30.
Interesting place to explore in close proximity to the Bed and Breakfast are Collezioni d Arte e di Storia della Cassa di Risparmio, Scala della Montagnola, Museo Civico Medioevale e dal Rinascimento, MAMbo, Via Indipendenza, Basilica San Francesco, Land Rover Arena, Palazzo Marescalchi, Piazza del Nettuno, Cosmos and others.

Marconi Inn has a great location as both the train station and the main city centre are very close (about 10-15 min by foot). There was lots of space in our room for three people and beds were comfortable.
More of a personal preference: Breakfast was typically Italian (coffee and a pastry) in a cute nearby cafè. It was good, but one of the reasons why we decided on Marconi Inn was the breakfast option and we expected a bit more.
Our room was also a bit noisy during the night since the walls are rather thin and our room was next to some sort of appliance outside (maybe boiler..).

they asked what time we would reach the b&b but no one was there when we arrived and we couldn't get in. There were problems with the invoice we needed for our employer. the staff was not prepared and made several mistakes while we were still waiting for our rooms (more than 30 minutes passed).
Breakfast was just cappuccino and brioche in the near caffe shop.

The location was perfect - 10 minutes walk from the train station and 15 from the centre. The room was comfortable and contact was good, although there isn't staff on the desk all the time so if you need something it can be difficult. For breakfast you get a coupon to use in the neighbouring cafe for hot drinks and a croissant.
Not much information about the city although information centre was not far away. Otherwise we had a comfortable stay.

The Marconi Inn was ideally situated for my trip to Northern Italy being equidistant between the train station and the city centre of Bologna. Francesco provided a friendly welcome and was just a phone call away if needed. The bed was super comfy and the shower was excellent. Lovely to have a fridge and kettle in the room.
I would have liked access to water to refill my bottle each day. I do love to be as green a traveller as possible!

The breakfast is okay, and the location is excellent, near the Pam supermarket, several good restaurants around including Asian food and walking distance to the main independence street. Furthermore, Mr. Francisco extremely helpful and offered a ride to some places.
The shower room, water came outside during showering. Just need small curtain, not big deal :)

KING bed very comfortable. Clean room with kettle & coffee machine. Good hot water. Good location for tourist sites, eateries and old city.
Firstly, very difficult to find. This ‘Inn’ is on the 7th floor of a residential/office block. Signage was impossible.
(2 photos to help) Other than the reception desk there r 6 rooms along a hallway. On check in with Gerome we were asked for EUR26 for city tax. I have checked previous Booking.com reviews & no one has mentioned this.
At 5AM at Sometime during the 1st night (2 night stay) the electricity in our room died. The sewage smell was terrible because of this. We waited until 7am to call Francesco who promptly came. At 8AM a new room off the noisy bright at night Reception area was allocated where the plumbing gurgled all night long.
A very very NOISY location with traffic.

The location was convenient. They allowed baggage storage, which was fantastic. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed.
The king bed was the most comfortable bed in the world, but the single bed was very uncomfortable. We ended-up squished three people on the king so no one had to sleep on it. It felt a little overpriced, but overall a good stay.

The inn is located 15 minutes on foot from the train station.
